(A golden fluff ball gently rolls on Fyodor’s desk while he was studying, having arrived here with a faint magic trace. Usually curled up like an actual fluff ball, this is actually a plushie version of Magister Fox. Standing up and looking around, she spots the young man himself, letting out a soft “Weh!” out of curiosity, but with the volume lowered so she wouldn’t disturb him too much. New friend!

And of course, this little thingy gives off warmth upon physical contact.)

"Aww, you make 'Weh' noises just like Mini-Papa!" The young Magister gushes as he picks Mini-Fox up into his hands. Admiring the plushie and how fluffy she is, humming in delighted surprise upon feeling her warmth. Prompting Fyodor to hug her close to his chest, where she can hear his heart thumping.

"Weh! Weh!" Mini-Fox arf's at him, eyes glimmering merrily as he let's out a soft laugh, "Nice to meet you too! You know, I'm glad to have you here. Don't tell Mini-Papa I said that, he'll get jealous!" He jests before letting out a sigh. Leaning back against his chair, he begins caressing Mini-Fox's hair. Eliciting little "Mrr's" that soothed the nerves he didn't realise were there.

"Your presence may be unexpected, but it's not unwelcome. I'm thankful you're here actually, I've been feeling quite anxious about returning to the Lyceum for the court mage selections. I feel like there's more to worry about than just preparing for the exam, like I'd have to brace myself for something.. foreboding." He shudders a breath, subconsciously hugging Mini-Fox tighter. "But being with you right now, it's comforting. I feel like nothing too bad will happen while you're here.. you must have an owner already and I'm sure they'll come looking for you though you don't look to be in a hurry."

He would end up mumbling away to himself and the plushie version of Magister Fox, basking in this moment of peace. Knowing he'd have to savor it before the next journey ahead. If he's allowed.. perhaps his new furry friend can tag along and give him moral support.

*It must have happened in one of those strange moment when Fox fought against the powers of Hypnos trying to seduce her into his realm. Just when reality seems to blur a tad too much. For she could not at all remember "when" this creature had appeared and messed with her hair. But right now... she stared at a miniature version of a vague familiar person, which had just emerged from the depths of her hair and now slowly worms away on the countertop of the Noble Taverns bar.*

A knock on the doorframe of the Mystical House entrance sounded as a soft voice called out.

"Hello? Is anyone around?"

A white haired woman went inside with little hesitance, glasz eyes looking around the interiors.

When her gaze found Lisin, they softened as she carried a basket of sunflowers, carnations, sapphirines and lastly, and cherishly, forget-me-nots.

"Hello. Magister Lisin, correct? Forgive me for my intrusion but I heard that you might love some flowers."

She gave a short bow of the head out of respect. "I am Magister Bellarose. A Merlin of my own timeline, to say the least."

"Glory to the Queen. My apologies for the intrusion, but I'm here by order of @high-priestess-velara. We seek a thief of ancient texts. Do you know of one of your kin who may commit such a sin?"

The Kind Guard appears surprised. The magic glow flickers for a moment.

"May the Queen bless your goodness, Toplander. But how can you tell my time is short to address this?"
