hi everyone! first off, we want to thank you all for your patience, and apologies for the quiet on our end these past few days—we took the time to sit with things and figure out the best decision for the group. while we’ve still been around handling the occasional follow and update, we know we’ve been a little quiet otherwise.

after a lot of thought, the admin team has decided to step away from fiorire/the grove.

this means we won’t be running any more events or maintaining an active admin presence moving forward. this wasn’t an easy decision, but with declining activity, limited room to progress the plot, and a lack of muse for the group on our end, it felt like the right time to close this chapter.

this group has been around for such a long time. it’s genuinely amazing that it lasted as long as it did, and we’ve been able to do so much because of it: host events, build out new settings, and try creative plot experiments. we’re especially grateful to everyone who participated in events, helped keep the timeline moving, and supported us during the admin transition last year. however, because it did last so long, there’s only so much left to go with both plot and muse development. naturally, we’ve hit a plateau.

we know this probably doesn’t come as a shock, but if you have any questions or want to reach out, feel free to message us.

on a pivotal note: while we may not have muse for fiorire/the grove specifically anymore, a few admins (separate from the original admin team) still have muse for rp in general and have branched off to launch a new group for anyone who doesn’t want to quit rp just yet. so if you’re looking to start something fresh, it’ll be just as interactive and fun, with room to build out characters and plots like always. you can check it out here: @ardenapts

i’m confused as to why some of the apps in the residents page is different than the blank app?

hi there! answering real quick since i saw this come in - our current plot was a temporary fun change for summer that came with new jobs, locations, and therefore a new relevant app. we didn’t make current residents re-apply or change their app unless they wanted to in order to make the switch easier (and realistically, the main contents of the app are what matter to us, not the rest)! :)
