I know Eohippus means Dawn Horse in Greek, but coincidentally, Eoh also means Horse in Old English (originally, before it was replaced by Hors) so Eohippus could also means Horse Horse.

Steller's jay saw blade! Copper eye and cutout by my partner @echomary and painting by me. The patterns on the feathers are made by using a thrifted doily for a stencil.
This one sold at FC, but stay tuned for more saw birds!
Bird courtship is a fun thing to watch, and one thing I like the best is to see the male feeding the female because as a human, it looks like a kiss. This is to strengthen their bond and ensure a successful breeding season. And it is flipping adorable. Cardis in lurve!
Fuck Meyer-Briggs whatever typology. This INTFP shit is only for redditors up their own asses to substitute for a personality. Use my new typology instead!

thinking about what is and what isn't allowed in frame with reference ecosystems in prairie restoration
Explanation from OP in the replies
restoration ecology tends to want to restore to a past state of an ecosystem, but magically that past state never involved people! Harvest, reciprocity, etc are all ignored because we pretend there's such a thing as prairie without people. Turns out, that imagined prairie never existed, there were always people here and there should people involved in restored prairie too!
