He calls, the giant man grabs him with one hand and sets him back down on the rock. "But see, I told you I didn't need my legs to swim."

“I’m impressed.” Meera admitted. “But you aren’t a strong enough swimmer to get to Greywater.” She told him as she walked over to her young Prince. Using the Reed-green cloak she wore she started to dry Bran’s hair. “You should be more careful around water. While I’m very glad you can swim, what if you fall into deep water and drown? I know Jojen and I would be heartbroken if you drowned.”

He’s had dreams like that before - the night his father died -and the wolf dreams. They’re different but they can still be frightening. “He won’t fight it?” Bran frowns “But he should, it doesn’t have to be the worst thing ever to happen - maybe he’s supposed to help others to live instead of just knowing their deaths.” 

“I agree entirely.” Meera told him, finally giving up on his hair. She wouldn’t get far without a brush. “But Jojen...my sweet, foolish, little brother is convinced that what he dreams is set in stone and can’t be changed.” Meera sighed and shook her head. “Why can’t he see that he’s wrong?” She asked no one in particular. “I don’t believe in fate anyway. We make our own path in life!”
