The Moogle (Final Fantasy Mixed Drink)

The Moogle -

1½ part Bols Strawberry 1½ part Bols Raspberry 1 part Peach 5 part Milk Whipped Cream

Directions: Shake the first 4 ingredients with ice and top up with whipped cream.

Zero Suit Samus (Metroid Mixed Drink)

1 Ounce Sapphire Gin ½ Ounce Anisette 3 Ounces of Sprite 1 Licorice Twist Aptly named, this thing will go down gracefully, and then kick your ass.

Bum Rush (Final Fantasy Cocktail)

Ingredients: 55ml Arita Tequila 22ml Triple Sec 20ml Lime Juice A Few Drops of Chili Seeds A Lemon Wedge A Chili Pepper

Directions: Run a lemon wedge around the rim of a cocktail glass then cover with coarse salt. Crush a few ice cubes into a cocktail shaker then pour in 50ml Arita Tequila, 22ml Triple Sec, 20ml lime juice and drop in a couple of chilli seeds. Shake and pour into the glass and attach one chilli pepper onto the side.

The makers of this drink were particularly clever when they included the running of the lemon wedge along the rim of the glass.  The Bum Rush is Sabin’s final Blitz move in Final Fantasy VI.  The input for the move is a complete circle using the directional pad.  So when you run the lemon wedge on the glass, its simulating you preforming the move.  This makes me a happy geek.

Player 1 Wine, made by 8-Bit Vinters (Gamer Wine)

Another example of some classy gamer wine is 8-Bit Vinter’s Player 1 wine.  Created by Mark James, the fruit comes from Columbia Valley and Walla Walla Valley.  Each bottle, currently, was aged since August and September of 2007, when it was harvested.  James claims that his wine is for “anyone who spent time trying to save a princess or fit odd shaped blocks together.  We may have never met, but we have more in common than we ever knew.”  A bottle of Player One wine can be purchased at 8-Bit Vinters for $18.00.

The Cake is Not a Lie (Portal Mixed Drink)

Ingredients: 2 cl Whiskey 1 cl Kahlua 1 cl Bols Brown Cacao 1 cl Cherry Liqueur 1 cl Bols Strawberry Top Up with Double Heavy Cream

Directions: Shake all ingredients with ice and strain into ice-filled Rocks glass. Top up with whipped creme and strawberry slices.

Moogle Straight (Final Fantasy Mixed Drink)

Fill a Glass with Ice Then add: 1 shot vodka 1 shot triple sec 1 shot vanilla liqueur Grapefruit juice to fill

Top with Cherry and 1-2 Moogle Wings (May require innovation)

Tastiest moogle this side of the Bisga Greenlands.

Your blog would be a lot more interesting if you came up with some stuff on your own. I already subscribe to the drunken moogle, why would I want to read a blog where all you do is reblog their stuff?

I reblog for recipes as I am not trained It's very simple, if you don't wanna read my blog, don'tIt's mostly a reference for me for things I'm personally interested in, so I don't have to sift through everything on the Drunken Moogle So, if you don't like it, leave; simple as that. I can run my blog however I may want, and like I said, it's for personal reference, not for followers or anything of the like. It's just a place for me to keep the recipes that *I* personally want or would like to try.It ain't about public interest, it's about mine, so fuck off.

The Princess Is In Another Castle (Super Mario Mixed Drink)

Ingredients: 1 part Peach Schnapps 1 part Amaretto 1 part Southern Comfort 1 part Apple Schnapps 6 parts Cranberry Juice

After jumping on hundreds of goombas and going down pipes only to find that the princess wasn’t even at the castle, Mario deserves more than a kiss.  Sorry, no picture today.

Ingredients: 1 cl Absinthe or Pernod 1 cl Bols Mint 2 cl Sourz Apple 1 cl Lime Juice 2 cl Apple Juice 1 cl Chilled Water

Directions: Shake all ingredients with ice and fine strain into Cocktail glass.  Add a single ice cube.

Life Stream (Final Fantasy VII Mixed Drink)

Ingredients:

4 cl Barcardi Lemon 1 cl Peppermint Green 3 cl Apple Juice 1 cl Lime Sprite

Directions: Shake first with the top 4 ingredients. Then top up with Sprite in a Highballs Glass filled with ice cubes.

Remember when Cloud fell in the Life Stream and spent the next few days babbling in a drunken stupor?  Yeeeeah.

Super Mario Shot (In honor of New Super Mario Brothers for the Wii) Ingredients: 1 cl Grenadine 1 cl Blue Bols 1 cl Tequila silver

Directions: Add the Grenadine first. Then pour Bols, slowly over a bar spoon. The Tequila goes on top.
