I try not to get overly mad about the capitalistic shit show that was season five but WHY THE FUCK did we not get ANYONE ELSE except for Lucas actively grieving Max? Do you know what I would have given to see Dustin break down in Steveβs arms because TWO of his best friends were gone? Or Will practice on a dusty skateboard, do a trick, look behind him beaming only to see a vacant space where Max once was? Or watch Mike sob alone in the dark, dreadful hours of the night because he hasnt let himself grieve her properly, so he has to do it when no one can see? Or EL! Watch as El turns to laugh with a best friend that isnt there, throw on dull clothes because sheβs outgrown the ones she bought with max, scream and scream and scream as a room is ripped to shreds as she remembers for the millionth time that she couldnβt save her best friend? Do you, duffers? DO YOU? Fuck this shit and fuck the duffers
It really bugs my brain that the duffers added the first five minutes of season 5 purely for shock factor. They shouldnβt have added a scene if they werenβt going to touch on Willβs sa trauma from it in the future
That's exactly what pisses me off so badly. Absolutely nothing would have changed if they didn't show this; they don't have respect for Will or the narrative or the audience
I had a dream last night about Sadie Sinkβs character in Spider-Man. Basically, a lot of chaos happens and every time a new thing happened, Peter would see the same person fleeing from the scene. He could only see the jacket every time though. Until one day, when something exploded and she couldnβt run away fast enough. Peter caught up to her and when she turned around he was really confused because he was expecting it to be someone he knew but he had never seen this girl in his life.
I just remember it looked really cool. She was surrounded by fire and her hair was wet and she looked amazingggg. I didnβt explain it the best but I just wanted to share π
I kinda drew Lucas, max and Jane in the background but blurred it out. This was literally just me experimenting with brushes but it turned into this and Iβm not complaining. This is also like my first ever pride art. Idk why I never drew anything for pride month before.
This is what I imagine they would look like in college lol and i gave max glasses and clouded eyes cuz realistically she wouldn't have recovered fully from the attack so i headcanon her as atleast partially blind!
