some things I like about Summer, my least favorite season: growing flowers, the bees and butterflies that find the flowers, the rabbits gathering around the bird feeder, the hummingbirds fighting over the hummingbird feeder, the turkey families you cross paths with occasionally, the birdsong by day, the cricketsong by night, the fireflies, the sunlight waning being especially golden some days, and the fact that it fucking ends eventually to make way for Fall
