Here's to 2017! It has been a year filled with new and exciting things. This year, I found a new job, a new career path, a new cat, and even a new smile. I watched my brother get married, I finally was officially awarded my diploma, and I learned to trust in myself more and that has allowed me to find a new inner peace within myself. <3 And here's to 2018. A year that will begin with a new job and a year that will hopefully consist of photo projects, concerts, and traveling. I'm also hoping that this will finally be the year that people start booking photo sessions with me. #HappyNewYears

I've been thinking a lot about the upcoming new year, and instead of all this "New Year, New Me" crap that I say every year, I've decided to focus my energy on something different this time around.. In the next few weeks, I'm going to be writing down a list of different things (like a bucket list) to do next year. The whole idea of this is to challenge myself to get out of my comfort zone, so every week of 2018 I'll be attempting to check off something from the list. I want 2018 to be a year full of adventure and I feel like turning a bucket list into a challenge will make it even more achievable and fun. Besides, what's more fun than a scavenger hunt? Anyways, I want the list to consist of easy to achieve things at first but get harder as the year progresses onward. So.. I'm currently taking suggestions on what sort of things should go on the list. On the last day of 2017, I'll be posting the task list for 2018 and on January 1st, 2018, The challenge begins! I will post a photo or video each week of the completed task. At the end of the year, if at least 25 items on the list have been checked off, I'll make this a traditional thing. (: *Your suggestions can be as crazy as Skydiving or as simple as a Mani/Pedi* I'm game for anything!

After a good hour, I finally found some tickets I could afford! This was my first presale experience and I hated it! It was absolutely frustrating and I'm glad it's over. Anyways, I originally planned to get tickets for the Columbus, Ohio show (because it's on my birthday), but it looks like we'll be going back to Chicago (a day before my mom's birthday) again. I'm not too sure what kind of a view these seats will provide but I'm just happy we get to go! @taylorswift @taylornation #reputation #reputationtour2018 #brokenow
