[Text:} As of right now, the X-Men are merged with H.A.M.M.E.R.'s Avengers. If you want to use your powers as a superhero, you must register with H.A.M.M.E.R. Any mutants who want to live quiet lives are allowed to protect their identities. Anyone associated with the School does NOT need to register at all, but tabs will be kept on the School. But remember - we are still X-Men, and we still stand together. We will not tolerate injustice from H.A.M.M.E.R.
[text] Kitty you know I have stood next to you through worse then this. I respect your decision and will not do anything that would bring harm to the school or children. But for all we have done does not something seem a bit off? Even with why we are requested to do so? I will stay with the school and as an X-men for you made it where we do not have to register but still something is amiss.Â
"It is not to late for coffe ja?"
"Ah but as late as it is. But was can I say us from Deutschland love beer."
"Coffee doesn’t have a specific time that you’re only allowed to enjoy it." She wrinkled her nose. "I’m not such a fan of alcohol, German brewing or not."
"Hm then you have no taste." He stated simply tail giving a flick behind him out of the illusion. "It is like saying Errol Flyn movies are not gute."
"Which if you say that and mean it, means we may have a problem frualein."
"It is not to late for coffe ja?"
"Well..maybe but never to late for beer."
"Its never too late for coffee, ever.”
"Ah but as late as it is. But was can I say us from Deutschland love beer."
"It is not to late for coffe ja?"
"Well..maybe but never to late for beer."
"So.."
The elf gives a small cough and shakes his head at the other much larger mutant. “I.. could never stop fighting for was I believe in. Not after how Xavier saved me. I owe him that much. Do keep me up on things ja? As long as I am alive I will fight till mein dying breath for was I believe in. Our world will not be like others and if you need help with diplomatic matters I am always willing to help where I can.” Clapping his back he pulled away to slick fingers through his hair. “Why can we just simply not be left to peace for all we want is the best for our children.”
"That is what makes you a hero and an X-Man. I understand the duty you feel towards all mutants." Beast embraced Nightcrawler. "I will stay in contact and be sure to ask for your assistance should we require it." Hank sighed and looked at Kurt’s saddened face. "I too wish that were the case. Our students represent the future of humankind, mutant or otherwise. They are the chance for acceptance and equality that we strive for everyday."
"Ah you flatter me mein fruend." Clapping at the mans back he shook his head always nearly dwarfed by the larger blue mutant. "I just wish we had more of our gute team members around. I have not seen Logan in weeks, then there is Ororo..Racheal..Scott." Sighing he shook his head. "For us to strive and survive we need our comrade and our fruends to watch out back. Even Gambit would not leave us high and dry in times like this."
"It is rather unfortunate. Our numbers have somewhat dwindled as of late." Hank sighed heavily and turned a caring gaze to his elf-eared companion. "At the very least some of us remain. You and I. Bobby, Betsy, Kitty, and Ann Marie. They are the ones we will keep in close proximity."
"Hm ja but I do miss Remy and Logan. Not to mention Pitor." Shaking his head he managed a smile. "Ah but I am sure we will run across them again in time ja?"
Just a little Nightcrawler doodle.
"So.."
"I wouldn’t ask you to go against your beliefs. If registration is not an option for you, then I understand. And even if you feel that you cannot work under the conditions as a super powered civilian, then by all means, go with what you feel is right. Good luck, my friend."
"Hank, you and I both have seen was happens when we register. Just because some want us to and forcefully by the sound of it does not make it right. If we register as hero’s their is a chance of them wishing us to start registering mutants and is that not one of the key things we as X-men stand against? I do not believe they should force us to do such a thing when all we ever do is protect and help. Mein students will be protected for I will not simply abandon them, but neither will I do was is seemingly being demanded of me when I have not been given proper reason to. Danke Hank. I just hope that we, even if you do agree with them, can still be fruends."
"I agree that no one should be forced to register, especially not us mutants. Currently, I am working to make sure that this is possible. Our students will not be numbered and filed. I am willing to abandon the hero game in order to be exclusively a teacher and scientist. Or alternatively, I will keep an eye on Osborn’s operation from the inside and be part of his Avengers." He sighs. "But of course. Whatever decision I come to, you will always be my friend." Henry smiles and wraps an arm around Kurt.Â

"If it is about was is going on you should know where I stand Bobby. I believe registration of any kind is wrong. The fact they use children against us just shows that they do not seem to wish for…proper peace."
"If only it was just about that, Kurt. If only. I got myself into a big bunch of trouble because I’m an idiot like always and now I have to hide myself in case those H.A.M.M.E.R. guys see me, arrest me and lock me away for the rest of my life or worse."
"Bobby you and I both know I and a few others would not let them harm you simply because you were doing as your job entails which is making sure the students, yourself and others are safe." He gave him a friendly smirk though. "But if it was for running your mourh then Gott save you, for that we can not help much on, ja?"
The Enemy of My Enemy, Is My Friend || Kitty, Kurt, Rogue, Steve, Hank
Thankful to be inside, Steve adjusted the shield strapped to his back, and respectfully followed Kitty to her office, where he waited to be invited to sit before doing so. “Thank you for agreeing to speak to me, Ms. Pryde, As you know-” Steve paused as the lights flickered and cut out over their heads, and the bug  shorted out, buzzing uselessly behind his ear.Â
Before Steve could say anything, he door to the office opened suddenly and Rogue stepped in with a candle  and the captain’s face broke into a grin. Of course Rogue had known. With a sigh of relief, the captain retrieved the now dead device from his ear and set it on the table. “I believe we can chalk that up to a simple coincidence.”Â
Although, now, free of prying ears, Steve’s face grew solemn as he faced Rogue and Kitty. “I’m sure, by now you’ve both been approached by Osborn, to negotiate what his terms mean for the X-Men, and for the Jean Grey school.” Steve paused for a moment, “Whatever he has said, no matter how reasonable he seems, Osborn is a power-hungry criminal….” The captain looked between the two for a moment, whether he could truly trust the X-Men. But, in reality, he really had no choice. “I know, that SHIELD has not been fair to mutants in the past, and I know, that the Avengers have let you down many times…” The captain’s guilt was evident, but he held their gaze. “Time and time again, the X-Men have proven themselves to be brave and honorable, and worthy of more recognition than I could possibly give you….and….” Steve paused once more….”I need to know if I can count on the X-Men for their support, and their help, if worst comes to worst..”
Kitty felt a pang of anger at the captain. It was just like him to only express his gratitude towards the X-Men when he had no one else to turn to. But the feeling faded quickly - she mostly felt sorry for him. The Avengers had been disbanded, and it was on his shoulders to be a beacon of hope to anyone who still believed in him. Kitty smiled, warmly this time.
"Captain, we still haven’t decided if we want to go along with Osborn’s proposition of mutant registration, but even if we do, we would never trust H.A.M.M.E.R. I want to see the old S.H.I.E.L.D. and Avengers back as much as you do. I have responsibilities and loyalties to my school and team, but I’ll always be here if you need my help. Do you have anything to add, Rogue?"
How much of this had been planned? When Rogue had heard from Thor that Steve had surrendered to Osborn, they had both been under the impression that Steve had given up. That he really didn’t have faith in himself. But instead, here he was with access to the school, acting much like a spy. Rogue was surprised. For all the time she’d known Steve, he’d never been much for that area. But desperate times called for desperate measures, people say.
She’d have asked about this, but she knew they didn’t have much time. While Steve had his own set of morals, they’d agree on this point. Hopefully. Rogue agreed with what Kitty said, and nodded. “It’s true, we haven’t decided,” she confirmed. “From what he says, the students don’t need ta be registered. That don’t mean the soldiers are gonna stop attackin’ our students. Or that he’s even tellin’ the truth. She paused, and raised an eyebrow. “Ya made me an Avenger, Steve,” she said. “Ah’m an Avenger an’ an X-Man. But now that the Avengers’re disbanded, what’s your plan? Why’re ya workin’ for Osborn?”
Beast rushed back to Westchester posthaste when he received the text from Kitty regarding Captain America’s sudden appearance at the school. Fortunately Kurt was able to accommodate him with a quick teleport. He had been shocked to hear that Steve surrendered to Osborn. His time working with the hero on the Secret Avengers had left him with the impression that Rogers was an honourable man. The Avenger’s current motives were uncertain at best.Â
Hank walked hurriedly into Kitty Pryde’s office just as Rogue asked her final questions. Closing the door behind him and turning to face everyone, he smoothed his blazer. “I apologize for my lateness. Please, continue.” He helped Nightcrawler into a seat, then stood behind the chair Rogue sat in.Â
After the text from Kitty Kurt was doing as he always did. Arriving unannounced in a black and violet sulfur cloud in the top corner of Kitty's office he clung to the wall staring down at everyone alraedy in the room. Seemed he was not the only late one bright eyes darting to Hank as he shifted down from the wall and strolled over hands going to smooth at his button up.
"As meine fruend said, I as well apologize for mein lateness but navigating through students can always be a difficulty." Even more so since he was a teacher and no matter who said what nothing would change how he felt or what he did. Hands going to stuff in his pockets his spaded tail flicked behind his eyes as he looked over to Steve unsure of is he was a friend.
Kurt, it's Kitty. If you're able to, I need you to meet me in my office at the school. I have Steve Rogers here and I think he's on our side.
[text to Kitty] Is there really an our side at the moment?
Doooo ittt
"Ja Bobby you forget who you are talking to ja?"
"Me not knowing is more of a problem then me knowing. Or do I need to start teleporting you around the school?"
"Don’t take me back to the school, OK? I’m in a lot of trouble and it’ll get worse if I go back there."
"If it is about was is going on you should know where I stand Bobby. I believe registration of any kind is wrong. The fact they use children against us just shows that they do not seem to wish for...proper peace."
"So.."
"From was I can tell, I am going to be labeled as a reneged hero again and be wanted dead…Great this is how I wanted to spend mein life when I came back from dying…"
"I know it’s a lot to ask, but please take care of the students, Kurt. I don’t know if I’ll be around the school for much longer. I may need to go underground for the time being."
"Hank, mein fruend I will not register in any sense of the word nor will I work with those who kill. As much as I will always put mein life on the line to protect the students I do not think was I believe and will not do works with Hammer from the sound of it so I may… not have a choice but to hide myself."

The Color of Blood (pre-HAMMER)
The elf had a problem, he was dying slowly. The other one was being a mutant not many places would take him. Even more so with such a physical mutation. It was something he dealt with daily and could take in stride most days. But, bleeding on the ground and now on another did not help him one bit. Tail gave the smallest of flicks to curl around the others waist a habit he held for many years when flying and being carried or even picked up in general for most of his friends were taller then his small lithe stature. To the east though held salvation for him. Churches often times had their own care facilities to help the poor and downtrodden. Many times when he was once a priest he would work in such places with out his illusion up for he saw no real reason to hide some days. Others he did just for an ounce of normality and the peace that came with not being ridiculed.
Seemed the old woman had the right idea for soon enough there was an old worn down church that would at least get the blue furry elf back in good enough shape to go somewhere else. For him it would have been the institute where someone could properly patch him up. But, for not being able to talk or tell the man helping him where to go it was the best option available.
Fandral glanced down as the man’s tail wrapped around the warrior’s waist. He took that as a good sign that the man was conscious enough to know he was being helped, that someone was trying his best to prevent his soul going to Valhalla too soon. “Do not worry, friend. We shall get you mended soon enough,” he said softly as he strode along the sidewalk.
Fandral was sure that the Midgardian healers would be found in a large building with a red cross on it. As he headed in the direction that the old woman had pointed him in, he saw no sign of such a building. He was beginning to despair that perhaps the old woman had steered him wrong, when the dying man’s tail twitched ever so slightly. So slightly that Fandral nearly dismissed it as an involuntary movement. But it coincided with Fandral passing one of the buildings some Midgardians used for worship. “Is this it?” He asked the man, knowing that his question wouldn’t be answered by the man he held in his arms.
Fandral paused, considering his options: keeping walking in search of the healers or go inside the holy space and ask for help there. In the back of his mind, a memory stirred of ministers who preached acceptance for all. Perhaps one of the ministers of this holy place believed in that too and would help the man without prejudice.
Fandral turned and walked up to the doors and kicked it open. As he walked over the threshold of the building, a man wearing all black save for a white collar came rushing towards him. “Help him,” Fandral pleaded. The man, who Fandral assumed to be the minister of this place, nodded and motioned for Fandral to follow him. They rushed into a small room which contained a table on which Fandral laid the man. The minister pulled out a box filled with various bandages and salves and started to examine the extent of the man’s injuries.
The elf was properly taken care of, or at least as best as they could. But, he had worse in all his years of being a hero of sorts. Some hours later, after they patched up the various stab wounds and the rather bad knock to the head, he was leaning up on his elbows palming at his eye confused by where he was. Eyes fluttered as he tried to think through his previous day not to sure where the man was who saved him. A hand went to press to his side where he knew a rather bad wound was rather surprised by the quality of the stitches. But what impressed him all the more was how someone took the time to carry him all the way to a church.
Looking around for the father or a nun he simply slid off the table barely able to catch himself before his knees gave and he hit the floor with a sickening grunt and the crack of his knees. "H-hallo?" His voice trembled not to sure if he was saved or if he was just going to get a second round of torture.
