What is a Big Bang?
A mass-collaborative event, where writers and artists team up to have fun and create. We are doing the "traditional" version, where writers sign up first and write something, and artists sign up later to create a piece that matches.
What is a pinch-hitter?
Sometimes a writer or artist cannot complete their work, or the numbers don't match up, and someone needs to step in. Be aware that you might be creating things on VERY short notice.
Who can participate?
Anyone! Regardless of skill or age, everyone is welcome. The only condition is that you must have a tumblr account.
Can I be both a writer and an artist?
Yes, but be aware you will be doing a lot of work. You cannot be matched with yourself.
What if I can't finish in time?
Let me know! The deadlines are more progress markers than anything definite, take your time. I just need to know for logistic reasons.
Where can I sign up?
Writer sign-ups will be up by the end of the day, the link will appear here. Artist sign ups do not open until the halfway mark for writers. Pinch-hitters can sign up at any point, there will be an option on each form.

You have three months to complete your fic. Check-ins will be every two weeks.
Aim for at least 1k to give the artists plenty to work with, but it's fine if that is not a feasible goal.
Respond to every check-in. It's ok to not have met the guidelines, but you must respond.
Notify the blog if you are unable to complete your work or will be late. It's ok, but I need to know!

I’m going through my drafts and found these old experiments with Jojo and Simon from like 3 years ago and surprisingly they still looked decent, just needed a bit of editing
THM has ~plucky fantasy kids cartoon that got cancelled after 3 seasons even though there were 5 planned and the fans made a petition to keep it going but were 50 signatures short so it didn’t happen and the only reason you know about it is because you saw it on a TV at some restaurant a year after it aired and you googled it when you got home because it looked cute and then you find out they spent a good chunk of the budget on hiring a famous actor to voice a background character in season 2 with six lines and also that the main character is played by someone whose last acting job was on Disney channel in 2012~ energy
