Hi everyone,

I’m so sorry but I’m gonna have to put this RP back on hiatus. We are having someone retire at work right before summer vacations and several big shows and events and my work is gonna involve a lot of extra hours and I’m also trying to move and at the same time 😬 🙃

I've been thinking about what other grandchildren @forgottenaurelian may have/the martial situation of his other kids and unless you guys have any thoughts this sorta came to me in a fever dream last night

Severin Solemont - was in a loveless marriage to some rich and wealthy noble OVN noblewoman since he was like 17 or something. Severin never fathered any children by her and it has recently come out that Severin had had an affair with one of his servants and (much to his father's horror) he recently legitimized the daughter he had with her after her death. Her name is Anwen and she is 24 years old and is definitely more at home in the kitchens than above stairs, but is trying to please her father, step-mother, and new extended family, but she finds herself feeling out of place.

Ulric Solemont - has been married for nearly as long as his older brother but with much more success. He and his wife had five children: Seraphina, 26 (responsible, composed, protective); Aurelius, 25 (charismatic, confident, disciplined); Elara, 24 (thoughtful, perceptive, empathetic); Lucasta, 22 (clever, mischievous, sarcastic); Caspian, 21 (sensitive, curious, imaginative)

Helena Solemont - desperately wants to become the OVN equivalent of a nun, but her father is determined to stop that eventuality and use her as a chessboard. She secretly sabotaged the last engagement her father made for her.

Emeric Solemont - was engaged once, but his fiancé died

(Unsure how many of these kids/grandkids will eventually be playable, but I wanted to iron out the rest of the family tree)

the betrayal fractured odile's sense of love and loyalty forever, teaching her early that survival mattered more than sentiment

in the workhouse, odile was mocked mercilessly for her tales of royalty and destiny

in her late teens, odile escaped the workhouse and became determined to claim a life that fit the grandeur she had once been promised

she fell into a loose collection of pickpockets, grifters and performers

with them, she became especially skilled at the art of disguise which allows her to slip between identities with ease

her favorite persona is a charming, well-dressed man she refers to as her "brother", a figure who can move more freely through spaces denied to women

as her brother, she is confident, flirtatious, disarming, and capable of talking her way into anything

her past resurfaced when a merchant's daughter recognized the crest on her locket

she presented herself to house fell, demanding both recognition and answers

house fell, sensing opportunity, sends odile to astaira as an asset, to be shaped into whatever version best restores their influence ...

on the surface he and roderick are allies, but beneath it all lies both rivalry and mutual manipulations

aurelian views foreign cultures as tools or threats, but never equals

conquest to him is not merely political, but corrective

of all of his children, marian is his greatest success!!

inserting the solement blood into the imperial line has moved aurelian the closest he has ever been to obtaining his goal!

he's also v proud that she has given roderick three heirs, while the other wives have only produced 1 child each

he may or may not have been behind many political deaths (including those that helped roderick, himself, obtain the throne)

and with amira varmont expecting another child and eilia stafford poised to become roderick's next wife, there may be others who need to be eliminated ...

his own ten children were fathered out of legacy and the desire to have as many pieces on the board with solemont loyalties as possible

he is far from proud of all of his children still, love is not absent, but it is conditional, and it is measured by their usefulness to house solemont's restoration
