Morning, Aternoon, Evening and Date
I am very grateful to be a part of the enchanted weekend event happening on @hanibanikafe. This is how the morning, afternoon, evening and a date would go while dating Kuroo. Enjoy!
The morning sun shone through your window, lighting up your room for you. You didn’t know why but the winter sun always seemed so much prettier to you. Blindly reaching over, you feel over the objects laying on your bedside table to try to find your phone and you switch it on, light hurting your morning eyes.
You see a message from Kuroo saying Good morning baby he was always awake before you to go to morning practice and you tap on your phone to reply before getting out of bed to get ready for school.
The bell rings signaling lunch time and you see Kuroo waiting for you outside your classroom. You two don’t spend every lunch together, but every time you do you are always reminded of how much he cares.
You two make your way to the cafeteria in search of warmth as the cold biting against your skin was giving you goosebumps. You thought you wouldn’t need your jacket today but clearly the weather had other plans so you had to borrow Kuroo’s spare jersey.
Whilst you were eating and talking with Kuroo, your friends on the other table wouldn’t want to stop embarrassing you by “ooh”ing at you two. You couldn’t help but feel embarrassed and annoyed at how well Kuroo managed to ignore it. He keeps hitting you with the “oh, how can you let that get to you” “they barely even did anything” and the only thing that did was make you more embarrassed.
You were sitting at home when you felt your phone vibrating beside you. Picking it up, you see that you are getting facetime from Kuroo and you pick it up without hesitation. You see him lying in bed looking sleepy.
“Why did you call me if you are so tired?” you question him as he yawned at his phone.
“I wanted your pretty face to be the last thing I saw before I went to sleep.” he says in his tired voice. “You made it seem like you are about to die or something” you retorted at his failed attempt at flustering you.
Many of your days ended like this, with you and Kuroo talking your way to sleep and whoever fell asleep last would end the call. This time it was quite obviously Kuroo who slept first, he had stayed up the night before to finish a school project and had a really intense match today.
You took one final look at his sleeping self before whispering a quite good night and ending the call, so you could get some sleep as well.
The sweat glistening on Kuroo’s face dripped onto the floor as the final whistle blew. You let out the breath that you were holding as Nekoma finally got 2 points ahead to win the last set. The deuce was intense, none of the two teams allowing the ball to fall on their side of the court.
The crowd erupted in loud cheers congratulating the winning team, taken aback by both teams’ determination. However, your voice was the only one Kuroo could hear as you shouted with the crowd towards him and his team and couldn’t help but feel prideful in that moment.
At this point you were used to the usual process that occurred after a match; they would bow to each other, bow to the crowd, have a small chat with their coach and then head to the changing room to get ready. Therefore, you make your way outside and sit on the bench casually on your phone until they make their way outside.
“Guess who?” you hear a voice behind you say as a pair of hands cover your eyes, “hmmm, i have no idea. I wonder who this could be? Maybe a kidnapper?”
“You really just called me a kidnapper?” he says while uncovering your eyes. You giggle, grabbing his hand and dragging him along but he stops you and pulls you in the opposite direction. “Let's go out” he says and you can't help but feel the same butterflies in your stomach that you felt on your first date.
He takes you to a small cafe nearby the stadium he was just playing at since the coach said he has to be back in an hour. You entered hearing the jingle of the bell by the top of the door to signal to the workers that a customer has arrived.
You sit by the window getting a pretty view of the sunset with Kuroo sitting opposite you. You order a hot drink with a small cake, it was freezing out anyways, while Kuroo orders a simple drink.
You two spend the time talking, laughing and teasing each other. When it is almost time to leave Kuroo looks up at you with huge fondness in his eyes. “You know, I really love you.”
“Of Course you do, and I love you too”. He smiles at you, “Of course you do”.
