Michael (2026) solidifies the fact that Michael Jackson will always be considered the greatest entertainer of all time. The movie has reignited public interest in this man's career and his journey from Gary, Indiana, to Hollywood. Also, what artist today can beat the three-album run that is Off the Wall (1979), Thriller (1982), and Bad (1987)?

Odeal is a German-Nigerian musician whose work reflects a fusion of multiple genres from pop music to afro beats to R&B. Curios to see what he does with future projects now that he is around more mainstream artists. He has been in rotation all year. That’s all I gotta say about that :)
Leven Kali is quickly growing to be one of my favorite artists in the game right now. From his COLORS performance to writing for Beyonce, he has had incredible growth as a musician over the years. Highly recommend the LET IT RAIN EP released in 2022. The EP reminds me of something that would come from Teddy Pendergrass or Rick James while still managing to sound fresh… especially with the beat switch in MELTING/HAD 2. R&B is still kicking!

Been sitting with this for days. This man left such an amazing mark on the music industry and drove innovation in black music. Although he wasn’t a fan of the label “Neo-Soul,” he helped pioneer a new sound in R&B and made records that stand the test of time. Much of the music we hear today was influenced by his sound and I hope future R&B returns to him as a blueprint. Rest easy❤️

Michael Jackson’s Ghosts: longest music video made. Jackson definitely made some amazing videos to accompany his tracks. Also cool that he worked with filmmakers like Stan Winston.
