The glorious city of Hamilton
Hello earthlings,
I would like to take a moment to introduce myself to you all. My name is the Green Being. I have arisen from the Earth to inform those of you in Hamilton and around the globe about the various issues that are facing our environment. Along the way I will be highlighting issues, people and businesses that are prominent environmentally.
The first thing that I would like to highlight is the city of Hamilton. Many of you live here, but how many really know what is going on in the city from an environmental perspective. Here's a link to the city's website on initiatives they are taking to make our city a more environmentally friendly place:

Hamilton also is trying to build a stronger sense of community and has burgeoning areas on James Street North and Locke Street that are being recognized for their local shops and emphasis on community participation. Many of you I'm sure are going to be attending the Locke Street Festival and SuperCrawl on James Street North this weekend. For more information on Hamilton area events, businesses and general happenings checkout http://www.myhamilton.ca/
How can we mention Hamilton in the fall and not give a strong recognition to McMaster University, Mohawk College and other post-secondary education facilities. These facilities are where burgeoning young adults can gain a better education to meet the environmental challenges that are going to exist in the future.
For more links on the Hamilton area make sure you "like" the Green Being on Facebook and follow us on Twitter @thegreenbeing.
Until tomorrow my friends!
