Ah, I see that Agent Rogers has finally wished to join us. It is always good to see Captain.
Director Fury. It's good to see you too, Sir. Do you have a mission for me?

Subtle.
@Steve
There’s been a disturbance outside Stark Tower, and since my partner is currently indisposed (drunk off his ass and rolling around on the roof), I suggest you come with me in case I need back up.
*grabs his shield*
Let's move out.
ALRIGHT, FUCKERS. IT’S TIME TO KICKSTART THIS RP BACK UP.
WHO’S WITH ME?

Well, I am willing to help you think of something, of course. (I’m working on replies to small stuff right now) :> But yeah. I like the idea of us all being able to interact. It’s been a bit lonely here lately.
;u;! You work your magic, Loki. Hahahah I'm so funny.

VERILY CAPTAIN OF AMERICA I AGREE WHOLEHEARTEDLY WITH THY STATEMENT YOU WILL HAVE MJOLNIR AND MY SUPPORT
ooc: Avengers!
It has come to my attention that we have been slacking. Sure, we all have our real lives and other things going on with us but I just thought that maybe something substantial might help us interact more and post! You know, to liven up the place.
I already presented the baseball plot--which I am still willing to do--but I think it's a little too early for it. There's not a lot of us and it might be a little difficult to role-play if half of us don't know how to play. Not to mention differing timezones make it difficult for all of us to be on at the same time--AND the fact that it would be weird to rp out on the dash? I'm not sure... I didn't think far ahead enough for that one, I just thought it would be fun.
ANYWAY. The point is I am trying to come up with a plot for us to play out. I really want action-y things because, even though it's hard, it's hella fun. I'm still not sure what though and so maybe we could all work together on this? C: I just wanted to put this out there. I know a lot of us are busy but I dunno. I would love to do something together again because we are the Avengers and the Avengers means family and family means nobody gets left behind so. Yes.
Come on, Team! Let's get cracking!
A stupid thing I thought of and then spent to much time fussing over. I would totally read about Tony sassing Bruce about how lame his tech is. Does this exist as a fic? Because it SHOULD
It had been storming all day today and only the starting did it began to calm down with a sense of tranqulity. Or so it seemed, the nightfall tended to hold many things from prying eyes, and this was no exception. Footsteps shift heavily against the gravel and dirt, and what came out of this world was a blackness, the only sign of its presence visually were its dimly illuminated, white eyes. It stared the man down, rushing up, and holding something before stopping to growl out, "Chocolate?"
Steve had felt uneasy; perhaps walking out at night in the dark after it rained was a bad idea after all.
He needed the fresh air--or rather the humid air--and the decision was not at all well planned but he recalled playing with Bucky after rainfall when they were children and that in itself gave him the motivation to go out at all.
But he could feel that he was not alone, being stalked. When he turned to scan the streets and alleys, he could see nothing, hear nothing even with his heightened senses. It made him uneasy.
As he began walking ahead, that's when he heard the footsteps, heavy and deliberate, and without hesitation, Steve reached behind him for his shield, wielding it defensively.
Only to be offered chocolate.
Steve blinked and stared at the figure in front of him and narrowed his eyes. "'Scuse me?"
Steve felt utterly lonely. It came with being ahead of his time, he supposed, but lately it was all he could feel. Not only that, but he also felt more and more paranoid; he could hear a distant humming every so often, like that of military machinery and it startled him often. His dreams haunted him and he could not keep his eyes closed for long. Images of Bucky, of Peggy and even Howard Stark often flashed before him when he blinked and with them came headaches and a sense of despair.
Still, he did not forget his duty. He kept up with his training late at night while everyone was asleep. He stayed alert. And, though he only started to warm up to talking to Tony and Bruce about the war, he made sure to take care of himself by drawing in his journal as well as physically caring for himself.
It was while he was drawing his most recent entry that he realized how hungry he was. He had not eaten all day and his stomach rumbled. Rolling out of the bed, he rubbed at his eyes and hid his journal under his pillows. He walked to the kitchen after making sure his door was locked and secured, he slid his hands in his pockets.
Footsteps sounded behind her and she turned to find Steve walking into the kitchen.
“Evening, Captain.” She offered a smile and sat up, taking her feet down from the table. Standing, she pushed her chair back underneath the table.
Steve Rogers. Interesting individual, she had read his dossier many many many times. After all, he was the best friend of the man who had trained her in Red Room. James: her Winter Soldier. She involuntarily let out a soft sigh in remembrance, smile faltering as the Captain walked further into the room. “Can’t sleep?”
Startled, Steve snapped his head up, mistaking her for Peggy almost. His shoulders sunk ever so slightly before he pulled himself together. His heart, however, clenched as it pounded loudly in his chest. "Evening." He replied quietly, nodding in her direction in a somewhat formal tone. "No, not really." He smiled faintly, moving into the kitchen. "Do we have any left overs?" As he spoke, he made his way to the refrigerator, scanning it's contents and hiding his face from her to see what lack of sleep and paranoia had done to him.
Well, now you know—I’m swell. /huffs. If I’d have realized that you would Waltz in here and look through my personal things, I would have put a better lock on my desk drawers. /still scowls, not at all in the mood for this and moves to place his notebook on his night table for the time being.
Oh, much to the contrary. I did not enter your room simply to scour through the drawers and find what personal tidbits I could sate my appetite on. I came to speak to you. *grins at Steve in response to the scowl* Rather, when you did not return for an extended period of time… I became restless.
*gestures to the journal as he speaks* Lock or no, I would have been able to get to it. I meant to keep it away from anyone else who might find it. I can sympathize in having such personal things for no one’s eyes other than my own…
And what is it that you want to talk about? /still on his guard around the man in front of him, but relaxes his shoulders slightly and crosses his arms.
Besides, apparently, to talk about my personal things... /frowns, almost a pout, clearly seeing the contradiction of his sympathy and giving him an accusing look.
I would like to submit a Tumblr moment of silence for the people who where killed or hurt in the shooting in Colorado. Durring this moment of silence reblog this and don't post for 15 or more Minutes. Hope is what those people need right now, let's give it to them.
I was just going to cook the beef— /he glanced down at the apron while picking up the pans and chuckled. Might as well, I guess. Put it on me, will you? I have my hands full.
Of course. *straightens the apron and crosses over to loop the band around his neck, then reaches his arms around to tie the knot behind him. The apron has a mustache print and an enormous ‘Kiss the cook’ *
Heh. That’s Tony’s sense of fashion for you, I… guess?
/looks down at the apron when he'd finished putting it on and grins. Oh yeah, that's attractive. /snickers. Thanks.
It was quiet. Too quiet.
When you live with six men, you find out what “too quiet” really means. Someone was up to something somewhere in the tower, and Natasha did not care for it. She took a seat in the communal kitchen and looked around. Silently, she went over the roster.
Tony? Gone. Steve? Gone. Thor and Loki? Gone and gone. Bruce? Gone. Clint? He’s gone too.
She leaned back on two legs of her chair, propping her ankles up on the table. Where could they be? She frowned, brow furrowing as she crossed her arms. She was leaving in two days for Monaco with Clint. To be honest, she believed the team would’ve been bothering her and teasing her by now. But today…silence. It was unnerving and left her alone to her thoughts…something very dangerous.
