When the plumber broke the specialty Ikea aerator of the faucet and left me to switch those out (props to Ikea for providing free parts/replacement parts indefinitely and for shipping them), I was left with a faucet that sprayed EVERYWHERE in the kitchen. Sure, most of the water went down, but at least a quarter went horizontally in all directions. This faucet would make a good sprinkler for fire suppression.
So what is a gal who just needs to make it work in the temporary times to do?
#jengineer! And I did. I used a few clever plastic bottle developing-nation hacks to inspire this faucet extender/spray container/broken-aerator-unworstener and now all the water that comes from the faucet goes down into the sink.
Winning? I think so!
