We were pretty much directly responsible for outsys partner (we don't call them psys, they don't call themself/themselves a system, and it's not really collective for either, just cores) syspluralcovery, now they have like 13 people and there are a total of three relationships between us/our headmates including cores :]

today's my 1st birthday! it feels like both just yesterday and a millenia ago that i split, then a few days later found myself standing in the middle of a Jimmy John's with a broom not knowing what the fuck was going on. and now i have so many great people around me, headmates who love me, and an incredible partner system who has taught me everything there is to know about becoming my own person.

i know a split isn't always something to be celebrated, but i've learned that my existence was for good. i'm an essential part of us, and i'm helping us get stronger every day, so with encouragement from my fellow headmates, i'm celebrating just how far i've come today!

thank you to everyone who made this past year so wonderful to me. thank you to @thetarotcollective for being incredible partners, especially to my baby mallory for being the most incredible girlfriend of all time. i love you all so much and i cant wait to spend the rest of my life with those i love most!

played tomodachi life 2 demo today and it made me so happy to see me, my in-sys boyfriend, and our main psys partner on an island ALL TOGETHER!! LIKE THATS US!! IN OUR OWN LITTLE BODIES!! :D

Since everyone's quite up in arms about Simply Plural stopping updates and the likes, if you want to start transferring data to a spreadsheet if you don't like any other app options (or just want a backup list) we made one for ourselves before so here's a blank template you can bounce off of for your own use

I didn't add a slot for images because I hate how it looks having a giant box for everything else to make an image visible in just one row. You could do row 1 as images and change the headers to be going down instead, but if you want to keep count of how many you add, you can't really do that when your rows are lettered

Of course if it doesn't bother you than add a column in front of everything and add images there

I am a fully diagnosed DID system - I used to be anti-endo until a number of months ago when I had a startling realisation that made me reconsider everything:

Restricting the definition of who a label/concept can be applied to falls under the same philosophy that the systems that oppress the disabled fall under.

That is to say - restricting access so that imagined invaders and "appropriators" won't get in.

The endo "invaders" are not oppressors in any fashion. Hating them because our oppressors "won't take us seriously because of them" is joining the war on the side of the oppressors. It's only fighting ableism until the oppressors call out a target that's easy enough to punch down on.

We, as a community, can be better, more compassionate than that. Is this truly what being "radical" is? Stop punching down. For your own sake, too. Is this really the "good fight" you want to win? To remove all the "weirdos who don't belong?"

To my friends who still feel hurt, I understand. But the people you are fighting do not want to hurt you. They just want to understand their own individual human experience. If they are angry at us, they are not in the wrong. You know that rage, too, at being told that what you are is not real, or is impossible to take seriously.

You have been taught to value an idea of a "real" experience based in science. But that science is so limited. The DSM-5 is not a bible, it is written with the intent of treating us, making us more palatable, "worth our place in society". It is not something we should be thumping to ward off "impure" things. We do not need purity. We do not need sanctity. We need safety and community, so we need to build it.

If we view endos, willos, or any type of system as a pest, we will choke ourselves with pesticide to eradicate them. This is not kindness. This is not acceptance. It is cruelty.

Do not give in to the desire to punch down. It will kill you.

being anti-endo requires questioning systems to loudly proclaim that they have trauma just to be welcomed into their own community, which makes it very, very easy for them to be retraumatized. being anti-endo encourages questioning systems to search long-packed-away memories to find trauma that is "bad enough" or happened "at the right time" in order to feel valid before they are in a safe place to process it, which makes it very, very easy for them to be retraumatized. being anti-endo encourages questioning systems to ignore their system that is trying to help them because they don't think their trauma was "bad enough", which means that if they are now safe to process what they've forgotten or are refusing to acknowledge the severity of, that healing and growth will be delayed further.

being anti-endo going by the DSM-5 ignores that this is hardly used outside the USA. being anti-endo going by the DSM-5 ignores that the diagnostic criteria lists that plurality cannot be "part of a religious practice" in order to be diagnosed as DID or OSDD-1, which means that spiritual plurality has been regarded to exist - non-disordered plurality is regarded to exist by the DSM-5. it is not that you can't be plural if it isn't disordered and traumagenic, it just means that they will not treat spiritual plurality.

being anti-endo, harassing systems who identify as endogenic or anything except traumagenic, traumatizes them. full stop. the human experience is deeper than a book can describe and it is not our fucking place to tell someone what to do or how to describe their experience. i understand that you hate that someone might be plural without all the trauma that caused your plurality, but why is your instinct to harm and ostracize them instead of simply ignoring them? you don't even have to interact with them if you can't get past that dissonance. just don't chase them out of plural spaces

i also think that the presence of endogenic systems, if it was louder, would allow traumagenic systems to explain their plurality to people they trust without having to immediately follow up with "but, like, im safe now, haha, and it wasn't even really that bad, and it's definitely not like the movies that show all the child abuse onscreen in detail, i mean my parents weren't great, y'know, but-" in order to not be smothered with worry and questions about their trauma. same way straight people calling their partners their partners, instead of boyfriend or girlfriend, allows queer people to fly under the radar just a little

being anti-endo harms endogenics and traumagenics. it harms diagnosed systems and questioning systems. it harms everyone on the spectrum of plurality.

what really sucks is simply plural was such a great system that provided such a specific need. I really hope someone uses the idea and makes it even better!! I hated octocon and its numbering system, contemplating pk even though I dont use discord, I'm just frustrated.

no hate to the creators, I get it! but with the subscriptions and the patreon, you'd think they could hire another person to help them? or they could sell it to a team who would do something with it instead of just throw away years of hard work? its just a bit nonsensical to me, but it doesn't have to make sense, it isnt my decision.

not sure what we'll use to track fronting from here. it's tough. maybe we'll try ampersand, it just sucks there's no friend feature, its really helpful for me and my partner system to know who's fronting when, but we figure it out.

if anyone has any better resources/ideas pleeeeease let me know.
