This post doesn’t mean to offend anyone. I am talking about people who really hate everything.
So, I needed to get this thing out of my head.
In 2017, Marvel fandom became toxic, ignorant and full of hate. I love Marvel, I love its movies, comics, animations etc, but I can’t stand the fandom. I stan Marvel for three years, it was all calm, but this year i couldn’t even enjoy a damn thing. I have OTPs, favorite characters, favourite movies, but when i enter the hashtag I see only people hating on this thing, so i can’t even find what i am looking for. We use these stupid names (toyota stank, snake ruwers, binky burnz, wendy morksimof, etc) to offend a character or ship, but we don’t even know that person on the other side can feel attacked and insulted. Yes, you can dislike a character/ship, but you can’t just go and hate on it whenether you want, because it’s just disrecpectful for fans. I have NOTPs and characters i hate, of course everyone does, but i don’t write shitposts about my hate and explain every damn reason why i dislike it. Can we just keep everything to ourselves? Can we just focus on what we love and enjoy it? If someone hates on something, just ignore it and prove people, that you are mature and can actually keep your opinion to youself and can be that smart to prevent another wave od hate.
By this post I want to tell some people that making posts that say “i hate that ship lmao kill urself if u ship it” or “this character/ship is *a stupid reason that no one cares about*, i hate it and you should hate it too” is just stupid, you can rant about your hate with friends or personally with someone, but egh, making a post and say all the reasons why you shouldn’t ship something, really? Pathetic.
I’ll remind you that no matter what you ship, like or dislike, you deserve respect and people need to accept your opinion. If they hate, they are only immature children with no life.
So, can we all just unite like few years ago, help, respect each other? I hope this post will change few people’s minds.
