Gin!  One of my favs from the Eli Monpress series by Rachel Aaron.

He’s basically this giant magical racing dog and, having owned greyhounds in the past, I can confirm that they are Mostly Nose.  I imagine his expressions are pretty amazing as a result (seen here are disgruntled glowering, quizzical glowering and default glowering).

Sketched Josef the swordsman from the Legend of Eli Monpress :D I didn’t exactly look up the description of his appearance so I just used other fanart as reference and added some things.. I wanted to add more weapons since he seems to have a knife or a sword everywhere under his clothes but I didn’t know where so I only drew some knives and the Heart of War on his back.

Hilarious scene from Rachel Aaron’s brilliant novel “The Legend of Eli Monpress: Spirit Rebellion”, the second book of this series. :D (The scene was much better and funnier in the book though)

I enjoy reading this so much, it kept me from doing any work today. The story of this novel series: The master of thieves, brilliant Eli Monpress, wants to have the highest bounty you can ever get on your head. Miranda Lyonette, spiritualist, is on a mission to catch him. But somehow they always end up having to work together… There’s more to it of course, I can only recommend one thing: READ THIS.

He kinda turned out too young somehow :D I was doodling yesterday and I still can’t stop thinking about these books (I read 150 pages today O.O The final showdown was so epic I couldn’t stop). I already ordered book 3 and I can’t wait to read it!
