Our homemade apple cider vinegar is coming along famously, couldn't have predicted it would be this easy!! I'll be using this wonderful liquid to extract my springtime roots next year. #dandelion #burdock & #oregongrape among others. Vinegar extractions draw out all the amazing minerals/vitamins, & aren't necessarily as effective for resins & polysaccharides. See that white layer on the top of the apples on the left? That's the beautiful vinegar culture, it appears every week & then I stir it right back in. 👊☀️🌿👏 My amazing fiancé and his papa spent most of the day building the first portion of our cinder block two foot raised beds for our climate battery powered greenhouse. We have lots of herbs and veggies ready to be planted in these beds, to hopefully have food and medicine even in the freezing cold Rocky Mtn winters! This has been our dream project and it's finally happening. Wild Forest will be doing demo classes and herb and nutrition consults in this beautiful structure in the not so distant future. Imagine that! A holistic health appointment inside a real "living" room, surrounded by medicine and painted in sunlight!! (at Wild Forest Farm)
