I can’t believe that there are literally only days left of 2020. This year has felt to me like both a marathon and a sprint. I have utterly failed my reading goal for this year - I’d be surprised if I’ve hit double digits. I’ve just checked and according to Goodreads I’ve read 7, but Bookly (which is probably more accurate) says 10. I hope you have had a better year in books than me. Well I guess it’s Friday already. I’ve seriously lost all sense of time, like everyone else. I thought I’d get some good reading time in this week, and so far have managed none. Instead I was invested in the Tour de France. I’m looking forward to stage 20, the individual time-trial, tomorrow and then the run into Paris on Sunday. Well hello there. It’s been a while. Longer than I intended definitely. I hope this post finds you well, and that you have a good week. The sun is shining and the sky that I can see is blue, the kind of vibrant blue that means it will either be a super hot day or a surprisingly cool one. So it’s May. Sorry for disappearing but honestly I’ve not had a lot to say. This was how I spent some of Friday while waiting to complete my medicine dose. It was the first time I didn’t have to wait afterwards. I’ve also been struggling on the book reading front, so it was the first time in a month that I actually got some reading done. Happy Wednesday! I might not be reading a lot, but I’ve managed to read something fairly consistently over the past five days (excluding today, as I’ve not had the chance yet).
