as for the prompts:

alone: How does your OC deal with loneliness? Have they ever been completely alone before? How do they act when there's no one around to see them?

Alena probably handles being alone relatively okay, if it's not for too long. She's not the type of person to dwell on thoughts or anything, but she tends to get stir-crazy easier because of her extraversion.

break: What would cause your OC to break down completely? What do they look like when that happens? Has anyone ever seen them at their lowest?

See this is a hard one because I know that I've explored this idea with Alena before, but it was either verbally with a friend, or in some chat messages that have been deleted since then. Or they're just impossible to dig up for me because it's been that long.

I know for a fact one of her lowest moments is the reason she has so many scars and a robotic arm. She was mauled by a monster, and had to have emergency surgery to save her. I'd imagine she went non-verbal, and the experience just sucked all the willpower out of her for a while.

She usually loves working out, lifting weights, hiking and so on, but she could barely bother with getting out of bed after that, much less do any sort of physical therapy. And the fact that she felt so helpless and weak made her feel even worse, since she likes to think of herself as capable and independent.

There's a difference between Alena pre-attack and post-attack - she was a lot more careless before, she had some of that teenage bravado, and the idea that because she's young she's invincible.

But her near-death experience humbled that part of her, and although she can still be a jokester, she becomes almost eerily serious if she thinks she or her friends are being threatened.

mask: Does your OC wear a mask, literally or figuratively? What goes on beneath it? Is there anyone in their life who gets to see who they are under the mask?

midnight: What keeps your OC up at night? Do they have nightmares? Fears? Anxieties? What do they do in the small hours of the morning when they should be sleeping?

mistake: What's the worst mistake your OC ever made? What led to them making it? Have they been able to fix it? How have they moved on?
