For the most part, yes.
That’s where each of them have been so far. And the alpha did say he’d be there at the same time.
The most part?
Then I guess we’re going to the clearing.

For the most part, yes.
That’s where each of them have been so far. And the alpha did say he’d be there at the same time.
The most part?
Then I guess we’re going to the clearing.
I know you could, but I’m not letting you handle it yourself.
I met one of them in a clearing west of where my family house used to be.
Are you sure you believe that?
In the woods? Alright so.. you think they’re just going to be hanging around there?
Always expect the worst.
And I think I know where to find them.
.... You know that’s -- Fine I’ll just hope for the best and you can expect the worse since it seems like you don’t think I could handle this..
Where?
I’m expecting you to be the type to give strangers the benefit of the doubt, like always.
If we go into a meeting expecting them to try and kill us, don’t you think that might just incite them too? I know enough to be wary Derek.
You don’t have to say anything. I want you to stand your ground.
Are you expecting me to run away?
And if they’re here to cause trouble?
I don’t know Derek... If it comes to that it comes to that. What do you want me to say?
No, but it wouldn’t be too difficult to find out.
Then we’ll go there, and meet them.. and if they want something... Well we’ll just have to figure it out, right?
Not yet. All they kept saying is they want a meeting.
Then I’ll meet them. Maybe they’ll leave after they meet with me. Do you know where they’re staying?
You’d know if I was yelling. And what’s bothering me is the fact that these werewolves want to talk to you.
Well they haven’t yet, I haven’t seen a single one of them. It seems as if they’ve been talking to you instead.
Do you know what they want?
You need to pay better attention.
Hold on. Instead of yelling at me tell me what’s bothering you maybe? I have been paying attention.
You do know there are other werewolves wandering around Beacon Hills, right?
I’ve noticed the smell, and I think someone mentioned it. I haven’t run into any of them yet though...
Doesn’t matter. We need to talk.
Okay... What’s wrong?
Idiot. I don’t care where they went.
I’m not even sure who we’re talking about anymore.
Listen to it. DO IT. Its amazing.
They went that way...
—- She felt as if she were boiling over, with every mutter of how he could help her, she grew closer to spilling; there was no comfort in asking someone who didn’t understand for help – there never would be. ❝ You don’t get it, Scott – you’ve never understood. ❞ With every syllable, Lydia’s voice rose – he wasn’t listening, and neither was she. ❝ There is NOTHING you can do to help me. You can’t make the voices stop, and you sure as hell can’t translate words you cannot hear. You can’t make me feel better and you can’t make me forget the fact that it’s my fault Allison’s dead. You can’t make me forget that I never got to say goodbye. I can’t hear her, and every memory I have of her is tainted by the fact that she died and there was nothing I could do about it. ❞ Tears threatened to stain her cheeks, her face growing red with every heated word. ❝ If you want to pretend like everything’s fine, that’s on you. Go on and pretend to be happy, see how far that gets you. But I don’t want your false hopes or your pity – go waste them on someone who gives a damn. ❞
Scott just shook his head, his eyes landing on the ground unable to look at her. “You’re right,” nodding his head he looked up at her for the briefest moment, “I don’t understand but I’m trying too.” It was hard seeing his friend go through this, for her to completely ignore the fact that he was trying to help her, trying to make her understand that although he could never, and would never understand exactly what she was going through that he wanted to try. The slap of the words were numbing as everyone hit him. She though it was her fault Allison was dead? “Allison --” the name brought him to his knees almost, his mouth tightening in pain. “Allison died because she --” because it was stupid and pointless and she was trying to help them. She would have never have even been involved with any of this if she hadn’t ever been involved with him. “Allison didn’t die because of you.” And it was meant to sound strong, it was meant to sound reassuring but the weight of the guilt and fury that gripped him wouldn’t allow him to speak any louder and finally, finally, he ripped his gaze away from the ground and looked at her. “I’m not pretending everything is fine. I’m trying to live,” shaking his head he stared at her. “Don’t you understand? Allison wouldn’t want this.” A wave of his hand gesturing between them. “She’d want us to live Lydia.”
Yeah, it sure seems like it is. I was just curious though, I figured it didn’t hurt to ask.
No such thing as a dumb question, and all that right? Are you new in town?
