THEORY: NESSIAN MATING IS CONFIRMED, HEAR ME OUT

Anyways, this is the excerpt that struck me most.
Nesta had known. She gaped up at me, terror and agony on her face, then scanned the sky for Cassian, who flapped in place, as if torn between coming for us and charging back to the scattering Illyrian and Peregryn ranks. She’d known where that blast was about to hit.
Cassian had been right in the center of it.
Or would have been, if she hadn’t called him away.

I don’t think she’s wrong at all (because my petty girl, Cauldron, over here is a petty little thing—let me tell you that).
and…I think that’s a confirmation that they’re mated.
Why would the cauldron know that Nesta cares about Cassian???
The Cauldron can’t read minds. It just can’t. We don’t ever see that happening. It can only see bonds and other Fae things like that, because it makes them. That’s why the king of Hybern thought that he could break the bond between Rhys and Feyre, because it was Cauldron made.
So, let me ask you: Why would the Cauldron try to kill Cassian to hurt Nesta? Why would it want to get him in order to hurt her? Because it wanted to take away something of equal weight of what she took from it—it wanted to take her mate.
DO YOU KNOW WHAT THAT MEANS?? A mate is so rare—no matter the fact that SJM mates people left and right—and some Fae don’t ever find them. It took Rhys 500 years to find his. It took his father about that time too, or maybe he was 800—I don’t know. But anyways, they are rare, they are incredible sacred, and losing one is one of the most unimaginable things a Fae could go through.
That leads to my next point: If losing a mate—if taking away her mate—is equal to what Nesta took from the Cauldron—Nesta is the most powerful Made being, and possibly Fae being, thus far. What she took was a piece of the creator of the world. It’s like when Aelin took a piece of Mala’s power and was all of a sudden the most powerful she had ever been—and remember she was already fcking powerful, Lorchan had even said that no Fae should ever have to bear that much power when he witnessed it, AND HE WAS PART OF THE LEGENDARY CADRE, SOME OF THE MOST POWERFUL MALES TO HAVE EVER EXISTED IN THEIR WORLD.
