Ok, sooooo in that she’s the ~law and he’s kind of *shifty eyes* not always above board, hahaha! Ummm, I’m not sure how well they’d get along??? Do you have anything in mind?

Hahahaha omg noooo they so would not get along?? Like Sarah wouldn't be tooo concerned about him, b/c she's dealing with life and death cases so she wouldn't really dislike him unless she suspected he murdered someone, but I think she'd have her eye on him just the same. Like I think she'd have one convo with him and would get that he's not always a very genuine person and yeah. So they are both staying at the Bates Motel, so they could def meet there?? Maybe they are ~neighbors b/c I'm sure he'd loooovvveee being next door to a cop and she'd loooovvvee being next door to someone she thinks is an ass. ;DDD

She is a homicide detective so they would totally work together BECAUSE ALL THE DEATH!!!! :D So, I think that Sarah would like Rick well enough?? Like, I think he'd probably be one of the people she most respect in the police force, tbh. But the thing about Sarah is that she has an extreme like idk connection with her cases and will do anything to solve them/prove her theories correct and will go against commands to get things done, which I feel like would rub Rick the wrong way probably??

OMG THAT’S PERFECT.  Claire would love her, then.  hahaha  I feel like Claire just kind of needs a confidence boost: she simply doesn’t think she has it in her to give her baby the life he deserve, yknow?  Bc she was raised by a single parent, essentially, and that obv ended really well and yeah.  But seeing these other strong women, like Lorelai and Sarah, I think will really help her.  Also, that extra fact of HOW Sarah grew up will, I think, really help because she obv doesn’t want that for her kid, yknow?  Plus, Sarah had a boy and Claire will, too (& with the benefit of technology, she’d know this, even tho she somehow knew on the island, too, but anyway).

I think she’d also be like ~wow bc Sarah is so intensely dedicated, yknow?  and I can see her, in her own way, trying to mother Sarah, insofar as making sure she eats and that kind of thing.  HAHAHAH

I feel like Sarah would be kinda conflicted with her advice for Claire. And like, I think she'd want to help her make the right choice, bc it's a super important thing. But like okay, so she knows how horrible the system is, but she also feels like she's totally failed her son (although not so much as she would have failed him to leave him with his father). And I think she'd let Claire know that it's NOT an easy choice and either way you are probably going to do the "what ifs" in your head, but at the end of the day, I think she'd totally believe that Claire is strong enough to be a mom on her own. And I think she might like easily confess to Claire that she hasn't been the best mom (she's pretty thing about to most ppl. And is like Jack should be with me, etc.), but I think she'd be more honest with someone like Claire who wouldn't judge her, you know?? Also, though, I think Claire would probably meet Jack, too, and see that he's a good kid, despite everything. :DD

Also, d'awww!! I can see Claire like coming to Sarah's room at like weird hours bc she can't sleep bc sleeping when you are pregnant can't be easy?? plus all of Claire's stress and like Sarah keeps weird hours (she actually keeps like all the hours, haha) and she'd always be up if she was around and Claire is like, "I brought fooooddd! And ~go shower while I make it. Also, do you have any laundry???" ;DD

And Sarah would kinda smirk and be like, "Wow, you are already a great mom," basically.

I can see her being one of those customers he’s always after about taking care of themselves.  I also feel like, though, he’d be like GO DO YOUR JOB (not that she needs that push) bc whoa we all need those murderers taken care of (esp since crime has gone up 300000000000% lately ;DDDD).  But he’d also want to know things, I think, until it gets to actual wounds/hospitals.  ;DDD  Also, I feel like he’d want her advice in how to fortify the Gilmore house, basically, bc lbr they need all the hope they can get.  ;DDD

Anyway, yes, friendly relationship with burgers sounds great!!  ;DDDD

Hahaha, omggg. Actually, I think that Sarah probably needs even more help with like the basic needs of life than any of his other customers (even Lorelai like whoaaa ... but at least Lorelai definitely remembers to feed herself and her kid. ;DD) 

ALSO DYING FOREVER ABOUT HIM ASKING ADVICE ON HOW TO FORTIFY THE GILMORE HOUSE, HAHA. Luke is adorable, btw. ;DDD She's pretty cautious, too, so she'd probably give him the heads up, too, if like ~crazy serial killers are on the loose (which they ALWAYS are anymore. I actually feel like in this Sarah would literally kill herself bc of over exhaustion, haha) bc wow she has a friend and she cares about her friends.

Okay, so I think it'd be really funny if Sarah was working a murder case that the Winchesters were looking into. b/c she's pretty protective of her crime scenes and I think would be like ~death stare if the FBI or whatever got involved and I really think she'd hate running into Dean everywhere and like she does have a sense of humor but it's pretty much zero when she's on the job and she'd just like "..." with Dean. Like idekkkk like if she heard him questioning witnesses/suspects and asking weird things, she'd just be like "OMG WHY ARE YOU DOING YOUR JOB SO WRONG?!!" And basically be that much more motivated to do things herself bc WTF FBI. Also, I feel like she'd be the last person in the entire world to believe in ANYTHING supernatural, so yeah. Basically, their interactions would be awesome and hilarious.

Okay, so Sarah is a homicide detective who was supposed to leave town/retire, but ends up staying when she starts work on a new case days before she leaves and gets too involved and yeah. So, anyway, she's sold her house/apartment and is basically staying at the Bates Motel/then later the Independence Inn and she'd probably meet Claire there? And I think she'd probably make a point to get to know her when she realizes that she's pregnant and going to be a single mom, b/c she raised her son on her own, too, and like knows 1000% what it's like to do it by yourself. She's also an orphan, so she knows what it's like in the system if you don't get adopted and basically she'd advise her against giving him up unless she knows he's going to be adopted. And while Sarah really doesn't have many friends b/c she's a total workaholic, I think she'd take a real interest in Claire and just want to make sure that she's okay and is there for her if she needs anything. <3

Okay, so if you don't watch the Killing, you might wanna go read my comment to Alana first, b/c there's a lot of explaining about who Sarah is in that and I don't feel like retyping it. But anyway, what I don't think I said, is that Sarah was going to retire from her job as a cop and move away with her son, when like on the last few days she's here she gets assigned to work a murder investigation and I was going to have it be something supernatural, but maybe it was one of Hannibal's murders? And then when it gets taken over by the FBI she'll be all "hell no that is my case and i'm gonna find out what happened" and she's kinda ~quietly doing her own investigation? Because once she's attached to a case, she's in it 4LIFE basically. Also, I was thinking that Alana would be her psychiatrist but idk maybe she's gone to see Hannibal for like a second opinion or something?? B/c she's really trying to get out of therapy all together, haha.

So Sarah here is a homicide detective who is like 1000% obsessed with her job and eating is kinda an after thought. Also she never cooks anything ever so take out is something she's hugely grateful for, otherwise she'd just live on vending machines (she actually does a good bit of that actually, haha.) Anyway, I can see her coming into Luke's during odd times and I feel like they'd actually get on pretty well - not that they'd actually be friends friends, but like yeah. She keeps to herself mostly, but she can be friendly when she wants to be and I mean, she's not someone who would get on Luke's nerves, I don't think.

OKAY, SO I'VE BEEN THINKING ABOUT THESE TWO A LOT AND I HAVE A LOT OF IDEAS/FEELS, SO IDK HOW THIS IS GOING TO COME OUT?? But let me know if it's confusing at all bc I'm thinking faster than I type. OK

So, this is Sarah Linden. She's a homicide detective and she's seen a lot of horrible things. She's kinda like Will Graham in that she has a strong sense of empathy towards the victims (vs the murderers) of the crimes and can kinda get inside their heads. And she's kinda obsessive about her cases and a total workaholic and just kinda gets completely emerged in them and doesn't eat or sleep. Anyway, she had this one case that completely consumed her and she actually spent a short time in a mental ward b/c of it. Anyway, I thinking that maybe Alana is her psychiatrist?? And she has to see her every week or whatever and get Alana's approval that she's not unstable and has to go back to the mental hospital??

And I can see where Alana would find Sarah to be an interesting patient? I mean, not nearly so much as Will, but still? And I feel like Sarah would have this weird kinda respect for Alana, but at the same time, she feels like this whole thing is stupid and she doesn't need counseling, she just needs to be back out on the job and this is a waste of time? Anyway, thoughts??

Okay, so I think that Sarah might be a guest for awhile at Bates Motel. She's a homicide detective who was getting ready to move away from Hillwood with her kid when there's a murder case (I'm probs gonna have it be like with vampires or werewolves or something in this RP so it'll really drive her crazy as to what happened, haha) that she's assigned to on like her last days and she doesn't want to leave in the middle of it and hand it over to someone else, so anyway she's sold her house and has no where to live while she works, so I can see her crashing at the Bates Motel temporarily (although when she realizes she's in this for the long haul, I think she'd go to the Independence where it's nice, haha). 

ANYWAY, I think she'd really like it there at first, because she'd be all "hell yeah single mom moving to new town to raise her kid" b/c that's basically what she was trying to do before work got in the way. And I think she'd have a real respect for Norma, even if I think she'd feel like there's something a little off about her. And Norman's about the age of her own kid, so she'd probably be like "you guys should hang out together" so she doesn't feel so bad about leaving Jack alone all the time. 

But then when ppl start dying at Bates Motel and the cops are there all the time, she'd be like "..." and probs suspicious of them and 1000% ready to get the hell outta dodge. 

But at the start, anyway, I think she'd like Norman and kinda be glad to have some friends in the Bates b/c I don't think she has many friends because you are looking @ Hillwood's #1 workaholic right here. THat being said, idk that Norma would really like her that much?? Like i don't think she'd really trust her, but I can see her being nice and whatnot b/c Sarah's a paying customer, etc.
