I feel like Obiwan should’ve been worried that Anakin was being mind controlled by Sidious or something crazy like that during order 66. I mean the last time Obi saw him was before he left for Utapau and Anakin was making heart eyes at him and sweet talking him in a soft voice and then all of a sudden Yoda is like “murdered children, he did. Kill him in cold blood, you must. Find him, you will. Essential it is, to strike down your child. Lost to the dark, Anakin is.” I feel like he should’ve been more like “ummmmmmm wtf is going on right now??” Instead of “I will do what I must”. Like Anakin is quick to emotion and he’s quite mercurial but going from being super sweet and then going and killing dozens of children is a little much. I feel like Obiwan should’ve like gone there, grabbed his hands and been like “what is going on right now, no we are not fighting, we aren’t killing each other. We are going to stand here and talk, Padawan”. Because like I know guys, I know he just killed the Jedi and Obiwan obviously is feeling strong emotions and can’t trust Anakin at all. But that’s also his sweet kid and child murder is so insane. Like he’s Obiwan Kenobi, THE Negotiator. He prefers talking and peaceful resolution. I know they spoke briefly but you could tell that Anakin was like insanely delusional and Obiwan was not handling it. I want to see him grab that kid and shake some clarity into him.
