MAKING THIS POST TO OFFICIALLY MAKE IT CLEAR THIS BLOG IS DEAD FOR NOW.

I will be leaving it up, as I have still enjoyed the time I have had with it. But I have lost a lot of my interest in this tale and don't have as much time for it. It is also under a separate account, so I have not seen any likes/asks/messages since I last looked here. So sorry for any folk has sent. I do appreciate it <3

The little Mimikyu will of course still be my lil OC child and you will see lots of art and commissions for them at my other blogs. And maybe one day a new blog (If time allows for it 😆)

So, it ain't quite the weekend, but I have decided to try and tentatively pick this blog back up.

Mainly I wish to send more asks out to the many awesome blogs out there. But I might try picking up the story here. I think I will start simple and pick a day of the week to do updates/send asks and stick to that. Probably friday or something.

Regardless, that is how things will be for now. Wish me luck 😆

OMG IT HAS ALMOST BEEN A YEAR SINCE I LAST TOUCHED THIS BLOG!

Em, this isn't a quite me coming back to it. But it has been on my mind a lot, as the original purpose of this blog (and the reason behind all the lore/choices) was so that I had a blog to send asks to others.

So I'm going to clean out the ask box (Sorry anyone who sent one and I didn't get around to) and maybe touch things up. All the while I'm going to have a proper think on what I want to do. I have set myself a deadline to come up with an answer by the weekend. So there will be another post then.

So watch this space for now if you are interested, you amazing people 💕

Mimikyu@Keith/Scarlett: The Mimikyu looked on with awe. “This is all so cool! Are you both like big name stars? Is this some famous show?” The Mimikyu glanced around trying to figure out what was going on, but with excitement in their eyes. “What do you do here?”

Oh woe is me. The torment. The pain. The agony...Only Joking 😆

I suppose it would be called cheating to say Everything?

Honestly, it was love at first sight. I actually missed X/Y generation and Sun/Moon generation. So my first encounter was when I got back in with shield and was looking at the new Ghost types. The moment I laid eyes on them, it was the single most endearing baby I had ever seen.

Then when I learned about it! It jumped into first place and firmly held on forever.

I love the background, where it is just trying to make friends and it feels the best way is to imitate. I love how no one knows what is under the disguise, being very cryptic and clearly strange. I love how it plays in game, being very powerful that I can just take it against anything.

I love everything about them.

Then when I found out that others, very talented peoples, also saw how it could possibly disguise as anything! That my adorable Mimikyu could dress up anyway it wanted. In its own creative ways. That if I pushed myself I could create those scenes! Well I just loved it more. It brought out the artistic in me.

There is nothing I don't love about the little one. I love my headcanons and I love other peoples headcanons. I love the art made for it by so many, the sad scenes, the joyful scenes and everything in between. I love how much joy that one little design has brought me. The friends it has lead to. The memories made just because of my love for it.

I love everything about Mimikyu!

Mod Update

So, it is with great irony, I am constantly forgetting about this blog.

I've got asks still sitting in the inbox, I haven't drawn anything in a long time and I also haven't sent asks out either.

I'm not sure what I am going to do going forward. I don't want to delete this, so not that, but I am struggling to keep on top of it. I regret making it under its own login and not a sub-blog of my main. At least then it would be easier to remember.

So this is just an update to say this blog is not quite dead. Just in limbo.

And I don't know for how long.

Forgotten-Mimikyu@Radar: The Mimikyu stumbled through this portal, but thankfully, it was to a much nicer place. The first thing they spotted was the Lucario and they took an instant interest. They scuttled over calling out. “Hello? Em, sorry to suddenly sneak up on you.” Their busted ear formed a mini T-shirt symbol, “I was curious about the jumper? Jacket? Hoodie? I forget what they are called.” They seemed a bit embarrassed. “It is cool though. What’s the story behind it?”

“He… he gave it to me when I was a riolu, b-but it was too big for me then.. b-but once I evolved, it fit me perfectly! It’s… basically become like a comfort item to me.. I don’t like taking it off unless I absolutely have to.”

Dear diary.

I met Delilah today. I thought she would be scary but she was very cool. She was very kind and got me a hoodie like hers made. It looks super awesome.

Neo was the one who made it though. They are very kind too. They offered to take a picture of us. I will keep it in my den with my other important stuff.

I hope to see them all again one day.

Unown@Starla: A series of Unown enter, all wearing small chief hats and aprons (Some poorly due to their shape), they spell out L.O.O.K.I.N.G. T.O. H.I.R.E.? W.E. C.A.N. C.O.O.K...S.O.M.E.T.H.I.N.G.S.!

Starla gave a nervous glance at the Unown something about their presence reeked of a disaster waiting to happen and she could feel it

"Um...sorry fellas I got tah cooking for now....but ummm...if you want to help that badly you can get the ingredients and measure them for me"

The riolu silently prayed that nothing go wrong on opening day as she directed the Unwon to the kitchen

Mimikyu was resting against the wall, taking slow deep breaths, when Shelly came up to them. They needed the distraction and they felt they had caused enough issues already. They did not want to cause more issues. That would be rude.

“Oh, em, it doesn’t really work like that.” They said scratching at the missing ear, “It is difficult to explain. How do I put this? That ear doesn’t exist. It can’t exist. Everything will bend to ensure that remains true.” They looked aside, not quite wanting to make eye contact as they talk, “I appreciate the offer though. But nothing anyone can do would help. Believe me. Thread just flays, material will rip or fall apart as you try. Any attempt to replace it will simply not work.” They tried to keep their voice measured as they spoke, “It is a special kind of injury. That part was erased. Forever.”

They turned back to face them, picking their voice up a bit more as if shaking the back feelings away. “But I don’t mind really. It is just another part of me now. Plus having the reach from this point in my costume is helpful. So it is not all bad.” They wiggled their head a little.

“It doesn’t bother me.” They lied.

Mimikyu listened intently as Nick explained things. They were shocked to be told it was an abandoned egg. A part of them stirred at that. They felt a bit sad thinking about it, but at least the little one seemed happy with Nick. What a lucky child they were. And Nick being back on his feet was a good thing. It was a little embarrassing to have their ‘Signature’ now hung up. But that was fine. What’s the worst that could happen?

Then Kristin hugged him.

Mimikyu suddenly twitched involuntary. It almost caused them to drop the bag of snacks. As they steadied themselves, it was almost as if something stirred under the costume. The threads tightened. Mimikyu took some deep breaths and tried to calm down.

“Sorry.” They coughed, “The bag? It is some…” They twitched, smaller than before, and they could feel themselves becoming light headed. “It is some honey snacks.”

Suddenly a pounding echoed in their head.

“Sorry. I’m suddenly not feeling well. Mind if I just go outside a second?” It was a partly rhetorical question, as Mimikyu did not wait for an answer and stumbled their way out of Nick’s house.

“Nick!” Mimikyu made a quick move to put Nick between them and the young one. “Thank goodness. I’m out of my depth here…” Mimikyu paused, “Wait your daughter?” They blinked twice in disbelief. “As in…your child? Wait! Where is your cast as well?” Mimikyu shook their head in confusion. Had they portal ahead in time again? How far?

Then they heard the young one try to say their species and the cuteness of it caused them to relax. “I guess I have missed loads eh?” They shook the bag of treats they had with them. “Want to catch up?”

(Askluckystravels) Isaiah: So what’s with this map on the wall here?

“Wait! What? How did you get into here?” The little Mimiyku explained in shock, “This is my safe space, you shouldn’t…” They sighed. Shaking their head and assuming it the Unown opening more portals where they should not. It is not the strangers’ fault, so it was unfair to be mad.

They looked back over at the map. “This? It leads to an exciting hidden treasure!” They lied. “Nar, not really. I’m not sure where it leads. It was here when I found this spot. And well…” They scratched their head, “It isn’t exactly the most detailed map. Funny enough I’ve not seen blue mountains yet when exploring so it could be somewhere out there. This dimension doesn’t appear to have an outer limit. Only a core from which everything else goes outwards.”

“Oh no!” Mimikyu thought, “It is a baby!” They took a few steps back, “I don’t know how to handle kids. What am I supposed to do?” They glanced around hoping to spot something to help them. There was nothing. What if they scared it? What if they caused it to cry? What if it was dangerous? Mimikyu gripped their head in frustration, they had no idea what to expect or how to behave.

“Oh no it is coming closer!” They panicked, stepping back a bit further. No, they had to do this. They wracked their brain for an answer. Then it hit them. The Unown had taught them a universal greeting that could help in any situation. They could use that. It was universal right? So even a kid should know it and know they did not mean any harm. It was worth a shot.

Mimikyu cleared their throat and hoped this would work.

“Bah-weep-Graaaaagnah wheep ni ni bong.”

“Oh, hello Miss. It has been a while since I last saw you.” The Little Mimikyu looked up to the Deoxy. “I’m doing just fine.” They said as the squished their cheeks up in a fake attempt to seem happier. “Look, no problems at all...” But they couldn’t hold it and they quickly lost the energy and slumped down.

“No. Truth is I am feeling off.” They admitted, “I think I got into a fight. I’m not sure. I don’t remember.” The anxiety in their voice came across clearly. “I’m worried I hurt them and I don’t know what to do?”
