Protesting today outside French retailer ‘The Kooples’ in an attempt to stop them from selling angora rabbit fur, fox fur and raccoon dog fur. Only beautiful animals should wear fur and not ugly people. Fur represents pain, torture, suffering and pervasive cruelty! The only statement u make when u wear fur is that you have chosen to support and fund the suffering of innocent beings. 90% of the world’s furs come from China where there is currently no animal welfare laws to protect them. Helpless angora rabbits are tied up with their legs tightly tethered and are then stretched out before workers rip out the fur by hand while the rabbits scream then leave them bleeding in their cages. Their fur grows back over a 3 month period and then the horror begins all over again. SAY NO TO FUR! DON’T SUPPORT AND FUND VIOLENCE AND ABUSE BY FUNDING THE MACABRE, ABHORRENT INDUSTRY

We are the only species to drink lactation fluid after infancy and we also choose to drink it from a different species? How absurd is that when you put it into context? It's completely irrational and DISGUSTING. Then we wonder why the rates of chronic diseases continue to rise.....Oh I forgot we need that dairy calcium for healthy bones right? WRONG! The countries that consume the most dairy invariably have the highest rates of osteoporosis also know as brittle bone disease and also cancer. It's much healthier and ETHICAL to avoid milk because it contains saturated fat, cholesterol, allergenic proteins, lactose sugar, and frequent traces of contamination. It's also an inhuman industry in which cows are repeatedly raped then after birth and then have their calves snatched away within 24 hours. Male calves are usually slaughtered for veal or just shot for being a useless by product for an inhuman industry. Female calves have the same fate as their mother and will be slaughtered after 4-5 years after being exhausted from the constant cycle of being pregnant, giving birth and milked to death. Unlike cow's milk, plant-based calcium sources contain vitamins C and K and the minerals potassium and magnesium, which are all very important for bone health. DAIRY = VEAL If consume anything that contains cow's milk you are inadvertently supporting the slaughter of baby male calves and sentencing female calves and cows to a life of misery😕Too few people understand how their purchase of any dairy product is connected to the veal industry, when in fact, veal is a by-product of the dairy industry. For female cows to produce milk, they are artificially inseminated and kept in a continuous cycle of being pregnant and giving birth. While pregnant and shortly after, a cow’s body is producing the hormones necessary to maximize milk production. So what happens to all the babies?? Well, calves generally are separated at birth from their mothers, usually within a few hours. After all, farmers need ALL that milk to SELL and they simply cannot allow the deserving baby calf to consume any of it, even though it is intended, by nature, SOLELY for them. Cows milk/dairy is not designed for humans and let's be pragmatic here, no other mammals drink their mother's milk past infancy so why do humans thinks it's ok to drink that of another species? Male calves are useless for milk production and are a different breed of cattle from the ones raised for beef so they are taken away to be raised for VEAL. In the USA they are generally confined to darkness into a TINY crate (approx 30 inches wide and 72 inches long) and denied any freedom, all ALONE and AFRAID! They aren't allowed to move around as veal meat is known for being pale and tender, which is a result of the animal being confined and anemic. Instead of living on his mother's milk, the calf is fed grain or a synthetic formula that is intentionally low in iron to keep the poor terrified baby anemic and the flesh pale. It's one of the cruelest food practices and the calves are typically slaughtered at 4-5 months of age. Sadly they are often unable to walk to slaughter as their muscles are so underdeveloped. In the UK and EU crates are ILLEGAL but instead many are instead shot dead at birth or housed together in groups before being slaughtered. NOT YOUR MOTHER, NOT YOUR MILK 👊🏿

It's so important to seek the truth and not to simply just accept what conventional society is doing as correct. Just because we have been doing something for a long time doesn't make it right at all. The earth genuinely needs a revolutionary shift in social consciousness to transform a culture of exploitation, commodification and oppression to one of non violence and cultivate justice and respect for all life. Most people can agree that the way factory farmed animals are treated is deplorable but still they find it easier to block it out rather than jeopardise giving up the foods they have become so familiar with. I encourage people to delve deeper especially if you consider yourself an animal lover. Also health wise we are experiencing the biggest health crisis in the history of humanity with rates of chronic diseases and obesity constantly increasing. For example In the last 10 years we have doubled the amount of money spent on cancer research but still they predict that half of us will hear the words 'you have cancer' in our lifetime and global cancer rates set to soar 75% by 2030. It's evident we are doing something very wrong here. The one thing we all do is eat at least 3 x a day, so it makes sense to begin to look at how we are nourishing our bodies? Are saturated fat and cholesterol ridden animal products ok?Vegans have considerably lower rates of chronic disease and obesity. FACT. Most diseases are preventable and reversible with a plant based diet, that's substantial evidence that speaks volumes. Aside from that our planet and precious ecosystem and resources are dwindling. Animal agriculture is the number one cause of global warming. Also globally there are approximately 1 billion people on the planet that today will go starving. Our priority is feeding up farm animals on mostly genetically modified oats and soy so we can eat them. In the meantime 1 billion fellow humans suffer immensely. So you can assume that vegans are extreme freaks, just trying to perceive themselves as pure as snow. However despite what the naysayers say our intentions are good, not just for the animals either, for humanity and the planet. End the lies. Go vegan🌎🌱

Last night I went to check out the new and highly anticipated film ‘UNITY’ bought to us by Shaun Monson the writer and director of 'Earthlings’. I managed to grab one of last tickets for the one night only event, showing at the odeon in Covent Garden at 8pm.

SYNOPSIS: We are all part of the one universe, born of the same atoms, yet we can’t live together in harmony. Some 95% of human history is filled with wars, yet we keep on killing each other, maiming our world and failing to learn from our past. Instead of killing each other and the animals on our planet, we should raise our consciousness and evolve to Homo Spiritus.

I found it to be a very profound and compelling watch from beginning to end. Unlike his 2005 documentary earthlings this film doesn’t centre solely on animal exploitation and abuse but on human rights and oppression, our consciousness, cosmic existentialism, society health issues, spirituality, and the power of LOVE. Unequivocally there are some parts that are distressing and difficult to watch (I certainly shed some tears) but he has maintained equilibrium by also using some stunning imagery of nature and the cosmos. I left the theatre feeling revitalized with a sense of hope rather than despair. The message is clear and I think it will galvanize many people out of their soporific states into making the connection. Violence begets violence and meat/dairy/eggs cannot be procured without violence. This films demonstrates how our brutally is an extension of our disconnection from each one another. Unity promises to reconnect us to the fundamental universal principle of justice and respect for all life. I would certainly recommend viewing this masterpiece and I personally can't wait to watch it again

Everyday we have a choice. Do we choose to ingest life and thrive on the abundance of whole foods that our earth has so generously gifted us with? Or do we choose to consume death? Flesh and carcass that belonged to an innocent, sentient being? You can use whatever euphemisms you want and instead call the flesh, meat, bacon, ham, sausage or steak all whilst drinking a glass of cow tit juice. It's all part of the plan to make the flesh sound palatable and disconnect and disassociate us from the animal victims. Think about it: Vegan foods are cholesterol-free, generally low in saturated fat, and high in fiber, complex carbohydrates, and other essential nutrients. They’re often packed with protein and cancer-fighting phytochemicals, and vegans can easily obtain all the vitamins (including vitamins B12 and D) and minerals (including calcium and iron) that they need. B12 is destroyed by heat, by the way so if you think eating meat is the only guaranteed way to get your dose of that vitamin, you really need to think again.... Meat, eggs, and dairy products are unequivocally high in artery-clogging cholesterol, saturated fat, and calories. They don’t contain fiber and the hormones, toxins, and antibiotics that are often found in animal-based food have been linked to a litany of health problems. As usual the proof simply speaks for itself and if you still aren't convinced then please go and find a hospital full of vegans????Obviously external factors like stress/smoking/sun exposure/alcohol/drugs all contribute to disease but for DIET induced illnesses our hospitals are not occupied with vegan patients. I think it's no exaggeration to state that our healthcare systems are in fact overrun and FULL of meat, cheese, egg and dairy lovers suffering from a myriad of diet related illnesses such as heart disease, obesity, cancer, diabetes, strokes and osteoporosis.

It's not 'natural' for humans to consume meat and therefore it is completely unnecessary. Our canine teeth bare no resemblance to actual carnivorous fangs, nor do we have a mouth full of them like genuine carnivores. We have short, flat and BLUNT teeth, very similar to that of cows teeth. True Carnivores rip and swallow flesh, while herbivores have a lateral chewing motion, from side to side? Which sounds more familiar to you? Legit carnivores have rough, rasping tongues where as herbivores, like humans, have smooth tongues. Our non existent claws make catching and ripping flesh with our bare hands IMPOSSIBLE. Carnivores THRIVE on acid forming foods, which are in turn deadly to humans and lead the way to diseases such as heart disease, stroke, osteoporosis and cancer. Humans thrive on an alkaline diet of wholefoods from the earth. The stomach acid of a carnivore is 100-1000 x stronger than that of a human, they also have much shorter digestive tracts so the meat can pass through the body quickly. Humans have long digestive tracts which cause meat get stuck, to rot, decompose and decay. Real Meat eaters thrive on a high fat diet where as humans do not handle more than small quantities of fat well. Meat eaters mouths salivate at the site of prey, they sense food and react to the smell of the animal. They have carnivorous instincts! For the majority of humans, the sights and smells of a slaughter house are repulsive and unless meat is cooked, fried, and camouflaged with condiments it has NO appeal . In actual fact we find the flesh/carcass to be a thing of immense disgust. The parallels between humans and all herbivores on this planet speak for themselves..... For the plan as nature intended, has been devastated by humans.... We are the only species on this planet that hinders every other species and the only species that if we were to ever be removed, everything other living thing would benefit. We may be 'top of the food chain' but we currently serve no vital role here and are simply killing our planet and still we have the audacity to think we are so superior with such deplorable, selfish and glutenous behavior?

These poor dolphins are enslaved and trapped in a life of misery. They are confined to this small chlorinated swimming pool which measures 10m by 20m, (in wake resort in Bali) only meters away from their real home.....the ocean. They long to go back there and have been described by bystanders as lifeless as well as concerns they are going blind from exposure to so many chemicals in the pool water. No animal deserves to be imprisoned, exploited and oppressed!!!! Just so some greedy humans can make money off them by commodifying them and forcing them to do shows and having photos taken with tourists in the pool. What a miserable existence they currently have 😔 Fortunately there is now a campaign to have them rehabilitated from this hell hole and freed into their natural habitat. We need more justice, respect, compassion responsibility and FREEDOM for the animal kingdom, we need to protect these innocent creations. This world needs a new kind of army- the plant powered vegan army of the kind and compassionate 🙌🐾🌏🌱 Certainly most people don't want to wake up each day and support animal abuse, violence and death but they still do it by consuming animal products that are derived from gentle, vulnerable beings with no defense against us. When a lion kills a zebra in the wild at least that zebra has a chance to escape..... We don't give farm animals that opportunity.... You're right. There is always someone telling you that you're wrong or it's 'impossible'. Far too many people are hiding from the truth, and encompassed with arbitrary excuses 🙉🙉🙉 Mind numbing themselves with trash tv and nasty food to escape reality...... We gradually break down barriers only to encounter further walls of inveterate ignorance that can seem insurmountable. Focus on what you are doing and not the results. Engage yourself so completely that there is no room for self doubt. See everything as an opportunity for growth and personal expansion because there is invariably something to learn from every situation. Even if you didn't get the desired outcome, you can always take something positive away on your trajectory. We are protesting today outside the Chinese embassy in London against the dog and cat meat 'festival' in Yulin. Even though it was officially banned it still went ahead this year but at least less dogs and cats were slaughtered than previous years. We recently ran an emergency food and supplies appeal for @dogsmountain sanctuary in the Philippines. They currently have 200 dogs residing there that have been rescued from the illegal dog meat trade. We asked locally and via their Facebook page for people to donate dog food/treats/medicine/toys and hygiene products. I'm pleased to say we have had a great response and I want to thank everyone that sent items over to me to ship. Looks like it won't all be fitting in that box but it's always better to have too much rather than not enough and I'm more than happy to ship another box😊 Just to be clear to the vegan police out there. I feed MY dog simba a vegan diet and these are not items I have personally purchased myself. So before someone wants to make an arbitrary comment and castigate me by implying that I'm contributing to the meat industry now, I want to interject you right now🚫👮🏽 All negativity will be removed and you shall be blocked 🚫👮🏽 It's a shame that some people miss the message as they are too busy looking for a mistake.
