no offence but if you’re the “I’m into all women and maybe 2-3 men” type of “bisexual” woman you’re probably just straight. you’re actually attracted to men so you have a type. finding women pretty and feeling safe around them doesn’t make you bi either. being het isn’t a sin and you don’t have to be wuhluhwuh to be a feminist fyi
Honestly as a bi woman I agree with this. I don’t relate at all to the “ugh men are gross but women are sooo pretty uwu” type of bi posts at all. Sometimes I wonder how many of them are actually innately bisexual, and how many are simply exposed to so many objectified images of women, and probably watch lesbian porn because it focuses more on female pleasure, that their minds connect “women” and “sex” together. It can’t be unusual in our society which heavily eroticizes women and not men.
Truly the amount of supposedly bisexual women who would never look twice at a butch woman, or any woman not heavily made up and feminine, is astronomical. As well as the amount who would make out with a woman but never date or fall in love with one.
I’m not sure why all of this is, but I figure our society of objectifying women (as well as the fact that men are much more dangerous and take less care of their appearance, etc) plays into it. It’s worth a discussion.
op is right and this addition is spot on the amount of times ive tried to talk abt specific preferences with the “i just love all women” bisexuals and they literally cant think of one thing they “love” about women that isnt linked to compulsorily hyperfemininity “they are so soft” thats a skincare routine i know female farmhands that have skin like leather “girls smell good” thats perfume all people smell like sweat and skin “girls are so much nicer” do i even have to get into this one lmao and either way idk why the radfems are getting mad in the notes if this doesn’t describe you then..its probably not abt you
