album review:I FEEL-(G)I-DLE

I am so excited to review this comeback because it's my second time reviewing (G)I- DLE's work. i actually didn't even listen to their pre release just to prepare for this.

QUEENCARD:9/10 sooo fun. I love the wordplay and how satirical the whole thing is, the final post chorus is very girls supporting girls and i love it.

Allergy:7/10 i really like the message and the production. I'm not usually not a huge fan of kpop groups doing pop punk because it feels too over produced and polished to feel authentic, but i feel like that vibe almost fits the song perfectly because of the whole early 2000's teen film vibe of the album.

lucid:9.5/10 i love this song so much. it reminds me of their older work. I feel like this song still fits the vibe of the album well.

All night:8/10 (g)i-dle pull of this edgy early 2000s esque vibe really well. I love the part where there's no instrumental and just vocalsit adds a really nice touch.

paradise:9/10 i already like this song but i have a feeling it will grow to be my favourite song off the album, it's low key but not too ballad-y.

peter pan:8:10 chill ,i was low key expecting a ballad cuz of the name. I don't really have anything to say it's a really solid song.

I FEEL-(G)I-DLE:9/10 a really good album. definitely shows off (G)I-DLE's skills. (G)I-DLE continue to prove that they're a force to be reckoned with.

album review:le sserafim-unforgiven

i was super psyched for this because i really like le sserafim an this album is very highly anticipated.

burn the bridge:9/10 really pretty instrumental,le sserafim always have such good intro's.

unforgiven(feat:nile rogers):8/10 a vibe, a very good follow up to antifragile, the instrumental has like country influence almost?

no return (into the unknown):9/10 very fun, they do brighter this concept really well. kinda jazzy,i really like this song.

eve;pysche & the bluebeards wife:10/10 THE SONG WE'VE ALL BEEN WAITING FOR, tens across the boards.

fearnot(between you,me and the lampost):7/10 IT'S NOT BAAAD I JUST DON'T LIKE ACOUSTIC BALLADS. it's very pretty tho, their vocals are impeccable

flash foward:9/10 almost modern city pop-y, very fromis_9 coded, definitely one of those songs you play while driving around with your friends during the summer.

fire in the belly:10/10 le sserafiim do really well with latin pop instrumentals this is almost carnival-y (like Caribbean carnival not fun fair carnival).

overall:9.5/10 a solid album, le sserafim continue with their no skip discography and i'm intrigued to see what they'll do next.

album review: seventeen- 10th mini album FML

I really enjoy seventeens music and I'm definitely close to staning them so I was really looking forward to this comeback.

F*ck my life:8.5/10 very chill, reminds me of f*ck it by big bang like angsty but low key about it.

super:9/10 like angsty British club music as a British person K-pop that sounds British is my favourite genre, honestly just such a vibe.

fire:9/10 this is indescribably good, I love the autotune. the best way I can describe it is if seventeen made nct's discography.

i don't understand but i LUV U:10/10 comes out of absolutely nowhere but i love it so much. it's simultaneously both familiar and completely different from anything i've heard.

DUST:10/10 my favourite song off the album. it's like if ghosting by TXT was happier. I need this song injected directly into my bloodstream.

April shower:9.5/10 soooo good, just a vibe like a if daring and don't wanna cry had baby. anyway big fan of her.

FML(overall):9.5/10 quite different from anything I've ever heard from seventeen, but I'm definitely not complaining.

I am currently sending all my love,support and deepest condolences to Moonbin’s,fans and loved ones. The news was incredibly sudden and heartbreaking. I hope Moonbin finds peace and that everyone affected is able to grieve and heal.

album review:show Down-ALICE

I really enjoyed Alice's music before and after the rebrand so I as very excited for this comeback.

DIZZY: 8/10 very sweet,and cute.wish it changed up a little at the final chorus.

SHOW DOWN:9/10: fits spring really perfectly, i love the chorus, the final chorus was so good

show down(overall): 8.5:10 big fan of this release, the girls are so talented i really hope they get the recognition they deserve.

i really loved CLC’s music so i’m super happy Yeeun’s  continuing her career

strange way to love:8/10 very ballad-y .not really my thing but super pretty,  suits her voice really well

cherry coke:9/10 A whole bop. i really like this concept i feel like she was definitely made for this concept. 

overall:the beginning(album):8.5 i liked this album a lot. i feel like yeeun shows a lot of promise as a soloist and i hope we get to see more of her solo work in the future.

i love dreamnote’s music so i was so super excited to hear that they were coming back.

Lemonade(Title Track):8/10 super bubbly and fun. They really fit the teen crush concept

BLUE:7/10 still not a fan of ballads, but super sweet,i love their vocals so much 

Broken:9/10 my favourite song off of the album, so pretty and dreamy almost citypop.

overall:secondary page(album)8.5/10 definitely a new chapter for them. i’m looking forward to what they do next.

Album review: SELF-Apink

I’m really enjoy Apink’s music (especially their newer stuff) so I was super excited for this release.

D N D:7.5/10 really good vibes, really chill but still very danceable.their voices are so nice.

Withcha :9/10 I really like this song, it feels like if red velvet and Ariana grande had a baby.this song feels like a really pretty bright shade of pink.

Me,Myself & I:9/10 I love this sound on them it suits them soooo well. This song is such a nice balance of poppy and ballady.

Candy:9.5:10 probably my favourite song on the album, it’s somehow exactly what I expect from Apink while also being something entirely fresh and new.

I want you to be happy:6.5:10 IT’S NOT BAD LIKE AT ALL,but I don’t really like ballads, it’s me not them I swear.

Overall:Self(album):9/10 this release actually reminds a lot of their 2019 8th mini album PERCENT. Which helps because I love that mini album a lot it’s one of my favourite Apink releases second only to their 2022 album HORN. That being said I really enjoyed this album and I hope the group continue making bangers.

Album review:lovestruck-Kep1er

I was quite excited for this because the teaser looked super cool.

Giddy:9:10 cute. I love the bass in the instrumental and the switch up after the chorus made the song interesting while still keeping it cohesive. Definitely one of my favourite title tracks by them.

LVLY: 5.5:10 the instrumental is so interesting, I liked the post chorus, not really my vibe but I would definitely recommend to fans of the girl crush concept.

Back to the city:8.5:10 Retro my beloved,very bubbly it really suits them.I really like kep1er’s raps they never feel unnecessary and always suit the songs vibe.

Why:9:10 very chill and sweet, just such a vibe.it’s just super pretty.

Happy ending:10/10 my favourite song off the album, I can’t explain how much I love this song, this song sounds the way pink lemonade tastes.

Overall-lovestruck(album):9/10 I feel like kep1er have definitely found their sound and I really hope they continue making music like this in the future.

Album review:I’ve IVE-IVE

I’m quite excited for this because I’ve adored every song IVE have put out so far.

Blue blood:7/10 suits their concept, not really for me though,like I kinda find the whole song a teeny bit repetitive I just wish it had like a bridge or something to shake it up.

I AM:10/10 a whole bop very much enjoyed this song, it’s completely different from any song we’ve ever heard from them but still suits them perfectly,suits their voices really well. One of their best Title tracks.

Kitsch:5/10: My whole issue with this song is the wordplay it’s obvious that they only used kitsch because they couldn’t say bitch Because the song itself is so far away from kitsch it’s actually funny, I feel like they should have used chick/chic instead because it works better like saying 90’s chick but the title of the song could’ve been CHIC because it’s more chic than kitsch. It’s not bad though the chorus just comes out of nowhere.

Lips:8/10 just a vibe really very summery to me,very sweet.

Heroine:8/10 very chill reminds me of lips. And the chorus reminds me of nicotine by camila cabello,has the same issue as blue blood though.

Mine:8/10 it kind of feels like all the Bsides off this album so far (Besides kitsch) are just variations of each other.

Hypnosis:9/10 very similar vibe to the Bsides off of IVE’s singles in the best way.

NOT YOUR GIRL:8.5/10 comes out of absolutely nowhere but I love it. Feels like a summer comeback almost. I just remembered that IVE and CRAVITY are under the same company and that makes perfect sense because this could very easily be a CRAVITY song. Super fun.

Next page:9.5/10 I’m in love with the instrumental,definitely one of my favourite songs off the album. Their vocals are so good on this song plus I love the rap build up before the chorus it adds tension and keeps the song interesting.

Cherish:10/10 my favourite song off the album. absolutely perfect in every way. I really like this vibe, it suits them so well.it’s such a pretty song.I love electro pop so much.

Shine with me:9/10 I love a good electro pop ballad,very emotional. Very modern Disney Princess esque. Phenomenal vocals.

Overall:I’ve IVE(album):9/10 I think Ive really thrive with the title track + 1 Bside formula they had going on and this kinda proves it to me. Because half of the songs on this album feel like the same song different font, I definitely preferred the second half of the album because I feel like they branched out more there. But overall a good album all the songs are enjoyable and wonderfully produced. I definitely want to to see what else IVE are capable of moving forward.

like it like it (TT):10/10 A WHOLE BANGER, the instrumental is so unique I've mentioned it before but as someone who listens to jpop i love it when Japanese releases sound like actual jpop songs and this one really does.

overall/final thoughts i said i hope secret number prove me wrong and succeed in my review of tap and they really have, i truly believe that they’ll do well if they continue with this concept.

album review: cherry dash - cherry bullet 

I was looking forward to this because i really enjoy cherry bullets music.

P.O.W (PLAY ON THE WORLD):9/10 i really like this song i feel like it suits them, it mixes concepts together and makes it work, i’ve seen a lot of people say how bad th rest of the song is compared to the chorus but i’d argue it fits well.

whistle like that:10/10 this song reminds me of newer twice, like mature but still bright this song feels like a turning point in cherry bullets discography. this song has such a good anti drop it’s effective but not too jarring.

cloud nine:8/10 kind of musical theatre-ry, reminds me of trouble travel by adora, fun but overall easy listening.

queen:7/10 this song perfectly explains how they remind me of twice, just good vibes overall

a winter star:5/10 really pretty, suits their voices super well. i’m just not personally a fan of this type of ballad>

overall/final thoughts cherry dash(album): 9/10 i feel like FNC finally know what to do with them musically and i really hope this isn’t their last.

album review: assemble-TRIPLE S 

I was really looking forward to this because generation banged 

beam:8/10 this song reminds me a lot of BIBI i don’t know why but it does, I really like how chill it is it’s a good introduction to the album as a whole, it's experimental but very lowkey about it.

before the rise:9/10 good I like how it features parts of the actual song but remixes them. it feels almost like a teaser.

rising:10/10 sooo interesting like it feels new and old at the same time I think the best way to explain it is (and a lot of other 4th/5th gen songs/groups) is future nostalgia like it’s entirely new but you feel like you’ve  heard it before, the rap is so fun and fits the song really well.

colourful:9.5/10 really well mixed. i feel like triple s’s style is laidback experimental kinda like early loona which makes sense because they are both jaden jang projects, just overall a good vibe.

the baddest:9/10 a completely different vibe, i feel like there's not much to say about this other then how good it is.

new look:9/10 this song is also very future nostalgia but more like future nostalgia dua lipa’s album future nostalgia than the concept i brought up during rising.  

 chowall:9/10 just a vibe honestly such a good outro to this album.

 assemble - triple s (overall):10/10 such a good debut honestly if  they continue making music like this they might be one of the biggest 4th gen girl groups.

i’m definitely keeping my eye on them in the future.
