Hi everyone (or to those still following me), I’m sort of back, but not really as I’ve been busy with my final year in uni, and assignments have been taking my time. Hopefully I’ll be able to do light RPs very soon, but in the mean time, I’ll just reblog and observe for a bit. <3

I love this scene.

The nodding of approval towards Lex’s birthday wish from Lionel (an enthusiastic nod at that and I’m surprised he’d give leeway to Lex), a smile on his face.

You could see that Lionel isn’t accustomed to family affections, surprise which is later replaced with a genuine happiness- a hug from his son and he hugs in return.

This was true family bonding. Lionel did try to be a good father and from what Lilian thought of Lionel and his intentions with Lex and Julian, this scene proves the opposite.

With reservations to keep, Kira’s not gone too long. She drains three pints, enough to leave their stalker dizzy but coherent enough to answer a few questions and send him on his merry way, back to his master with nothing to tell. Checking her watch on her inner wrist, she joins Lionel at the door right on time, and clings to his arm lest they not let her in otherwise. Her coat’s open, sleeves hanging off her elbows to show off a corset bodice of pure white contrasting her olive skin well, neck and shoulders bare, tulle skirt seemingly endless with a high slit up her left thigh. “Do tell me you’ve an appetite, my dear.” She teases in close quarters. It’s taking everything within her not to nuzzle his shoulder in public.

Whilst she was away, there were some familiar faces heading into the grand hall, with the maître d'hôtel welcoming them in. He greeted some with a slight smile or a nod of acknowledgement and made small talks with his associates. And in fact she had returned just in a moment, his arm hooked with hers, their fingers entwined as she joined him. She was all the more glowing, which made Lionel smiled brightly.

He raised a brow, lips still drawn into a smile. “I do. I’ve heard that the menu tonight is quite spectacular.” “You’re certainly ravishing, my dear.” He whispered in her ear as the maître d'hôtel recognized Lionel and led the both of them to their seats, the soft melody played by a quartet accompanying them. Ever the gentleman, he helped Kira to her seat, fingers brushing lightly along her arms. He took his seat and the waiter handed them the menus.
