Just finished reading “Simply Keto” and I want to start this new lifestyle tomorrow. I want to stay responsible without having a Youtube channel or something so I figure Tumblr is best. Wish me luck!

Government, Monty Python Style
Still brilliantly funny all these years later.
BEST INSULTS
whenever i find monty python casually just on my dashboard i just blink a few times and then get super fucking excited because i don’t see them as much as i’d like to on tumblr
If I don’t reblog Monty Python when it crosses my dash, assume I’m dead.
This is one of my favorite memes of the year
an actual video of me in any math class ever.

I LEARNED A THING
EVERYONE NEEDS TO KNOW THIS OMFG
If I’m to ever to have a daughter: If I ever have a daughter, I will have my hands full Because braiding hair accented with pink barrettes can be quite the challenge But I will be prepared for the challenges far more complex than trying to find missing Hollister jeans on Monday mornings If I ever have a daughter, I will teach her to be courageous. Because I will watch her climb on that yellow school bus with a butterfly backpack to match the ones in her stomach And I will reward her for conquering her first-day-fears If I ever have a daughter I will teach her about happiness Because I will also watch her come off that same yellow school bus in tears And if for some reason someone were to show her what hate is — I will to show her how lucky she is that she’s not them If I ever have a daughter, I will teach her to be independent Because she will someday become too familiar with the feeling of Sitting alone at lunch But she’ll know that being by herself Is much better than engaging in toxic friendships If I ever have a daughter I will teach her to be confident Because if she wants to wear blue eyeshadow and sing out of tune Or wear 6 inch heels There wouldn’t be a doubt in my mind she won’t because she will be fearless enough to And if I ever have a daughter I will never make negative comments about my own body image Because I don’t want to see her to start counting calories and habitually weighing herself Somehow thinking that that number connects to the value of her worth If I ever have a daughter I will try to protect her But I will also teach her to defend herself Because there will be many frogs she’ll kiss And when that cute boy puts his hand on her inner thigh when she doesn’t want him to She’ll know exactly how hard to punch with her fist If I ever have a daughter I will also teach her about heartbreak Because there will come a time where she is on her bed crying and I will tell her that it feels like it’s the end of the world And I’ll hold her tight to make sure she knows what real love feels like And if I ever have a daughter I will teach her that it’s okay to make mistakes If she falls on the sidewalk and rips her dress she’ll be able to laugh at herself and if she does something wrong she’ll learn to forgive herself If I ever have a daughter, I will trust her I will let her sleepover her best friends house knowing she won’t sneak out to go to that party And I will allow her to change her major from law to art because she knows more about herself than I do And if I ever have a daughter I will be the best mother that I can be Because she will need someone to look up to Someone to count on And if she’s ever to have a daughter I hope she teachers her these same things That my mother taught me.

I'm pregnant with my baby girl and I'm due in September. This is truly beautiful.
This trend though
Amazing
hillary clinton won a plea bargain while defending a child rapist who she knew to be guilty. part of her defense was that the 12 year old girl “sought older men” and was “emotionally unstable”. she was recorded laughing & making jokes about it, and when the tapes surfaced to the media years later, she said she was just doing what she had to do to the best of her ability. stop idolizing her as your feminist icon.
and don’t give me shit about how “all politicians are evil”. No, this is on a whole different level.

Reblog if you've been offended by the words of your own parents.
I want to know if I’m the only one.
fucking shit
Definitely.
sooooo many times.
The amount of notes makes me sad
Wow the number makes me sad.
But of course
"I’m so ashamed of you, I could die" -My mother last night.
heteronormativity for dummies or, “why homophobes aren’t the only problem”
You will not believe the shit I get for correcting people when they talk about my daughter like this. Just stop fucking assigning sexualities to babies jfc straight people
Are you kidding me? All babies care about is faces and their world. They aren’t registering, “lbgtq people are bad,” As a baby. A flirty baby is not predisposed to only flirt with a specific gender, it’s just an outgoing baby.
When children get older is when they ask questions, gay parents or straight parents, which is usually around four years old. Then say, “love is love” when they ask questions and leave it that. Questions get more complicated when they get older and Google helps… Or the lesbian aunt helps. Every child should have a gay family member, they explain things better.
So before people generalize all heterosexual parents are bad how about being grateful they are doing the best they can to teach equality in a world that’s still learning.
And before I get hate, I am a parent to three kids. They are the most loving and unbiased kiddos I know. They even have gone to my friend’s transgender husband and her wedding. Kids are innocent and the bigger deal you make out of something the more they think you're being weird. Say everyone has a right to love and they’re good. Besides, they are too young to figure out dating and attraction, that’s the puberty/when they bring it up conversation.
one day you’ll wake up at 11:30 AM on a Sunday with the love of your life and you’ll make some coffee and pancakes and it’ll all be alright
Fact: I tried to kill myself when I was 18 and yesterday, at 26, I woke up to this exact thing.
This gives me so much hope
Later on you'll wake up to the love of your life at 4am, rush to the bathroom and throw up miserable as hell. However you'll be glad you never went through your plans of suicide when you were younger because instead of destroying one life, in the end you're creating a beautiful one.
That moment when an artist is blindfolded and they're still a better drawer than you.
Kurdish Warrior Women fearlessly fighting the evils of ISIS at every turn. Made especially fierce by the knowledge of what ISIS will do to them if they are captured. And made an especially effective due to the fact that ISIS fighters believe that if killed by a woman they will be chastised in the afterlife.
I’m really mad that this doesn’t have more notes. Middle Eastern feminists don’t joke around.
The last one… bravest warriors. They have my biggest respect.
