Hello there, sandbugs! The mods over here at The Killjoys Zine are proud to announce its OFFICIAL RELEASE! Thank you all for your participation and incredible talent.

A digital copy of the zine can be viewed here.

Physical copies can also be purchased. The prices were set by the printing program we used, and go directly towards the cost of printing. We are not making any profit from this zine. We are not responsible for any shipping issues.

There are two print options: saddle-stitched (with the pages stapled into the spine) or perfect bound (with the pages glued in). If you’ve ever owned a comic book, single issues are typically saddle-stitched, while volumes are usually perfect bound.

CALLING ALL ZINE ARTISTS: IS THIS YOUR ART?

To the lovely soul that submitted this piece: unfortunately, the image was submitted in a format that is not compatible with our zine-making process. Mod Kelso has attempted to get in contact with you via email, but could not get through, and you have not provided us with a social media handle. Please resubmit using the following guidelines:

For photo/art-based mediums, please send us two digital files: 72 dpi in RGB color mode and 300 dpi in CMYK color mode, and specify which is which. This aids us in the process of digital and physical publishing. The zine will be 5.5" x 8.5", so size accordingly. Files should be in psd, png, tiff, or high quality jpg format. Traditional art must be scanned. 

If you are having formatting difficulties, please email [email protected] as soon as possible for assistance! We do not want to have to exclude your piece from the zine due to this issue!

Also: to those who have requested extensions for their submissions, please submit as soon as possible!

LIGHTS OUT.

That’s it, killjoys! The submission period has officially passed. From this point forward, us here at The Killjoys Zine will be working on compiling your art to create a completed zine. We’re shooting for completion by June 16th, but the zones are unpredictable, so we’ll roll with what the world throws at us. Point is: the zine is on its way! More information to follow re: completion dates and physical copies.

Our goal is to create a zine of art, writing, cosplay, and other types of fan content honoring the killjoy ‘verse, set for release in summer 2019.
