I was invested in Supernatural for many years but have been off the wagon for a few seasons now out of boredom. Still, the show still holds a special place in my heart, especially its early seasons. It left an impact on my life, and I admire the actors so very much. To see how it all ended is extremely disappointing and has me a little emotional. It didn't deserve that. Its fans didn't deserve that. The actors that have been on for years didn't deserve that. None of the writing makes sense at all, Sam and Dean were meant to always keep fighting, never to give up. To save people.. (They should have fought to save Castiel!) And they should have been by each others side until the very end. I think they could have both had something of an "apple pie" life in the end. I imagine they'd train others to take on the family business as they got older. I dunno, but that ending could have been so much better... I remember season 5 ending like it was yesterday and I hated the idea of it going out that way. But I'd take that over this, any day...
