But those who believe and do righteous deeds - We will admit them to gardens beneath which rivers flow, wherein they abide forever. For them therein are purified spouses, and We will admit them to deepening shade.

Quran 4 : 57
this man took the words right out of my mouth. sheikh abdulnasir - for a few minutes - discusses the importance of respecting allah and to not joke about allah. i think this is really important to watch (because ive been seeing a few sarcastic reblogs lately) and so inshallah you take a few minutes to watch this.
In 1400 years, Civilizations fell, Disasters happened, Continents moved and People died. But one thing never changed, The words of the Qur’an…!
Alhamdulilah (Thank You Allah) :)
Rasul Allah (sal Allahu alaihi wa sallam) said: “Among the Salat (prayers) there is one Salat (prayer), whoever misses it, it is as if he were deprived of his family and his wealth.”
Sahih Muslim
You people do (bad) deeds (commit sins) which seem in your eyes as tiny (minute) than hair while we used to consider those (very deeds) during the life-time of the Prophet as destructive sins.
Anas ibn Malik
You build that which you will not live in; you work and work and you die in them. You gather up that which you will not consume and you have hopes which you will never have. The people before you got deceived by the dunya so they gathered up homes and wealth…and all it did was take them away from the akhira.
Abu Ad-Darda'
A sin from which we have not repented or that which we continue engaging in without any intention of giving up has many negative effects. It makes us disinterested in benefitting from any religious or spiritual programs. It causes physical, emotional & mental ailments & stress. It disallows us from distinguishing right from wrong, good from bad, permissible from prohibited. It results in loss of enjoyment & concentration in prayer. It makes us befriend our enemies & consider our true friends as enemies. It finally causes arrogance that makes us think we do not need to leave the sin because the Almighty is Most Forgiving. The Almighty says some become similar to those affected to the degree of insanity by the touch of the devil. May we never be from those who cannot give up a sin!
Mufti Ismail Menk
The best inheritance a father can leave his children is a good example.

Many of us sin, but what's important is that we repent for our sins. We often think that we will repent later on in life, however, the truth is, it's important to repent now before we die. Make the intention to turn back now, right now! Abu Huraira narrated, "He who seeks repentance (from the Lord) before the rising of the sun from the west (before the Day of Resurrection), Allah turns to him with Mercy." [Muslim].
Prophet Muhammad (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam). said: “A space in Paradise equivalent to the size of a foot would be better than the world and what is in it.”
Important advice about our five daily prayers (Salaat)
Allah(Swt) says in the Glorious Quran: "Recite (O Muhammad SAW) what has been revealed to you of the Book (the Qur'ân), and perform As-Salât (Iqamât as Salât). Verily, As-Salât (the prayer) prevents from Al-Fahshâ' (i.e. great sins of every kind, unlawful sexual intercourse, etc.) and Al-Munkar (i.e. disbelief, polytheism, and every kind of evil wicked deed, etc.) and the remembering (praising, etc.) of (you by) Allâh (in front of the angels) is greater indeed [than your remembering (praising, etc.) Allâh in prayers, etc.]. And Allâh knows what you do." [Quran - 29:45] It is narrated on the authority of Jabir that he heard the Apostle (may peace and blessings be upon him) saying. Verily between man and between polytheism and unbelief is the negligence of prayer. [Muslim :: Book 1 : Hadith 146 ] The Prophet said in this regard: "The first thing that will be judged among a person's deeds on the Day of Resurrection is the prayer. If that is in good order, he will pass the test and prosper, and if that is defective, he will fail the test and will be a loser. (Tirmidhi) The Prophet said," The one who does not pray has no religion. Prayer is the main pillar of the religion." (Baihaqi) May Allah keep guiding us and guide our Muslim brothers and sisters who have abundened prayers. Amin.
Al-Taharah (Cleanliness is half of Faith)
[Sahih Muslim : Book 2 'Al-Taharah', Number 0432]
Abu Malik at-Ash'ari Radi Allah Anhu) reported: The Messenger of Allah (sal-allahu-alleihi-wasallam) said: Cleanliness is half of faith and al-Hamdu Liliah (Praise be to Allah) fills the scale, and Subhan Allah (Glory be to Allah) and al-Hamdu Liliah (Praise be to Allah) fill upwhat is between the heavens and the earth, and prayer is a light, and charity is proof (of one's faith) and endurance is a brightness and the Holy Qur'an is a proof on your behalf or against you. All men go out early in the morning and sell themselves, thereby setting themselves free or destroying themselves.
[Sahih Muslim : Book 2, Book Name Kitab Al-Taharah Number 432]
Abu Malik at-Ash'ari (Radi Allah Anhu) reported: The Messenger of Allah (sal-allahu- alleihi-wasallam ) said: Cleanliness is half of faith and al-Hamdu Liliah (Praise be to Allah) fills the scale, and Subhan Allah (Glory be to Allah) and al-Hamdu Liliah (Praise be to Allah) fill upwhat is between the heavens and the earth, and prayer is a light, and charity is proof (of one's faith) and endurance is a brightness and the Holy Qur'an is a proof on your behalf or against you. All men go out early in the morning and sell themselves, thereby setting themselves free or destroying themselves.
[2. Surah Al-Baqarah : Ayah 222]
Surely Allah loves those who turn much (to Him), and He loves those who purify themselves.
My Lord! grant me that I should be grateful for Thy favor which Thou hast bestowed on me and on my parents, and that I should do good such as Thou art pleased with, and make me enter, by Thy mercy, into Thy servants, the good ones.
