I know some are upset about the "straight baiting" of Robin and Steve but like...why? Why do some want Steve to be in a relationship THAT badly. I think giving him a best friend was a smarter choice by far. Who cares if he never gets a formal love interest by the end of the show when he finally has a friend his age who likes him for him. Not everyone needs to be paired up in a show, especially when we haven't actually seen Steve have a friend like Robin before, which he obviously needs more than a relationship.
