The role play community disgusts me now...

...before you get all huffy and agro, I’ve been in the role play community since 2005 so just sit down, shut up, and listen for a minute.

Roleplayer.me is a community site much set up like the old myspace layout [you know, from back in the day] and it’s very very simple to manage and work with. You can do just about everything from uploading pictures to finding resource accounts for a layout or even some premades/graphics.

Then, you got what I like to call ‘role fakers’ [RF]. These are the people that make an account, say it’s for a canon character from a tv show or movie; they have everything from pictures to connections already all set up and they look so good.

So good that when you talk to them, you suddenly get hit with vulgar words, rude assumptions, attacks of disapproval, and just strait up being ignored.

RF’s are more commonly know as ‘Number Hoarders’ because they create profiles and put ALL this work into their account just to collect people like trading cards.

The moral of this is, the role play community has gone to shit over the years and is being over taken by rude ignorant people that could care less about the actual meaning of role play and what it is as a community.

Sad to say, I may drop this ‘hobby’ of mine for good.

Steam Powered Giraffe’s brand new website is now live!

Now the website is much easier to navigate, no matter if you’re on a desktop or a mobile device!
