A note on colouring:

I’ve given Renly and Stannis brown eyes to reflect their appearence in the Game of Thrones TV series.

Cassana’s hair colour was inspired by Kerry Ingram who plays Shireen so beautifully in the series. I just thought it’d be all kinds of sweet if she took after her grandma.

Alana turned, watching her king leave and whispered to herself, “Jealous? Why should he be jealous?” The relationship between them was so obvious that it was like trying to keep a direwolf in her tent. Still, the thought of making Loras jealous was very appealing no matter what her thought on his relationship was. So she kept the dress on, tucking her dagger on her thigh and then keeping one sword on a belt around her waist.

As she walked to the mess tent, she could feel hundreds of eyes looking at her. Her hair was down, flowing behind her shoulders. Maybe this was a bad idea, but it was too late now. “Your Grace,” Alana curtsied entering the tent before taking her seat beside him. Her blue eyes glanced over to Ser Loras. The fire in his eyes took her off guard. He WAS jealous, but why?

It was difficult for Renly to suppress his laughter at the angry gaze Loras was currently giving Alana. He hadn’t had time to tell the girl exactly why Ser Loras would be jealous of her, but it was clear that he, indeed, was. Renly smirked at how his lover stared at the young girl.

Tonight, Alana had a seat of honor next to Renly, to congratulate her on her acceptance into his Kingsguard. She was only the second woman to earn such an esteemed spot. Leaning over, Renly was able to whisper to her without Loras hearing; after all, the noise from conversations starting again made it difficult to hear anyone. “He’s jealous because you’re in his seat tonight. He’s also envious that I’ve bought you such a dress. I'm afraid Ser Loras believes any amount of money I spend outside of military costs should be spent on him and that’s it.” Renly laughed now, figuring that the nature of his relationship with Loras must be quite obvious by now. It was best for the girl to know, he reasoned.

Renly woke up in what looked to be a dirty hotel room. He could have sworn that he had just been out dancing, and his choice of clothes certainly indicated that. So what the hell had happened? 

His hands weren’t tied, but his hair felt wrecked--had he drunkenly slept with a stranger? That's when Renly saw him. He was lean, a bit short, but had just enough facial hair to accentuate his facial structure. What really stood out about the man was his eyes--large and a very light blue. Renly smiled when he saw him; at least he had good taste when he was black out drunk.

“You ready for round two, then?” Renly asked, assuming they had shared the night together. Why not enjoy each other’s company sober now?
