of course confrontation isn’t bad, but the way a lot of people CONFRONT is in fact bad. 

     people become upset, and that is understandable, but what will never be alright is demanding an explanation. intimidating others to calm your own anxiety is not okay. pressuring people into uncomfortable situations are not okay. forcing others to state their mind is not okay. fishing and guilt tripping in order to receive an explanation is, by surprise (to some), not okay.

     you cannot force someone to explain themselves. sometimes things happen; people come, people go — it sucks, but sometimes that’s just what life is and the ONLINE COMMUNITY (a world of inconsistent presence) needs to come with those terms. 

     never confront people with a negative tone (approach them in a polite manner; even if they do harm). cruelty breeds more cruelty, be that one difference.
