A road trip to crime

Sam and Tucker gets tired of the ghost attacks due to how much time it has taken out of their lives and how sleep deprived they are. Danny encourages them to quit and try to focus on their lives insisting that he can handle it

For a while they believed him. That is until Danny stopped hanging out with them as much coming back a lot more injured and tired to the point of skipping classes.

Witnessing the amount of ghost fights from the outside perspective and also seeing how their friend is exhausted on the verge of collapse with little to no time for himself trying to pass the year they finally understand what a burden being the city hero is. Not to mention the amount of ghost fighting he does outside of Amity to protect his own family or different situations in which he encounters a ghost they start to realize that workload is far too much for one person to handle.

They start to realize Danny is also more emotionally unavailable to himself not even letting himself cry or have the energy to even complain about Mr lancer giving him detention.

So like the good friends they are they are in the cafeteria as Sam and Tucker try to come up with a plan to fix the ghost problem talking about strategies and possibilities of closing the portal or making a deal with some kind of powerful being in order to stop the ghost attacks.

At the brief mention of clockwork Sam in a stroke of genius or insanity immediately suggest that over the summer they go try to steal the speed force and to go back in time to stop the accident from ever happening thus as a conclusion stop the portal from ever activating.

While they cant actually make a deal with Clockwork for multiple reasons what they can do is commit a few crimes to get the speed force as a alternative to one of clockworks abilities.

Tucker also in a stroke of genius or insanity immediately agrees to it as they try to come up with plans to hinder or stop the flash from getting in their way and talking about contingency plans in case he brings the other heroes.

As soon as summer break begins their crusade of crime begins determined to stop the accident from ever happening in the first place while the flash family tries to stop them from stealing the speed force

Meanwhile in a tower Clockwork watches all of this with a frown however it is also a great opportunity for them to learn the consequences of the portal accident never happening.

Bittersweet memories

So you know the "was it casual" trend? Hear me out. What if it was a nobody knows au with gut wrenching romance between Jason and Danny that has been going on since their teens.

I'm not saying "aw so cute but Jason died oh nooo!" No I'm talking about mental trauma romance where Jason is too afraid to trust and loved any freely due to insecurities about his own worth and personal experience with broken trust. I'm talking about Jason always being on his deathbed running the risk of people getting hurt because of him either due to his crime fighting or pit rage. I'm talking about Jason who doesn't know how to process his feelings and ends up spiraling and desperately trying to avoid those things. I'm talking about Jason who would rather yell and close himself off rather than be vulnerable due to the fear of someone taking advantage of that hurting him more than healing him.

I'm talking about Danny who has too many responsibilities and bad experiences with relationships (whether it's familial , platonic or romantic) that he sort of just expected to be hurt at every turn which is why he continues to let people treat him badly as long as he knows that they truly do love him. I'm talking about Danny who has never processed his feelings on everything going around him simply because he didn't have the time to do so thus as a consequence has a hard time of understanding others and his own emotions and often misunderstands them. I'm talking about Danny who sees his own emotions as setbacks to the actual important things that go on around him choosing a more logical perspective due to the fact that he has observed and seeing first hand how those emotions can lead to bad decisions.

On paper this pair shouldn't work. One runs and more on logic when it comes to his personal life and doing whatever feels right in his work one meanwhile the other runs on emotion in his personal life and logic in his work one.

But they met while they were still teens by some major coincidence either Danny chased a ghost there or had been there for a trip they were still teens still trying to grasp and learn about being a vigilante while still having part of their innocence and hope acting more like people their age before the major events.

And during more than their decade long situationship Danny is at a party with his old classmates before they decide to do this trend where they talk about their love lives and how horrible it concluded. Then it comes to Danny's turn. Where they do not even expect that they would even need tissues to wipe their tears for. Examples being

"was a casual when I hated literature but read every single book you've ever read and continued to do so just so we could talk about them?"

"was it casual when I would sneak into your room to hang out with you because you were hurt?"

"was it casual when you cooked for me after seeing my scars and burns telling me to sit on the counter because you wanted to keep looking at me while cooking calling me pretty?"

"was it casual when you said that I was the Lizzie to your Mr Darcy while we were watching a romantic movie together?"

"was it casual when you came back just to see my face and see if I was real or a dream?"

"was it casual when I took you stargazing because you were my Polaris?"

"was it casual when you called when you thought you weren't going to make it because you wanted to hear my voice one last time so that you could remember it when you crossed over?"

"was it casual when you told me that you wanted kiss to kiss me because you remembered that I kept sending you those cheesy letters you really liked while holding my face before passing out from exhaustion?"

"was it casual when I held you crying whispering what I would do for you while we were in the rain?"

"was it casual when we slept cuddling because you called me in the middle of the night because you had a nightmare?"

"was it casual when you said I would make great husband while holding my hand at a wedding?"

"was it casual when you came to see me while you were mad because I was the only one who could calm you down by just existing?"

And the list goes on and on to the point where the Casper high class meets take out the alcohol and start crying while Danny himself doesn't realize he's crying as well.

Unbeknownst to them there's a certain somebody from the bat fam that coincidentally graduated with them and just so happened to come to the party.

Zachary zatara would be the first one to admit that this wasn't how he was expecting his wedding to go.

Let him explain

Zachary zatara well doing well in San Francisco. Well that was until he got injured during one of his older cousins fights of course- Zatanna was fussing over him telling him to be more careful during fights especially big ones.

Apparently some random ass undead popped in the watchtower and started telling a story about some random ass prophecy about two people diverging from different paths and one of them bearing a child of magic or some sort of crap like that- apparently the justice League had been frozen in time so they couldn't attack it so when it bailed they were freaking out.

After that the random undead started dropping off other undead beings with the temper and mentality of a child having a hyper fixation. At some point superman tried to stop one only to end up having skills with the flute and the undead bragging about what a good teacher they are while the man was just confused as to how he got to that point.

Apparently wonder woman became a pasta chef during one of these fights

Unfortunately his older cousin wasn't so lucky. She and him ended up having to fight a undead 12 year old who had an obsession with lamborghinis and wanted to drive them. Safe to say he was on damage control trying to save whatever poor soul that decided it was a good day to go out on the street from a car crash as Zatanna was getting pissed and still trying to make the child calm down.

Unfortunately Zachary wasn't lucky. He got hit by 12-year-old undead who just looked at him and asked why he's a ketchup machine. Safe to say that Zatanna nearly lost it on the girl only hanging on by single thread of this little girl doesn't even know what she did or that he's even bleeding. The little girl after her attention was on him and Zatanna explained to her what she did she looked very scared and constantly hovering around him promising to shove his soul back into his body if anything happens

Comforting.

As sarcastic as he is right now he is sadly not in a position that he can take a break from performing due to some financial issues. Let him tell you hospital bills are not cheap.

While his older cousin did offer him her place to stay he knew that it would bring more trouble than it would good considering that most of the day she's out and about whether it's a performance or whatever justice League fights or mess that randomly followed her.

He went to perform on a small town in the middle of nowhere Illinois in order for him to heal. He booked a cheap hotel and stayed there he didn't think much of it only that he would probably be there for like a week that was until one night out of sheer curiosity decided to see what the bars are like in Amity park where he met this absolutely stunning witty and sarcastic bartender.

It was the first time he has been attracted to another man in such a way. It was quite frightening but the banter was far too good to pass up on. The man was charming and that little glint in his eyes when he knew something you didn't was absolutely addicting he couldn't help but come closer

By the early morning he woke up next to the cute bartender looking absolutely ethereal while sleeping in his little crappy hotel room. Morning came and they started talking where he learned his name was Danny

He started performing and Danny was there at every single one of his performances where afterwards they would get coffee and pick out any movie to see and hang out.

Slowly 1 week turned into 2 weeks and 2 weeks turned into 4 months and before he could even process it he had been living with his boyfriend for 3 years fully healed while laughing at some stupid joke during breakfast feeling content with his life

Every morning waking up to the sight of Danny cuddling him. Fussing over Danny's new scars after a ghost fight. Danny looking at Zach like he's performing miracles every time he cooks something. Zach teaching Sam magic as his job (she pays VERY good to be fair) watching the fruits of his efforts as Sam more confidently does magic and after a day's work goes back to his house were Danny is making dinner after getting back home from university and they go on a little late night date to stargaze and fool around that is unless a ghost fight happens.

During one of these date nights under the stars hearing Danny rant about them for the a millionth time looking at his boyfriend's expression of pure happiness as he explains the story of each constellation again Zach realized something.

He wants this to continue for the rest of his life. He wants to wake up to Danny everyday with his messy hair and morning clinging demanding affection. Coming back home to warmth and the knowledge Danny is there to make him laugh at another ridiculous situation. Be there when Danny is seriously injured and help him. For Danny to always look at him with those same adoring gentle eyes holding him as if he's something fragile. His clone daughter randomly crushing into their house demanding entertainment as she randomly sticks onto one of them and refuses to let go because she finds it funny.

Zach realized he wanted to marry Danny so he proposed on the spot no planned romantic proposal , no ring , no thought whatsoever other than just looking at Danny with no thought other than "I want to marry you" Danny immediately stopped talking and looked at him shocked and started tearing up asking him if he's actually serious and Zachary with nothing left to hide confirms and asks Danny if he will do the honors of accepting the proposal and Danny jumps at him screaming yes will continuously crying holding on to him for as if he's going to disappear at any moment

Zachary returned the hug and started crying as well kissing Danny making promises to him as they plan the next steps of their life.

Turns out making a wedding that fits both human and ghost standards is a lot more complicated than someone might think. Especially since as soon as ward spread out in the infinite realms that phantom was getting married the spirit of Halloween himself decided to appear and announce that Danny is crown Prince and apparently recognized by pariah dark before he got sealed again in the Sarcophagus of Forever Sleep

So not only did they decide to wait a decade to tell them that information they apparently needed to make the wedding at least semi-public but the observance had opinions.

Ever since it was announced they had opinions on EVERYTHING to the point were he and Danny were contemplating on secretly eloping and getting done with it.

That is if they could even slip away from them. Danny only looked at a veil one time and suddenly they were at a veil fitting with the observances contemplating about fashion in the theme of the wedding and what veil would be better while discussing if they would need to get the veil or the suit first

Zack ended up kicked out and sent to another room to get tortured into other outfits by the fake fashionistas.

Not only that but they suddenly found themselves in undergrowth garden picking up flowers for a bouquet because the infant realms had this tradition where one of the maids of honor or the best men would have to catch the bouquet of flowers after that they would have to battle it and put its petals on the couples heads as a sign of support.

As soon as everything was sorted out there Zack was standing ready to cry as he watched his husband walk with confidence toward him wearing a long veil that covered his left eye and what seemed to be a combination between a military commander outfit and a suit holding a bouquet of flowers.

He was gorgeous

But just to say we're about to say their vows did justice League crashed their wedding

Zach was going to murder someone.

The justice League never expected to have to console green arrow after she got "bullied" by phantoms son while they said son looked at him judgmentally.

Okay to explain the situation a bit better we'll need to go from the start phantom joined the justice League a few years ago became a good trusted member and all that good stuff but he's also made abundantly clear he's a father and being a father will take priority over his work which understandable.

And that he would rather see this planet burn to the ground then see any harm come to his child. Which concerning but at least he's being truthful (also can't really blame him)

Phantom is widely known for his puns and jokes and ability to distract the villain. Villains all seem to be on good terms with him despite the fact that he's on the other side except for a few that seem deadly scared of him due to and I quote "paternal scariness". Apparently they threatened phantoms family and phantom gave them an example of what would happen to them if they did. Point is the villains have heard of his son and tell others the same.

Normally they would think this is a security branch and tell phantom to be more careful except he doesn't care at all.

In fact he would proudly announced too anyone listening about any of his sons achievements to the point where you actually got tired of listening to it even batsy groaned one time due to how often this happens.

According to phantom his baby deserves the world and he will not shut up about him it gets annoying but manageable.

When phantom receives news that he's going on a world mission he calls the league and asks them to babysit his son while he's on the mission according to him the rest of his family and friends are unable to take care of his son and he doesn't trust anyone else so they were his best chance

Of course they accepted thinking nothing of it surely phantoms would be just as sweet as he described.

They were very wrong

At first phantasmo seemed like a very calm and collected child.

Until he wasn't.

Apparently he in green arrow were having an argument about something and he wasn't listening because phantasmo was a child so said child got aggressive. Verbally very fast

he started listing and critiquing every single thing green arrow did wrong from the moment he stepped foot in the space station got deeply personal theorized about the cause of his behaviors judged him on the blindness , told him straight to his face that a peacock could shoot arrows better than him telling him how with everything being unflattering and unattractive he might also need to grow impressive feathers to have even the slimmerest of chances of getting a mate and even more impressive feathers to stay. Then his idiocy during an argument is he exact reason why people don't want to deal with him.

And according to everyone else who was watching he said even more things which led them to now

Phantasmo is staring at green arrow judgmentally

Phantasmo: seriously? You cry like a baby whose favorite toy got taken away from them because of critique?

Green arrow: *sobbing like 5 year old* YOU SAID A VACUUM HAS MORE EMOTIONAL INTELLIGENCE THAN ME HOW DOES THAT HAVE ANYTHING TO DO WITH THE ARGUMENT?!

Phantasmo: because during our argument you showed low levels of intelligence emotional intelligence being one of them. I was just pointing it out seeing as it was hindering your sight

It kept happening Phantasmo kept critiquing people with facts and being extremely blunt which led them to a spiral

After that batman decided Phantasmo could maybe benefit Gotham so he brought him with him in the hopes not to terrorize the others. Only to immediately lose him a day later.

He was missing for a week. A week of batman spiraling trying his best to find the kid before anything happened to him and as well as the rest of the league's concerns before phantom came back to murder him.

That was until....

"uh B? Did you take another one in? I think I'm having a therapy session with a 10 year old-"

Turns out he got bored and decided to explore the city and eventually found his way into becoming a black market therapist. What's that you may ask? we may never know.

This situation just kept continuing

Superman took him in? Started a business that could arrival lex luthor's with the motto being "if I can't fight. I'll beat a billionaire with their credit card" which ended up sending lex to the hospital one day.

Green lantern? Tried to hypnotize hal with a lantern that's conveniently green on top of him in the middle of the night chanting some kind of ancient song. He screamed and fell out of the bed

Aquaman? He became an undersea monk. Wonder woman? He became a cult leader. Starfire? He found a interdimensional portal. Zatanna? He almost convinced someone to become food. Cyborg? He made a soup kitchen in space. Found Talia al ghul and tried convincing her to adopt him. The flash? Hit him with a flask

The struggles continued with every new person to take him in.

The league are at their wit's end. The child cannot be controlled in fact that child is controlling them.

it becomes a group project of survival.

The league couldn't wait for phantom to come back.

Danny had spent the last six years building something stable out of the Infinite Realms.

Which, honestly, still sounded ridiculous when he thought about it too hard.

At twenty years old, Danny Phantom was somehow the acting Leader of the Infinite Realms version of the League of Assassins, mediator of territorial disputes, protector of portals, the peacemaker, and — according to Frostbite — “a deeply beloved young lord.”

Danny personally thought that title lost meaning the third time he had to stop two eldritch entities from starting a war over haunted soup recipes.

Still, the system worked.

So Danny did his rounds.

Checking territories. Listening to complaints. Solving problems before they became catastrophes.

And unfortunately, that included Walker’s Prison.

The prison loomed in the distance like a rusted beast made of iron and misery. Chains rattled endlessly somewhere in the fog while ghosts scattered out of Danny’s way the moment they spotted him.

Walker himself appeared almost immediately.

“Lord Phantom,” Walker greeted stiffly, eye twitching like it physically pained him to be respectful.

Danny gave him a lazy salute. “Walker. Any riots? Escape attempts? Illegal soul harvesting rings?”

“Only three this week.”

Danny snorted quietly and continued walking through the massive prison halls, half-listening as Walker listed updates about inmates, contraband, and a smuggling operation involving cursed playing cards.

Then Danny stopped dead.

His body just… halted.

Like every instinct he had suddenly slammed into a wall.

Down in the cafeteria, surrounded by dead warlords, failed tyrants, and extradimensional criminals, sat a living human.

An older man with sharp green eyes and a white streaks in dark hair, perfect posture despite the prison uniform.

Danny’s core went ice cold.

Walker noticed immediately. “Lord Phantom?”

Danny didn’t answer at first.

Because there was no way.

No fucking way.

But Danny knew that face.

He remembered that face looking down at him with complete indifference.

He remembered being ten years old and realizing, in those final moments, that this man had never loved him at all.

“…Walker,” Danny said quietly.

Walker straightened.

“Who,” Danny asked with terrifying calm, “is the Mortal?”

“Oh. Ra’s al Ghul,” Walker answered. “Imprisoned for the illegal misuse and contamination of Lazarus Waters across multiple realms.”

Danny stared.

Then he laughed.

It was sharp. Breathless. Wrong.

Several nearby ghosts immediately pretended they had somewhere else to be.

“Oh,” Danny murmured. “Oh, this is rich.”

His eyes flared green.

Not the bright, clean ectoplasmic green most ghosts associated with Phantom.

This was darker.

Sickly.

The color of corrupted Lazarus Waters.

Walker took one instinctive step backward.

Every survival instinct he had developed over centuries screamed at him to leave immediately and pretend he had never seen anything.

Unfortunately, it was his prison.

Phantom started walking again.

Slowly.

The cafeteria quieted almost immediately as inmates noticed him approaching. Conversations died mid-sentence. Trays stopped moving.

Ra’s looked up at the disturbance with visible annoyance.

Then confusion.

Because the being walking toward him looked young, young enough to be almost insulting.

Tall now, broad-shouldered, clad in black and white with space itself curling unnaturally through the edges of his aura — but still young.

And furious.

“Ra’s al Ghul,” Phantom said pleasantly.

The room went still at the tone.

“Well,” Phantom continued, smiling without warmth, “this is a surprise.”

Ra’s narrowed his eyes. “Should I know you?”

Phantom’s smile widened.

“You know,” Phantom said conversationally, “that answer honestly hurts my feelings a little.”

Ra’s opened his mouth, but he never got to speak.

One second he was sitting down.

The next, his face slammed into the metal cafeteria table hard enough to crater it.

The sound echoed through the entire prison.

Several inmates screamed.

One ghost in the back dropped his lunch tray and whispered, “Oh, thank Ancients it’s not me this time.”

Phantom had Ra’s pinned before anyone could react, one hand twisted into the man’s hair while his other pressed him against the ruined table.

“Don’t worry,” Phantom called casually over his shoulder. “I’ll fix the table later.”

Walker stared at the destroyed table.

“…You always say that.”

“I usually mean it.”

Ra’s struggled violently beneath him. Phantom barely had to use force anymore. Twenty years old in human age meant very little when his existence had become something vast and ancient enough to make lesser ghosts instinctively lower their heads around him.

Phantom shoved Ra’s to the floor instead.

Hard.

Then planted a boot against his throat.

The entire cafeteria watched in horrified silence.

Because Phantom was kind.

Phantom negotiated treaties.

Phantom gave second chances.

Phantom once sat through a forty-hour mediation between two warlords because one had allegedly “stolen the other’s emotional support leviathan.”

This?

This was something else.

Phantom looked down at Ra’s with open hatred.

Not rage.

Not blind fury.

Hatred aged over ten long years.

Carefully preserved.

“Walker,” Phantom said calmly, never taking his eyes off Ra’s, “how much money would it take to transfer custody of this inmate to me?”

“What?”

Phantom finally glanced back. “I asked how much.”

Walker blinked.

Then blinked again.

Because somehow that was the part that disturbed him most. Phantom — the paragon of individual rights and resident goodie-two-shoes — would never ask something like, "How much money do you want for him?" as if this were a slave market.

Pointdexter slowly raised a hand from one of the cafeteria tables. “Uh… Lord Phantom? Respectfully? What the fuck is happening?”

Phantom ignored him.

Ra’s finally managed to rasp out, “Who… are you?”

Phantom stared at him.

Actually stared.

And his grip tightened slightly against Ra’s throat.

"Seriously? You don't recognize me even after all the hints I gave you?" Phantom mocked. "Don't you remember how you treated me? Like a punching bag? Like a spare? Don't you remember putting your foot on my neck until I died, only to use my body like some twisted kind of footrest?!"

Ra’s went still.

Walker’s expression changed instantly.

“Oh,” Pointdexter whispered faintly.

Phantom’s voice never rose.

That somehow made it worse.

“No,” he breathed, face going pale.

Recognition finally hit him.

“Oh,” Phantom mocked quietly, smiling. “There it is.”

“…Tariq?”

The name sounded wrong coming from him.

Phantom’s eyes glowed violently green.

“Don’t.” The word cracked through the cafeteria like thunder. “You don’t get to say my name like you know me, grandfather.”

Wandering King DP x DC

{Aka, Danny on vacation causes some (a lot of) panic.}

{Inspired by Leviathan Danny and Eldritch Danny fics, though it'll probably go off its own way in the future if I decide to keep posting my writing. But for right now, this is just build up. Maybe in the future I'll post more of my wips or oneshots. There wont be any beta reading for this so it might be all over the place.}

After the incident, the Fenton household became all too much sometimes. Having to constantly pretend that, no, he wasn't a dead preteen, and no, his parents' negligence didn't kill him. He needed a place to go to just escape from the stress. The fear. Even if he insisted that he wasn't scared of his parents, there was that fear in the back of his head of if he was caught or if his parents ended up not taking him being half dead well.

Danny didn't know where he'd go in the beginning, following wherever his core took him. He followed it as if he already knew where he was going cause his core was confident in its own instincts.

Plenty of times, this led him to leaving out his window in the middle of the night only to return at the break of dawn or not at all. But while neither of his parents seemed to notice his escapades, Jazz definitely did. She didn't push, not much, considering when he came back, he seemed lighter than when he left. Once she confirmed it wasn't anything too illegal or dangerous, she let him have this.

Despite staying up most nights, his core was kept fed and it was enough to keep him up. But even that could only get him so far.

Since they were kids, Jazz was always the one to take care of Danny. Their parents tended to get so caught up in their own obsessions that they forgot all of their other responsibilities. Sure, it was worrying that Danny barely slept outside of mid class naps. But he was still eating and looked pretty healthy if not more so than before. She could only hope that Danny wasn't getting into trouble. Jazz knew hovering over his shoulders wouldn't help him, but she would be there for when he needed her.

Between his school life and hero life, Danny found himself wandering more. Finding himself on roofs or in the park, just staring up at what stars he could see. For now, it was plenty enough for him to satisfy his obsession. He had his books and star maps, and a well loved telescope, but there was something missing. It wouldn't be till his first time in the Ghost Zone that he would find what it was.

That weightless feeling. Sure he felt weightless when flying or floating just above the ground, but in the zone, somewhere as infinite as space, the experience felt new all over again. He was pretty sure that all the emotions in the realms were affecting him more than he thought. But it wasn't like he was complaining. Not when it came to space.

It turns out, even outside of the Infinite Realms there were ways of recreating the feeling of being untethered to the world around him.

The first time after the portal incident that the Fentons went on a vacation to the beach, he felt that familiar pull of his core. It wasn't often Maddie and Jack put down their current project for family bonding, but at the request (guilt tripping) of Jazz they agreed it wouldn't hurt to take time off for the summer.

So the odd family found themselves on a long awkward road trip. Despite their promises, there were a few gadgets and gizmos in their luggage, but it could've been worse. Not everything went as planned- awful traffic, running out of gas, getting a flat tire- it ended up being a long two day drive.

In the end it was worth it.

The whole idea of a vacation started to look up when they found themselves in Maine looking over the horizon of the coastline. It had been a few months since Danny half died. By now he came to accept that fact. He had mourned his short life despite somewhat being alive still. He had better control over his ghost form and the powers that came with it.

He enjoyed the time off. Both during the day and night. But at night, there was much less light pollution here than in Amity Park. He could see more stars in the sky than he had ever in his life. The view was enough to reignite his obsession with space. And at night, when he went out back to the beach to stare into the abyss, Danny found himself floating once more. Drifting not too far from shore. Staring at the stars above for hours till it was like he too was floating aimlessly with the stars and planets themselves.

The following morning, Maddie woke up to find Danny already out on the beach. It wasn't horribly early when she got up, so she just assumed he hadn't been out for long. And that was good enough for her. Though, she did seem to be happy with how much Danny was enjoying himself.

Maddie swore she hadn't seen him this happy for what felt like forever. He was as happy as the night Danny got his telescope, stars in his eyes and all. Perhaps this was what the family needed. It brought back the look of child like wonder that she loved. One she wished she had been the cause of, though seeing it again all but made up for that. Maddie was just happy to have found something they could bond over.

Watching Jack pick Danny up over his head and toss him in the water only to be followed by the laughter of both her kids and her husband was enough to make this part of their norm. Yeah, she loved every bit of her work life, but she loved her family more. No matter how many things she forgot to do or how many responsibilities she neglected in the process. In the end, she loved her family more than anything.

The sentiment was shared with Jack, who beamed at getting to have this much fun with his family. He was a little disappointed that neither Jazz nor Danny was this happy when it came to ghosts, oh but look at them! Even if Jack wasn't the most (emotionally) intelligent person ever, he could tell Danny had been down in the dumps for a bit. But look at him now, he was so happy!

Both Jack and Maddie had the same thought, "maybe they should do this more often."

On the second night of the oddly relaxing get away, Danny ventured a bit father than the night prior. relaxing to the point he felt one with the waves. He found himself lucky he didn't exactly need to breath anymore.

After some time, he started to sink into the watery depth, feeling his core expand to match the vastness of the briny deep. He hadn't even realized he went ghost up until then. The other thing he failed to notice was just how far he had floated this time. At least being this far from shore he didn't have to worry about getting caught by ghost hunters, his parents or otherwise.

He was already out this far, he might as well explore while traveling back. So in all his new massive forms glory, he allowed himself to sink further down. To his surprise, while he was still close enough to see the the massive light house from the shore, he was also far enough to come across a small pod of whales, along with many other schools of fish.

For a brief moment it felt like he belonged there. Remoras deemed him good enough to try to stick to him while still tangible. Like he was just another whale or shark they were hitching a ride on. The smaller of the life around him startled at him movements and the push of the water around him.

After minutes? Hours? of swimming, his core tug once more. Deeming the spot he had come across the perfect spot. To take in the surrounding wild life, the small groups and schools that found their way to him once he rested. It was deep enough to where the moon illuminated the water above him, yet, where he sat remained quite dark. Though, maybe that was from his shadow. Casting over the sand and drop offs.

If he had to describe what he was feeling, it would be at peace. He may not be in space, but he felt just as weightless, save the pressure of the water. It was the closest thing he could find that felt like floating in the great beyond. Not like he actually knew what space was like, though if he had to say, it would be like this but better.

If he thought more on it, if he did get the chance to go to space, he was unsure if he'd ever come back down. Not only would he get this feeling and the view, both would be at the very least ten times better. He'd end up so entranced that he would never come back to earth or lose track of time. Knowing himself, he might forget that he's still half human and end up accidentally fully dying in space. Had to wonder how that development would turn for his ghost half, dying in the one place he dreamed of going to. The same place the became a part of him in the form of an obsession.

Case and point, time passing only registered to Danny as he watched the sun cast a brighter light over the water above. He hadn't even noticed the moon setting, let alone the sun beginning to rise. Once time made sense to him again, Danny was off back to the hotel. On the fly in the direction of the light house, he grew conscious of his new form and reverted back to his normal Phantom self. And what was left in his resting place were some few Atlanteans with bated breaths. Because What, the FUCK, was that?! A fucking Leviathan??? But it was small??? Only the size of a whale. Was it a baby. Oh gods it would get bigger! Was it dangerous? Did they have to fear the Leviathan, or would they be fine if it was left unbothered.

And it kept happening. After the first siting, the (probably baby) Leviathan came back. Always at night, the left in the morning. It barely even noticed them. It acknowledged the fish swimming around it and it was aware of how its movements sometimes made the fish shrink back and flee. To the few Atlanteans that decided it was better to understand the infant Levi than fear it right out the gates, it was almost endearing that the giant tried so hard to not disturb the ecosystem much. The thing was just so curious, even with its deep reflective eyes, they could see how taken it was with how the (in comparison) small fish reacted. And like the day before, it would "play" with the fish then grow still looking up to the surface, and at the break of dawn it would snap out of the trance and leave.

It would be twice more, making it a week, till the babe Levi didn't come back, leaving only the spot it laid. Nothing else was left behind but the imprint of it. But the few days it was watched, it painted Leviathans in a different light. It was young and curious, just as an Atlantean's young would be. Nothing from its actions painted it as a fearsome predator, nothing beside the sheer size of it. Not when it paid so much mind to the smaller life forms. It was as sentient as any other being of the sea was. Judging from its size, it was new to the world.

Danny didn't think anything of it. For the remainder of the Fenton's vacation, the family got on surprisingly well. No one was accused of being a ghost. Hell, Maddie and Jack both agreed to leave the gadgets and gear in the hotel room when they went into town for sight seeing and for meals.

The family ended up with tons of photos of their stay that Danny was sure to show off to Sam and Tucker when they went back. Speaking of which, the family were packing up preparing to go back home and back to their norms. It kinda bummed Danny out that they had to leave, but with Jazz's support of the idea, they asked if they could do this more to the delight of their parents.

This was a win for everyone. Jazz would get to enjoy more of her time as a kid, not worrying about her little brother. Danny was happier than ever, exploring during the day, spending time with his family with no mention of ghosts or getting torn apart molecule by molecule. Plus, Danny got pretty good at changing/controlling the change of his form. Jack got to have one on one time with both of his kids and his wife. And Maddie didn't drag Jack out of any trouble while also getting her baby boy back in the process. Even if it was brief due to this only being a week long trip. Point was, everyone had a blast. With the exception of the Atlanteans who had a heart attack or two when he first showed up. But he didn't even notice them.

That night, the same brave Atlanteans that observed the baby Levi waited for some time after nightfall for its arrival. Tonight would be the night they tried to get closer to nab a sample. One problem. The Levi never showed. Same with the next night and the one after that and the one after that. Soon the encounter was shrugged off as a one time thing. Was this just a thing that Leviathans did at a young age? Find a safe, secluded, place to rest then move to a new area? It was hard to tell for sure since this was the closest any of them had been to a Leviathan for an extended length of time without being in danger.

Yeah, it was disappointing that it left, but there wasn't much to be done about it. On the bright side, it was such a mellow subject. One could only wish that their young would be that calm. Pretty soon the Leviathan would once again be off the radar, the possibility of it returning was low in the opinion of the few that got near it. They had to assure that to plenty of people plenty of times. And plenty of times Aquaman had to assure the League that no harm was done.

After it's first appearance, Aquaman was understandably warry, giving a heads up to the League in case this took a turn for the worse. But worse for worse never came. From what was observed, it was an infant. Harmless to everything that came near it. He never tested whether or not that would be the same with him or his citizens since it payed no mind to any of them, choosing to not interact or it truly just didn't know they were there. Given how it was gentle to the fish-dozens of times smaller than it- he could only hope and assume it would act the same with them. Cause in the following days it was gone. Like it wasn't nesting outside of the kingdoms walls.

It remained gone for nearly a year before someone spotted it once more. Almost the same size as before, although worryingly small for it being a year older now, which raised both more questions and new found concerns. Was this poor Levi Calf not eating? Come to think of it, where had its mother been. A youngling that small should still be near its mother, but given it had barely grown since the last encounter, the possibility that it was abandoned or it's mother died was concerning. Not being taught to be a predator due to the death of its parent could explain its mellow actions and the lack of growth. But that also meant it wasn't taught to hunt nor defend itself. Poor thing.

Then that raised the concern of if there was something nearby that was big or strong enough to hunt and/or kill a full grown Leviathan. The thought was far more concerning than a harmless youngling that wandered a bit too close to the kingdom. As complicated as the subject was, for precaution sake, Aquaman had to inform the Trinity as a bare minimum. It was better for them to know to be ready to offer what help they could if needed and having their assistance might help with gaining a better understanding of the "small" Leviathan. Telling all of the JL immediately might cause a minor panic, but keeping it secret would likely be seen as withholding information.

Although he was still on the fence about spilling so soon, it was better to have the league on his side. That was the point of his appearance at the bi-weekly meeting. Arthur would have shown regardless of if he decided to tell or not. It was better to get it out of the way. Gods know how pissy Bruce would get if he wasn't aware of a giant ocean monster, more so if Bruce found out Arthur knew and didn't tell them. Man, B would tear him a new one.

Arthur, otherwise known as Aquaman, was sat around the table, mulling over how he was to tell the group. If he should run it by B first then tell the rest. Hell if he was supposed to know. Either way, his fellow heros would be made aware of the baby Levi's circumstances. He'd send his regards to that poor child who would soon be smothered with contingencies and monitoring until the heros were certain and satisfied. In the end this would prove to be the better choice. For everyone.

With the vaguest idea of a plan in mind he would inform the other members at the end of the standard meeting. If he wanted to tell Bruce first, he should have done so in advance. If he told him now, who knows, maybe Bruce would leave to do his own investigation and have Nightwing tag in for him. If not Nightwing, then one of the other members of his brood. That possibility couldn't be risked now.

All that was needed of him at the time being was to inform and assure that it would be handled accordingly. Not that he could stop Bruce's contingencies in the end. So long as the Levi remained calm and no blood was shed, he could consider it a win.

It wouldn't take much for any of the leaguers to act. Even the most sensible of them could be rash and impulsive, when it came to getting the job done and protecting their people.

Once the Zeta tube announced the last arrival, and the small talk and idle chatter was out of the way, the meeting would start. It was the basic stuff- tying off loose ends on incarcerated rogues, reports on the localized crime, how they could've done something better or worse- the usual. Only some minor setbacks in a bust, notes here and there for improvement. Then came Arthur's time to speak up, fill the rest of them in about the (potential) 'situation'. A low-stake, docile, seemingly parentless, infant Leviathan. He pulled from the reports of the last time it was spotted on the outskirts of Atlantis, time lapsed recordings of it doing nothing but resting and allowing the creatures around it to do as they pleased. On the occasion it would move, it did so slowly, seemingly conscious of its affect on the things around it. The youngling was considerate in that aspect. That was all it did, from night fall to sunrise, for a few days to a week at a time, then it left till the next summer came. What little was known about the Leviathan was that it deemed Atlantis safe enough to lower its guard to rest then migrated to a new place. The Ocean was a big place. Plenty of dark, secluded spots to hide and rest. Regardless of that, it returned for that week, then again a year later.

Finally was the consideration that no parent was spotted anywhere near the Calf at any point. When comparing the video from a year ago and the newer ones from the Levi resurfacing, it was painfully obvious it didn't grow much. If at all. They were sure it was the same one too. The chance that something killed its parent was at minimum concerning. Leviathans were always seen as aggressive predators, but this one seemed to be enough to disprove both parts of that sentiment. It wasn't aggressive and certainly no predator. If anything, at this state it was the prey to something else. Something bigger or simply more dangerous.

Nearing the end of the meeting, a live feed from where the baby Levi would sleep was playing, an Atlantean citizen was finishing putting the camera in place. It was coming up on the time it usually showed up. Once in place, the Atlantean swam off, and there was nothing for a few minutes. Then there was movement in the back. Far enough that it was just a blur. But sure enough it was the Leviathan, just something was off. It was acting sluggish, moving much slower than normal.

When it was within a few meters of it's resting place, it became clear that it was injured. Green liquid with splotches of red was pouring out of its side, mixing in with the water. The Leviathan's oddly humanoid hand was covering the injured side. Small chirp-like-gasps vibrated in the water, like it was crying out for it's mother.

Danny had come from a surprise encounter with Skulker, the latter getting the drop on him on his way out past the lighthouse. The rest of his family were already in bed when he was attacked, he was far enough that the attack wouldn't wake them either. But the league wouldn't know that. All they knew was the docile baby Leviathan was hurt bad, enough that it's blood was swirling idly in the surrounding waters. Bad enough that the baby was calling out for a parent that wouldn't show. For now though, they were operating on animal planet rules. Observe, don't interfere. But watching as something suffered was fundamentally against everything they, as heros and as protectors, stood for. They could do something, they could offer help, they could find what attacked it. But then what? Have what ever it's predator was go after them? How could they even help it when they didn't even know anything about it.

Were they really just going to let nature take it's course, yeah, Leviathans were dangerous, but everything that's dangerous doesn't deserve death. Causing danger and being dangerous weren't the same thing. It was only a baby that had done no harm.

Leaving the Levi to suffer would be no better than killing it themselves, it would sit just as heavy on their conscious if it were them killing it. Even with nothing said aloud, the decision was made. Making contact would be easy in theory, if Aquaman couldn't communicate with it with his marine telepathy then maybe Martian Manhunter could communicate telepathically or read its mind. In theory. But that only worked if it stayed calm while being approached and if their assumptions about it retaining a conscious mind was correct.

Those that could spare the time and resources returned to Atlantis with Arthur. They only had a few hours before the Leviathan, if it followed it's pattern, would leave. If it decided to do so, they had no way of stopping it. As planned, J'onn accompanied him, along with Barry and Bruce.

Equipped with flippers and oxygen masks, the three joined the Atlantean king to the Levi's resting place. It was in the same position as it had been last seen on the live feed. Curled into itself, making the same pained chirping sound. The liquid assumed to be it's blood started to settle around it's body, drifting with the movements of the group swimming closer.

Being this close, Arthur could see the Leviathan closed its eyes, lowering its guard even as it bled. In all it's time resting near Atlantis, it remained alert enough to watch the animals around it or gaze up to the surface. But it was too caught up in its own pain to keep its eyes open.

Arthur spoke to it first, alerting it of their presence. His voice reached the young spooking it at the suddenness of it. It became further startled seeing who was speaking to it. Regardless of its own agony, it jostled back away from the intimidating form.

How odd it was that something dozens of times bigger than them found the Leaguers to be intimidating. It was clear, in the reflective eyes of the Leviathan that it was scared. Perhaps that wasn't the right word. It felt unease at their presence. Something completely natural from a being that had been injured and didn't know who or what to trust. Given the sluggish movement observed earlier, it could probably barely stay conscious. But it didn't trust them. And that they couldn't blame it.

With the suggestion for Barry and Bruce to stay back for a moment while J'onn and Arthur tried to calm it, there were a few minutes of silence between the group as the latter two eased forward, lifting their hands in a surrendered motion. The moment of reasoning began with Arthur explaining that he was the king of the kingdom the infant rested by on the occasion. Then J'onn offered the explanation for them approaching making sure to specify to the baby Levi that they didn't intend to hurt or scare it.

Danny thought that being far enough away from Amity Park meant the ghost attacks wouldn't be as bad. Actually, he thought he could get a few days with no ghost business at all. Of course he had to jinx it. On the third night of their second family vacation, a year and a half after he died, Skulker had tracked him down. Still clearly dead set on completing his hunt, the fight would have been like any other if not for the new surroundings. With the stars above on full display and Danny being on the move to his new normal resting place, Danny wasn't as aware of his surroundings as he should have been.

He'd done this plenty of times. Going to the depths to float while getting lost in his obsession. Driven by the vary same obsession, he was distracted and Skulker used that to his advantage.

Skulker's attack landed, however, he didn't expect the halfa to grow in size seconds after hitting the water. This unexpected discovery would only act as fuel to the flame with Skulker's hunt. On top of being a prey that gave him meaningful fights and being half ghost-half living boy, he also held enough power to alter his physical form. Now that was a prey worth hunting.

Skulker followed Danny's trail for a few miles out till he lost him. Seemed like the Halfa could cover much more ground (or in this case sea) in a much shorter amount of time at this size. Too bad.

It took longer for Danny to reach his safe place, his adrenaline wearing out a block out from safety. Gradually his movements became sluggish like he could collapse at any moment. And he almost did once he was finally safe.

Danny found himself curling into a ball, pressing his enlarged hand against his side. This had been a closer call than any other attack made by Skulker. Way closer to a second death than he ever wanted to get.

There was movement near him, he assumed those blobs in his blurry vision were the usual life that found their way to him. Although, this time around they looked off. Bigger maybe. Moved more like people swimming. For all Danny knew, his head could have been hit during the altercation and he was seeing things as a result. Those human looking blobs were in the distance, by the top of a drop off behind some rocks and hadn't moved any farther or closer for the next fifteen minutes.

Danny wasn't actually sure how much time had passed. He was just taking a wild guess.

Those long fifteen minutes passed and in that time his eyes finally closed. He needed to heal. To focus. There wasn't any ecto near to use to heal. All he had to heal off of were his emotions: pain, panic, relief at getting away; The creatures-around-him's emotions: curiosity, hunger, but also worry and panic, which was odd, though possibly cause by him moving too fast and freaking them out; And his own obsession.

It wouldn't take long for Danny to figure out why he was feeling odd emotions from the surrounding creatures when one spoke to him. He didn't have that ability? He couldn't speak to animals, so why was one talking to him?

As his glossed over eyes opened, he was face to face with a human! No. That's not right. He was breathing under the water. He could hear it. That couldn't be a human.

Danny's eye began to focus as he saw long blonde hair flowing in the current and a yellow/green suit. He blinked once. Then twice.

Holy shit- Is that Aquaman?! This could not be happening. Oh Ancients- Did he do something? He could hear Aqua man speaking to him in a gentle tone. Okay, so he wasn't mad. Not out right. That's good.

Aquaman was introducing himself, saying he had been resting near his kingdom. That was an enough for a existential crisis by itself. Then there was a second voice and Danny's eyes couldn't widen any more, it was the Martian Manhunter. THE Martian Manhunter. Danny's all-time favorite Super Hero. Oh Ancients, he was using his telepathy on him! He could die for a second time happy now. Wait. Not the time. Did Martian Manhunter just say the Atlantean's had been keeping an eye on him since last summer?! At least the hero confirmed he wasn't in any trouble and they weren't going to hurt him. Nice to have that cleared up. Wait, if Danny was thinking this, could MM hear it?

J'onn could, in fact, hear his thoughts. And to his shock, the baby Leviathan knew what the Justice League was. Not just that, the Levi had favorites. J'onn felt slightly flattered.

The Leviathan being aware of them, enough so to have a favorite, meant it was much more sentient than initially thought. It was confusing. How could a young ocean predator know about the Justice League. Knowing about Aquaman and Atlantis would be one thing, but as it's eyes focused, it recognized each of them. It's thoughts were all over the place, it's emotions switching from excited at meeting them, concerned about having met them, and over all confusion.

It was almost worrying that the Leviathan knew about his powers. Knowing enough to worry if they were effected by it too. That displayed some intelligence. If this was just a baby, that could suggest that Leviathan as a whole weren't given enough credit. This young calf alone displayed actions similar to elephants returning to sources of food and water and taking migration routes. It being able to show favoritism was just even more fascinating, showing to be more human in the sense than that of Avian, Mammals, or any other Primates.

J'onn was getting distracted. He had to remember they were there for a reason. This first contact was important. J'onn introduced himself to the Leviathan, giving his proper name in place of his hero one seeing the calf already knew that one. He also happened to mention the uniqueness of the situation at hand, showing remorse to the calf for not having a parent. Now knowing that the calf was sentient, MM was more hesitant to go further than needed into it's mind. Therefore, until it was necessary, he would stick to using his telepathy as a means of communication.

Even in the mind, there could be mistranslations if a language didn't have a word for something in another language. The dialect of a Leviathan, however it was, was unknown to anything but a Leviathan. Contact with one was rare in and of itself, but communication was even more so. Encounters in the past had never been so bloodless. Well, this one wasn't exactly without blood either, but it wasn't from combat with the Leviathan and them.

From the quick dip in the Leviathan's mind, it was indeed young, only reaching sixteen in age. For a human, that was young, but a Leviathan, a creature that could live hundreds, if not thousands of years. This Leviathan shouldn't've been without a parent for another decade. When he took that quick look, he could hear the Leviathan telling him to stop. To get out.

The baby could feel him inside of his head. It's awareness was impressive. Yet worrying. J'onn apologized for the invasion, and with the help of the Levi's seeming favoritism, the apology was accepted.

oh my gosh I just got hit by inspiration. Imagine one of those times of Danny going into the water his family is there to watch

Danny turns into phantom there's a distinct singing coming from the lighthouse that sounds almost like a siren

Phantom looks at peace more peaceful than anyone has seen him in as he slowly walks into the water

And right there is the horrifying realization to Danny's family that Danny died and that he is phantom and that they are possibly witnessing what they think is Danny moving on and they are very conflicted of whether or not they should have let their son move on or stop him

the horror of the Fentons watching in the middle of the night where the sea looks a black pool of mystery with a distinct singing that sounds like a siren and Danny and his ghost form peacefully going deeper and deeper into the sea more relaxed then they have ever seen , having a dazed expression as he walks into the deep end

Questioning of whether or not Danny is moving on and if they should stop him or not or maybe a ghost siren is controlling him (Jack is the one who suggested that he doesn't want to see his baby go even if he's a ghost so he's trying to do everything in his power not to face reality)

Danny has always known he's adopted. His parents never really hid it from him. According to them they found him on one of their ghost hunting trips in the woods bleeding out with no one in sight.

The rushed him to the hospital where countless nurses and doctors rushed him to the emergency room. Other than the bleeding there were countless other wounds and scars that needed to be treated along with the stabbing. During his treatment Jack and Maddie were explaining the situation to cops and social workers however when they tried to find his file they found nothing as if he never existed at all.

No one knows what happened to Danny. As far as the doctors police and social workers could guess is that Danny escaped from somewhere dangerous and they hunted him down but didn't bother checking if he actually died. During their time there Jack and Maddie became insanely attached to the child that looked at them curiously with some weariness and slowly warmed up to them. According to dad the night Danny ask them to hug him to help him fall asleep was the night they knew for certain that they were taking him home.

Danny believe them and never bothered searching for his biological parents since he was pretty certain that they weren't good people or the kind of people he wants to be associated with that was until his past came crashing down.

With assassins appearing in Amity park calling him Prince and grandson of the demons head trying to kidnap him and take him back somewhere with the vigilantes of Gotham appearing out of nowhere as well and his parents becoming more wary of the assassins and vigilantes to the point of suggesting that they take a vacation somewhere secluded was sending alarm bells to Danny's head

So he went to the only person that could solve this mystery.

Wes.

Wes figured out he was phantom as soon as he saw him in both forms. That along with some other mysteries makes Wes the only option Danny has as to figure out what's happening and the only one that knows about his phantom identity.

With the two boys looking coming face to face with assassins secret organizations and the justice League what will the encounter and what sort of trouble will they get tangled into? And will this evolve into something more?

I just finished watching "my adventures was superman" and with this new found DC knowledge I was contemplating what to do. But then it struck me.

No no don't give the kids to Lois and Clark. GIVE THEM TO SAM LANE LOUIS'S FATHER

Do you see the potential for angst and comfort? Do you see them getting messed up in different ways then they were with the Fentons? Because I do.

It's very clear that Sam lane was always a bit more closed off and harsh on Louis pushing her to be more independent and to be successful along with the fact that it's been stated multiple times Sam wasn't there for a majority of Lois's life and they had a constant arguments. The final straw was when Sam during a camping trip (cough cough training) left in the middle of the night and in the morning Louis woke up to her father and her tent not being there. Of course like the reasonable child she is she panics and goes out searching for him fearing the worst only for when she finally finds him turns out he's completely okay and this has been a test congratulating her for remembering where the North Star is and that she can navigate where she can go now. Louis whose whole trust in her father completely shattered decided to cut ties with him and do what he said do things alone.

In fact Lois is insecurities all stem from her father the feeling of not being good enough and feeling that everyone will leave her in the end especially at the end of the episode where Sam promised Lois to stay only for him to run the moment Lois doesn't have eyes on him. of course this comes from other external enforces as well like that one journalist who wanted to interview superman at that one love show commenting on how Louis can't possibly be with superman because of the way she is which causes her to break up with Clark because of her own fear.

I'm bringing up these issues because I feel like there would be even more angst for Louis as well as Jazz , Danny and Dani (maybe Dan too). Especially if Lois has bad memories with the North Star meanwhile Danny is gushing over it

I feel like there would be two scenarios with this it's either that Sam continues to be the way he was with Louis with the rest of the kids or he actually improves and tries to get better for the Fenton kids which you would lead at to more angst for Louis

Like particular scenario that explains what I'm imagining is what if jazz died when Amanda tried to recreate the ghost portal for whatever reason? She would turn into a halfa sure but Sam's reaction really depends because it's clear that he wouldn't turn his back on her since he really does love Louis but doesn't show what the best way or even allow himself to show it.

I feel like he would push her away as soon as she died believing it's his fault for jazz turning into a halfa that's pushing her away so she doesn't get caught anymore in the crossfire making Jess who's now a very emotional and fragile state of mind after literally dying try to reach out to her most paternal figure she has in her life only for him to turn her away feeling abandoned. In the end he sort of just dumps the kids on to Louis (who let's be honest would have been more than pissed that her father abandoned his kids on her doorstep instead of stepping up and fighting up choosing to run away the same thing he did with her) or someone else to deal with the mess as he runs away trying to leave a false trail for Amanda

The other scenario is that he fiercely gets overprotective over his kids and tries to get better for his kids emotional needs which again angst for Louis ✨ I don't know why I'm giving her more trauma but this point I'm pretty sure she became a favorite at this point she's going to become those lines that were like "if said person has truly changed then that means they will always capable of changed I just wasn't worth changing for"

I like to think or believe because Danny is a halfa ghost instincts don't come naturally to him. In fact it doesn't come naturally for even Vlad or Dani. Vlad uses it as a excuse while not knowing the actual culture and Dani is walking confusion between ghost instincts and human ones.

So imagine Danny "my ghost age is a couple of months old" phantom flying back home from a mission and seeing a newly formed halfa. A little girl no older than seven with white hair and one blue eye and one red having a panic attack.

Danny takes one good look at her before going "mine" and snatching the child and then proceeding to call Tucker and make him an identity for his daughter because that's his daughter now damn it as the little newborn looks at him with wide curious eyes tilting her head at the side.

Yep. Danny has decided he's a father now and anyone who tries to take his kid away from him will be met with phantoms actual strength.

So what if his child tried to assassinate Sam? She's just a baby Sam she's getting used to ghost instincts! So what if she has a collection of weapons and poisons? Come on Jazz you're acting like our parents don't do the exact same thing every day. Tucker she wants to bond with you! Of course she's talking about battle strategy and the best way to kill a man indulge in conversation a little!

Yes it's okay child to want to skin your enemies alive when they hurt your family. I daydream about it all the time!

That's Dan an evil alternate self of me from the future. Don't worry I'm no longer going to become him. Oh? He's your favorite uncle now? Aw because he's not scared of you that's so sweet! Danny has had a change in priorities ever since he's gotten his second daughter. His first priority is to make sure his children are safe and happy. His second priority being his friends and family and the third being the town.

But the third is adjustable. Because a brave fool tried to harm his child. The fool made it out alive but not without injuries , scars and PTSD never to be seen again. Later that day phantom could be seen buying ice cream for his daughter as she excitedly told him about everything she learned about the ghost zone

But it didn't stop at phantom. At school Danny takes his daughter there so they can complain about how horrible the school system is and to also spend time together. Mara was having a pretty good time in learning what normal habits are and why she was talking to Sam curiously about animal rights activism to which Sam happily answered her questions looking proud every time mara looked at her with wide awestruck eyes.

Again a fool appears in the form of Paulina and dash trying to make a comment about Danny and trying to get physical with him. Mara immediately notices and protective daughter mode is activated. It ended with dash having a 2 broken legs and Paulina 2 broken hands with Danny cooing about Mara's improvement and how protective she is of her family completely ignoring the threats of court or the teachers yelling. Instead Danny lifted up his daughter in the air and proclaimed her the best person in this school ditching the place all together so he can get his daughter some tiramisu with Sam and Tucker following close behind as they kept making jokes about their cute little raccoon.

Paulina and dash did try to get revenge at some point though. However they are met with a terrifying Danny. No one knows the exact details but last time anyone has heard from them was that they were under witness protection with their houses burnt to the ground.

A lesson has been learned that day. Do not mess with the Fentons granddaughter or son. They will snap you like a twig

Honestly I need Vlad being so horrified of Danny's taste in partners. Like originally he was concentrating on marrying Danny's mother and kill Danny's father and like take Danny as his son but the more he tries to spy on Danny the more concerned and horrified he becomes by Danny's taste in partners and is actively trying to get him out of situations where he can get himself killed.

Paulina? Pity he doesn't think much of it she just dated him for the fun of it and to humiliate him. Unfortunate but it happens

Valerie. Girl tried to hunt Danny's phantom side. Concerning but not out of the ordinary as long as he makes sure she doesn't end him. He still wants him as his son after all.

Sam. This is where it's getting concerning. This girl does not only like your phantom side only but has killed you TWICE?! Daniel I think it's time we have a talk about how your relationship is the equivalent of me dating Jack except he's super into plasmus.

Dash. Daniel I believe we need to have a very important conversation about abusive relationships and red flags.

Wes. Daniel I'm starting to doubt your ability to think. That's the boy who's constantly trying to expose your identity

Then in continues on. and on vlad successfully breaking up Danny with whatever partner he has with Danny pouting asking for the reason being mad as Vlad looks at him dead in the eyes as he slowly explains his reasoning and Danny can't even be mad because what does have a point unlike other times (he's still salty that he had to break up with Wes though)

Unfortunately Jezz has the same taste and Vlad believes it's due to her influence that Danny is like this. So he talks to Jazz and figures out she's lesbian and gets her to date a nice girl that she actually likes.

Vlad hopes with jazz being in a good stable relationship Danny will learn. Unfortunately he did not as the next time he saw him was again with Wes who made danny a memory book of all the things he had in his childhood.

Vlad does not want to learn how he managed to acquire items that had been lost years ago.

With Danny's parents permission he moves them to Wisconsin in the hopes that Danny will find or somehow gain better taste in a new area.

The ninja assassin proposing to Daniel after a month of dating did not help.

Vlad: Daniel you cannot be seriously thinking of accepting that proposal are you?

Danny: well he's nice! Really cute as well treated me better than all my previous partners isn't that what you wanted?

Vlad: think Daniel. It's only been a month and he's already asking you to marry him. Next thing you know you have kids with him and then he leaves you after losing interest. This is love bombing I assumed you knew this from your parents after experiencing it for years. How long did it even take you to date him?

Danny: *looking down in shame* three days... But according to his culture committing to one person for life is normal! Like true love and the fairy tales you know?

Vlad: Daniel he's in a cult. A cult with a old man with corrupted ectoplasm interested in me. You are not marrying into a cult.

It only gets worse from there he moves to Gotham hoping that was at jazz going to university there and Danny's obsession with protecting people will distract him from dating. It did not. He went for the commissioners son that's supposed to be in prison (I don't know much about him or his age I just know that Gordon had a son that is in prison for some reason)

Vlad is pulling out his hair and as plasmius practically forcing the commissioner to find his son more quickly while venting over alcohol about Danny's horrendous taste in men to which commissioner Gordon pats his back sympathetically.

When they break up he doesn't think it can get worse. Until a year later when Danny introduces him to the red hood who she had been dating for a couple of months. Vlad already feels his eye bags returning as Daniel starts ranting about how the red hood is actually different from his previous partners and that he's actually green flag.

Since the red hood is one of the bats he cannot intervene unless he has solid evidence of something going on. At least the bat will help him if something does happen.

Years later he's at their wedding walking Danny down the aisle as Danny makes a speech about thanking Vlad for guiding him to Jason.

Vlad wants to retire.

uncle Danny

okay so Danny and Talia are childhood friends. How they meet it's up to the dealers choice. Was Talia on a mission? Was Danny in the League of assassins for a while when he was young? Anything

Talia and Danny trust each other and then know each other secrets of course and they did help each other like Talia occasionally helping Danny on time missions or Danny becoming her medical support/bodyguard after missions. He did to tried to help her but when she firmly refused she knew pushing her would only drive her away so he stayed silent. Couple of years go by she meets Bruce they continue talking until Damien is 3 years old.

By that point Talia put all her focus on trying to keep Damian alive and teach him everything she could so he could survive on his own and Danny went on to have his own missions for Clockwork.

As Damien grew Talia started to realize that Damien living with his father might not result in absolute happiness or complete safety recognizing the fact that he has poor emotional intelligence at times or too dense to notice emotional moment or a certain emotion on someone's face. Of course he doesn't do it intentionally but she also recognizes the fact but he's a lot more stubborn and in arguments could lead to multiple possibilities and not all of them very good (she saw Jason she knew the result of what arguments did she saw Jason's older brother move out due to constant arguments)

Talia might love Bruce but her love for her son is greater so she needed someone she could trust and rely on to protect and raise Damian if something ever happened to her and remembered her old friend.

She knew Danny would absolutely protect Damian if anything happened to Talia or Bruce or even Damian's siblings. So in her will she wrote that if anything were to happen to her Damien should be sent to Danny claiming him as Damian's uncle.

So when Talia by some sort of shock kicks the bucket the assassin's immediately go to Damien and read her will to him. Damien being cornered and alone after getting convinced by the assassins that they are just reading her will gave them a chance. After learning about this supposed uncle he had he decided he would go investigate him and to see if he's truly that trustworthy.

He decided to take Jon with him seeing as the address was supposedly in the sky. When they got there they saw a huge Greek styled palace with waterfalls, ponds with mythical fish, pillars, big balconies etc

When they knock on the door a young man in robes comes out looking groggy and confused assuming he just woke up. After Damien introduces himself and explains the reasoning as to why he's here danny he immediately curses under his breath muttering something like "I'm going to drag Talia back" before letting them in.

Danny starts fussing over Damian telling him about how much he's grown in the last time he saw him was when he was 2 years old and with Jon asking questions it dissolved to Danny showing baby pictures of Damien and telling stories , Damien trying to stab Danny to put an end to his embarrassment and Jon snickering.

The whole thing ended with Jon carrying Damian out the door both of them waving goodbye to Danny was Damien still being embarrassed and grumpy.

they continue visiting Danny and always learning something new like time laws , cooking , mental health , about the supernatural , weaving , astronomy , self care etc.

By that point Danny is the safe adult. Someone who will listen without judgment offer a device when needed , comfort console and teaching you something new while making jokes and always telling them to take care of themselves.

Danny has become a Damien's uncle not only on paper but emotionally as well. He's the one Damien searches for when he's struggling or having family issues that he doesn't know how to solve or express. He's the one he calls in the middle of the day after seeing something stupid his classmates did. He's the one person Damien can trust other than his family to keep him safe

To Jon he's a cool adult that always make sure both him and Damien are safe and teach them cool things and giving them good advice. Always making sure that they're okay and always giving them the something new to learn about.

But there comes a slight issue. Danny was under the assumption that their parents knew where they were going and who he was which brings the issue at hand.

Danny being with batman and superman as they all look at each other confused as Danny tries to tell them about Damian and Jons progress with magic.

Safe to say when Danny finds out that none of them even knew who he was they got the scolding of a lifetime with Danny telling them about the dangers of going into a place that your parents don't know going without permission and talking to a random stranger you learned about through a piece of paper one day going on and on about what they're doing was stupid and that he taught them better than that.

Batman didn't even get the chance to try and interrogate him before Danny apologizes and explains who he is and how he knows Damien and Talia basically giving Clark a full report on Damian and Jon and what they have been doing (but not telling them about the things Jon and Damien made him swore never to tell anyone) apologizing again saying he assumed they already knew

After Danny takes both of them to his house and they talk things through Bruce and Clark seem a lot more content and assured around Danny however the looks they give Damian and Jon only give them a look that promises they'll get a lot more scolding when they get home

Ironically enough now both families visit Danny's house as well often talking about whatever random topic and laughing

Damien and Jon may have been caught and they may have a stricter schedule now with rules that's strictly make their parents know what they're doing and the times but at least Danny and their parents get along

toxic beauty

I always loved to think that Danny was very attractive and by very I mean it feels like you're hallucinating attractive.

The type of attractive that reminds you of being on a beach on a gray rainy day with a figure in the sea singing and not being able to look away once you meet the sirens gaze. The type of beauty that's pulling you in that you know it's dangerous you can't help but obey

people doubted and still doubt that Danny is the Fentons son. In the past they didn't believe in ghosts but they very much believed in sirens and were convinced that they stole Danny from the scene one day and somehow convinced him he was human.

Casper high though Danny may not remember it everyone in his school has suffered a great crush on him. However they found a solution. That solution being bully the siren so much so that you slowly convince yourself that it's just a loser.

It's a really effective solution once you think about it it really is! That way you will only have to think about the sirens social status instead of anything else. Ignore the sirens love for stars , ignore how cute and attractive the siren looks when he wakes up (don't ask summer camp and the boys had a saxuality crisis at 7:00 a.m.) , ignore the sirens pout every time they get displeased , ignore the fact that the siren is getting muscles. Ignore it all as it should be.

(and maybe sabotage the way they dress that also works)

It's easy to ignore the obvious when the siren themselves believes it. It's for the better really until one faithful day that everything had been ruined.

Right on Cassandra Wayne's insta were multiple photos of the siren wearing sleeveless turtlenecks , gloves , military pants and high boots with his overgrown hair all down and a star piercing on his left ear...

But that's not all through Foley's cameras they discovered she was dressing him up and giving him a whole new wardrobe. She gave him white pajamas. WHITE PAJAMAS.

Normally that wouldn't be an issue considering they don't live with the siren however jazz is visiting for summer offering some college/university advice since they were about to graduate and they couldn't refuse. By the time they got there Danny would still be asleep only for him to eventually come down the stairs with a bed head still have sleep.

But it doesn't end there she gives them all sorts of clothes like a loose shirt with an open back perfectly highlighting a star tattoo no one knows Danny got and when with some black pants and belt and his hair half up looking like the relaxed son of an aristocratic family.

It kept going and Casper high knew this woman was trying to murder them. There is no other explanation for it. As they suffered in silence eyes glued to the screen unable to look away faced with a boy with piercing crystal blue eyes tan skin and jet black hair that you could swear you could see the void. Filled with a regret knowing they have no chance. Even Samantha and Tucker looked at a loss for words gaping at their friend

Meanwhile at the other side of Gotham

Cass: ooooh! Has anyone ever told you you look good in white? Thats a 100% your color! Have you considered working at Wayne enterprises as a model :3

Danny: *awkwardly laughs* stop it Cass! I'm blushing stop flattering me so much I'm not THAT attractive in order for you to make it your life's mission to fix my wardrobe

Cass: what nonsense! You're totally attractive in fact you're my younger brothers is type! Don't speak so lowly of yourself besides all of Gotham and window shopper freezed looking at you as if trying to distinguish if you're real or not! If it weren't for the fact they were in a trance looking at you I'm certain that people would flirt with you left and right and modeling companies would be begging for you to work for them.

Danny: *turns red looking at the window at the plethora of people staring at him gaping and looking down immediately* well they are going to be disappointed can't afford all of this either way if anything we should-

Okay it's time for another one. I recently read one of the fanfics where Danny is Tim's younger brother and that got me thinking.

What if Danny was younger than Damien?

Like by the time and Danny comes into the picture Damien is 17 preparing to go to med school. And hear me out. What is it Damian also wanted a mentee/younger brother so he stalks Danny for a bit before he talks to Tim and is like "he's perfect I'll take him" fully expecting Bruce to adopt him

Now Danny for his part has been adopted as is obvious but the reason he's reaching out is because he knows the sentence are going to go to jail (Jazz has had enough and clockwork told her to go wild) and is looking for some family to take him in at least until he becomes an adult.

He met Tim a couple of times and he's pretty nice super thoughtful and doesn't push him if Danny doesn't want to. They're slowly getting to know each other until one Damian Wayne decides to speak to Danny himself. The meeting ended with a random wall in crime alley painted it with beautiful stars with the two boys laughing and Damien showing him all about the techniques he used as Danny tried it to replicate it.

Danny really liked his brother's brother. He was super nice and did they even agreed to meet up more! It's a pleasant surprise and according to Damien he wanted to meet Danny because if he was Tim's brother he's family! Honestly he doesn't understand why people call him grumpy he's such a nice dude. Maybe it's because his normal face looks like he's going to murder someone? Doesn't matter everything's going well.

It comes to the point where Danny feels comfortable enough to tell Damian about his living situation and why he's reaching out in the first place and Damien in his mind just about confirms that he's going to get adopted one way or another.

As soon as Tim finds out from Danny talking about how nice his brother is and everything he's taught him he's going to be so baffled. Like Damian Wayne? My little murder brother? The grumpy one? Are you sure we're talking about the same Damien???? And Danny's not happy because Damian is so nice how could he not see that!

It comes to the point where Damian is slowly stealing Danny away and the family tries to intervene only for Damien to pull out a mug then he got him with the words "best art teacher" as he raises one eyebrow to them.... Damien what did you learn that from Alfred stop it. it's identical

Damian does not stop he goes to Bruce asking for him to adopt Danny , he goes to Dick for advice , he's searching up about mental health and how to cook as he thinks it's going to be a good bonding activity

Tim is losing his mind because he somehow has entered a competition for his newly found little brother with the youngest gremlin that apparently just picked him up and decided to keep him

Tim at this point gets contingencies in case Damian tries to steal Danny through court

Okay I have seen the bat fam figure out Dani is Danny's clone (AKA Danyals) but what I haven't seen is the pure utter confusion and yelling as well as arguing so it goes something along these lines

Dani gets snatched (kidnapped) and woken up in the batcave. She's confused scared and angry until they tell her she's a clone of someone they know and she in her little mind is like "oh these are associates of Danny! Allies friends! :D" and sort of wants to make a little big reveal where they say the name of the person at the same time because she's a kid and wants to do fun things like that even though she knows what's going to happen (or at least what she thinks is going to happen) and the bat fam let her be a kid (but also confused on why she's not acting like a league member but assume she just got out of the manipulation and stuff like that)

The moment comes and they both yelled different but similar names.

Silence....

They all stare at each other in confusion

Damian: father. This clone is clearly a failure. Not only is she not like the league but she also doesn't know how to say her dead donors name right!

Dani: excuse me?! Who said I said it wrong I said it perfectly! It's all of you who got it wrong! What league are you even talking about the justice League?! Do I look like an eye sore of colors to you-

Damian: she doesn't even have the memories! I do not understand how they let her roam! I doupt she has the ability to escape the facility! Why did they let you free child?!

Dani: AGAIN WHAT FACILITY?! I WAS BORN IN A CREEPY ASS BASEMENT IN THE MIDDLE OF FUCK NOWHERE ILLINOIS!

Damian: where were you all this time?! What basement?! The league his operations in Illinois?!

Dani: in more places then you will ever be bitch! April in India eating the best food I ever had you jealous infant brain!

It basically continues like this (Dani trying to explain herself but they don't believe her) while the batfam try to calm them down until Dani says that she knows her template and Damian is like "PROVE IT" and Dani calls him. Not even a few seconds later Danny bursts through the wall looking pissed.

After again much calming down he agrees to a DNA test and low and behind he's Danyal!

Dani screams loudly that she knew itand giving the batfam shit

Dani walks up to him being like "your the better twin" as he drags her away trying to go home

We've seen Danny being all kinds of situations like he's the son of the bat no he's the son of wonder woman no of the martian! Superman! But never once have I seen Jazz be utilized in these aus and experience the chaos she's usually half written and mostly is supporting character for Danny but I want her to be the main character and Danny be the nanny for her like imagine:

Jazz is excited. She's about to move out and go to the university of her dreams with a full ride scholarship and honors! They are accommodating her and her needs so she needs no financial support from her parents and that is great amazing even! She's making itineraries plans to where she will meet people and what she will do goals that she has to achieve there's so much to do and it's all so thrilling and exciting!

She flops on her bed giggling and kicking her feet. Many years of high school and using the most unlikable people she's ever met as test subjects for her to get into university and it worked! Take that Mr lancer you prick that can't mind your own business! In all honesty she doesn't think she'll miss Amity park. The only person she'll miss is her little brother her precious little brother that is overprotective of her. When she got the news he was over the moon and the first to celebrate and plan a party for her. Her parents gave her a big congratulations before they got distracted by ghost again honestly she won't be keeping in contact with them their relationship has doled out with their obsession

And now she's finally getting out honestly it feels like she's flying and touching the ceiling like physically touching it! It's amazing and- wait why does she feel something with her hands-

she opens her eyes and finds that she's literally floating on the ceiling... Okay that's okay she can get down maybe she can push down and make the gravity take her back?

....

She just destroyed her ceiling. She didn't even push that hard! Oh gosh oh gosh she's floating off help help wait she knows what to do who is the other person in this household who can fly her little brother! Maybe this is ghost related ha ha if it is simple solutions they can figure it out right?

Okay that came out more panicked than she wanted- and look her little brother is in his pajamas transforming into phantom trying his best to push her down and she won't stay down. With the way Danny is holding her she's acting more of a balloon than an actual person

Had this idea in my head that I needed to write out

Both Danny and Vlad somehow end up in the DC universe and clockwork made of Vlad not be able to use his powers or manipulation and forbade him from starting his own company. So they ended up teaming up together because of what other choice did they have they still hate each other but they need to put their survival first

Somehow both of them get jobs at W.E and enjoy working there.

Of course he apologizes and pays them double the amount to fix them but at this point it became a pattern to the point they can tell he's investigating them.

But the Brucie persona is killing them every single time.

It comes to the point where they genuinely despise a man because of his persona because ghosts tend to be more honest and even Vlad the one who deceives and lies as if it's second nature to him actually becomes disgusted with it to the point where he made a promise to himself never to become like that again.

It comes to the point that even when Bruce genuinely starts to like them they're both like "wtf get that thing away from me"

Bruce complaining about not knowing how to cook and how Alfred is out of town? Vlad somehow gets dragged into the matter forced to cook for Bruce and every time Bruce compliments him he feels like another part of him withers away

They go to metropolis for a break? He's there.

Star city? He's there

Coastal city? Again he's there

France? He's there yet again

They go to Atlantis? He's always there

At galla's they genuinely I'll give each other the bottles of wine every time Bruce Wayne walks in there's no way they're doing this sober. And when there's no alcohol? They try to get out of there as soon as humanly possible

Damien instantly feels threatened but Danyal? This child who has barely even shown to care about anyone into anything around him just going with the flow and being like yep this is life with no interest in anything around him is suddenly cooing and fussing over the baby

at some point you don't see one another without each other Danny will flaunt his younger sibling and flex him to anyone and anything that can hear him and constantly call them inferior to his adorable baby sibling

It comes to the point where everyone has decided to call Danyal "papa Danyal" because even if Bruce tries to parent his baby Danyal is in a dark shadow watching him with judging eyes taking the baby supplies and doing it correctly (no one knows how he knows how to do that)

Bruce never in his entire life has considered even the possibility that he needs to fight to parent his baby with his own child and unfortunately said child is winning. By some miracle he's there every time and before he can get what the baby needs Danyals already done it and playing with the baby.

There's a rivalry that even the bat kids don't understand. It's filled with hatred on Danyals side and confusion and desperation on Bruce's. It's a soap opera that disguises is itself as a comedy. Jason is at the corner with his red hood gear filming the thing while eating popcorn because it's too funny not to like even as a red hood before he even revealed his identity as soon as he heard of this drama he's like "wtf I need to see this ASAP"

Safe to say that the baby has a favorite and that favorite is obviously not Bruce. To the point where Clark notices and asks Bruce if he's okay only for Bruce to answer "my second youngest is trying to steal my youngest"

Damien doesn't even know what to do anymore. One time he tries to assassinate the baby and accidentally walks into a circus where his brother is running around with said baby in his arms and Bruce trying to take it. He stood there for an hour. He decided to send a message to mother and wait until the war ended because honestly he feels like he might actually get murdered if he even touches the baby

Bruce is so tired he finally gets to parent a baby from its baby miss stage and now he has to fight his own son in order to do that
