Okay, I have a take on this that I've wanted to share for a while and you've finally given me an opportunity to.
I'm actually okay with Harleen bring redeemed. She's a victim of the Joker, and I think it could be a genuinely good story of her escaping his abuse. As someone who's known people in abusive relationships, that could hit hard. In the right hands, it could be fucking beautiful.
But why the hell is her redemption continuing to be Harley Quinn? Harley is what the Joker made her. Her life after him should be normal. Maybe she couldn't go back to being a doctor, but she had a life before all this. Let her be sad for a bit. Let her be traumatized. And then, let her heal. Let her leave Harley behind, and be Harleen again.
