Judging by the look on the younger girl’s face, she didn’t really seem to pleased with his request—- but, he really had no other choice. He couldn’t just go on believing every single person that claimed to be a part of the royal family.
—-Although, her introduction was… something that he hadn’t expected.
"Faiza.. Saluja…?" He echoed, eyes widening upon hearing her name—- but, more importantly, her parents’ names. He’d heard a lot about them from his own parents—- and, honestly, he thought that they’d died right along with them. Perhaps, he was mistaken? Perhaps, they had survived?!
"…I am Ren, Hakushuu." He bowed lightly, still a bit shocked at the revelation. "I am the son of Prince Ren, Hakuryuu and Morgiana. If what you’re saying is true… that you are, indeed, the daughter of Aunt Haku… then, you are my cousin… but, such a thing… such a thing is impossible! For you and I to meet—-“
"—-Then, you… could you also not be from this timeline?"
❥ { His words, especially the aunt part surprised her even more than she already was; when he reached the "timeline" part Faiza had lost it. Since she arrived the past the girl had thought she was the only one by the moment who had been able to achieve such a thing. Not only in her world things went wrong, but also in the young man's. If it had gone all terribly bad twice, what kind of assurance would they receive that this time it wouldn't go the same way?
"You are my mother's twin kid, then?" even as she spoke those words it still seemed unreal, as if the whole sentence was said by a stranger and not herself. "Well, I guess it does make kind of... sense." A complete lie of hers, and she was a terrible liar. Oh well. Faiza tried to find the right words to asnwer, because telling him 'hey, in my future almost everyone is dead' would only shock him. Instead, she spoke more calm this time, "Indeed. I... I come from a future where my mother died against Al Sarmen's Witch. I came back to change that, and for now I am making little success..." }
