Jen: Sounds good. Meet at my place at 8ish? We can pregame a bit before heading over.
Leah: Perf! I'll bring the sparkling rose. Once Septemebr ends I feel like it's off limits until like, April, ugh.

Jen: Should be some good networking opportunities. The director I work with alot is going to be there plus a ton of other directors and actors so it should be good.
Jen: I think it's just a casual thing. Mostly like a wind down party and a post emmy celebration
Leah: Super! I think I saw a couple of directors I've worked with before talking about it on their socials, but it's been AGES. And I'd have to double check with Lulu, I've been stressed lately so she's been checking most of my mentions and stuff for me.
Leah: Perf! If you're still up for it I'll so be there with you.

Lucky: You'd be beautiful in a Dawson's Creek reboot! Think it would be one of those where they just remake the original concept like 90210, or like a Next Gen thing?
Lucky: I never saw a lot of Dawson's Creek so I would've just taken your word for it lmao
Leah: IDK, hopefully a next gen thing? I feel like the world would reject a blonde Joey and I so don't want to dye my hair dark or even be in like, a black wig all the time.
Leah: Omg it's super great! I feel like it like, set the stage for so many fun teen dramz that came after it.

Lucky: I say this with the most love.
Lucky: But what are you EVER talking about, Leah Moon? đ
Leah: OMG, sorry! I was on like, a Hulu binge recently! I heard they might do a Dawson's Creek reboot and I super wanna audition so I was rewatching.
Leah: Although it's okay if you were confused, I totes mixed up the names! It was Abby who drowned, Jen was her friend. Whoops! This is why I needed the rewatch.

Jen: Okay so I got invited to this big party tonight from one of my costars on a movie I did last year and like I'm not about to show up alone.
Jen: I figured maybe you could be my Plus 1?
Leah: Um, obvi! I'm always up for a cool party, especially with Breakthrough like, almost donezo, it's great to be out and about.
Leah: Is there like, a theme?

But thereâs more than enough evidence from just your work alone where people can guess what work weâve had done! And people know how lip fillers work thanks to Instagram models and Kylie Jenner taking them out or letting them dissolve! I think lying about it would involve more judgment, if anything.
Ugh, why canât the world just accept glo-ups without having to like, analyze them these days? Okay, okay, what if we just say itâs like, personal and we donât want to go into detail because we feel like people should like, do what feels right for them and not something just because itâs what their their fave celebs have done?

Lucky: This two-parter episode is gonna be such a blast to film, yâall! Iâm so lit about it! And if you think this is exciting, just wait for the midseason finale.~~~
Leah: OMG so excited!!! Although another year of no one drowning like, Dawson's Creek style is super not what I was expecting!

Lulu: The best part about being a writer is that instead of wondering why no one's ever written a short about sending the perfect first message to send on Bumble, I can just write it myself. Except I still haven't figured out what to send out on Bumble for MYSELF yet, so I'm stuck in a pit of my own making. HELP.
Leah: It's like, way easier to write that kind of thing for someone else because you don't have to be you, you can be whatever fake character you want to be when you're writing it! Do you want my help? I can totes run your Bumble for you for a while until you start meeting nerdy people I can't understand.

I didnât know I was supposed to just LIE now! You gotta let me know which things Iâm lying about at any given time!
You lie about things that people would judge us for and tell the truth about the things that make people love me, I didnât think it was that hard!

What if the question is âHas Leah had more plastic surgery than/gotten plastic surgery without you?â Am I still supposed to smile and nod?
Oh my God, Lulu, youâre the smart one! or youâre supposed to be. Obvi in those situations you shake your head and smile instead!

Bjorn: If I did, I'm sure she'd have sent a group out to murder me, Annalise Keating style. :P
Leah: Omg, I haven't kept up with that show since like, the hot one died in Season 3 (don't tell Shonda!) but how many more people have they murdered by now???
If you had to describe your character on Breakthrough using only other television characters, who would you choose?
Oh my God, like, a dash of Malcolm from Malcolm in the middle since he was brillz, with a little bit Krista from Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants -- I know thatâs a movie but they play it on TV sometimes, and Melody St. Clair is such a Carmen sometimes, okay? It makes sense that Iâd be like, part of her dadâs new fam. Or Cassidy, but like, you know what I mean. Sheâs also like, a little bit DJ Tanner? But in the Full House days where sheâs like, the one whoâs sort of afraid to break the rules. Except when sheâs in love and her boyfriend is living in her closet, no biggie.Â
jenbamfâ:
âI have no clue.â she puled out her phone and started googling. âI mean come on, who wouldnât want to be bumped by two Breakthrough stars just trying to relax before the next day of the con.â
âSeriously! Like, Iâd be willing to offer them an autograph -- and maybe a selfie, as long as itâs pre-massage. They really need to learn how to make oils that donât get your hair all grease-tastic by the time theyâre done.â

Kara: But they have way more power
Leah: A princess just has to like, know how to use her power. Like, playing chess kind of, right?

âIs it socially acceptable to go to a panel in sweatpants? Asking for a friend.â Drew was feeling a bit agitated recently and really had no desire to get dressed up for a full day of panels, meet & greets, & a bunch of screaming tweens. His agent was supposed to have gotten back to him about his next project, but so far he hadn't heard anything. âAlso, do you think I could get one of the PAâs to fill my cup with whiskey instead of water? Or would that be too obvious?â
Leah looked up her nose at Drew, shocked by what she was hearing. Sure, they were all a little unprofesh every once in a while, but sweatpants? Whiskey? She was super glad he wasnât on one of her panels. âUm... maybe choose a drink thatâs not brown? There are lots of clear ones if you want to be a sneaky sneaker,â she finally suggested, hoping she didnât seem too appalled.
jenbamfâ:
âI totally forgot how exhausting these conventions can be. First dramacon in years and I wasnât ready to feel this wiped so early in the weekend. Iâm gonna need a spa or something tonight so I feel relaxed for tomorrow.â
âTelllll me about it,â Leah sing-songed, flouncing into a chair next to Jen. âDo you know which spa around here is the best one? Iâm sure we could make a call and bump someone elseâs appointment, no biggie, right?â
