some general info from a friend who knows Centrelink-heads up for you/partners/loved ones re CENTRELINK options if having to self isolate or unable to work because there are no shifts etc. 1. If you have a job to return to including self employment apply for Sickness Allowance - at this stage you can claim without a medical certificate until 19/3/20 if self isolating. 2. If you do not have a job to return to - apply for New Start Or Youth Allowance jobseeker It's all in flux at the moment - the best thing to do if your income is at risk is register for payment via: Www.servicesaustralia.gov.au Unfortunately I'm not an expert in this field but this is the best general advice to get out there.
