Killian sighed softly at the hug and relaxed a little. He'd been especially riled up today for some reason. Perhaps because Ultra seemed ever so close as per usual. "Thank you. I did."
Just being closer to Killian and actually hugging him, made her feel less lonely. "Glad to be of help," she spoke into his back, still hugging him. Caelan really didn't want to let him go, it was too much of a comfort to her.

Caelan pressed her face even more against Killian's back as her hands rested on his stomach. She frowned slightly, not exactly wanting to admit to why she was here.
"You looked like you could use a hug."
"Oh is that a thing we can do? Now that would be fun."
She was sat on the stairs, eating an apple while watching people pass her by. The world was so different, and Aurora was still adjusting to life in a time she was not born in, or had grown up in. The clothes felt so different, and it was hard for her to adjust. She had luckily found some friends who had helped her get clothes she was comfortable in. It was why she had simple dresses, and some blankets, which she mainly used as cloaks and wrapped around her shoulders.
It was how she was currently sat, wrapped up with a blanket around her shoulders, and underneath her so she wasn't sat directly on the cold stone stairs. Most people who passed by, barely even noticed her, mainly because they had their faces buried in a small device she'd been told was called a phone. Aurora couldn't understand why someone would be so focused on such a small thing instead of surveying the surroundings, no matter how drab and boring they might be. Even if there were a lot more buildings now than what she could remember ever seeing, she found most of them beautiful. There was a kind of art to them. It was why she had on several occasions painted them while being out on the balcony of her friend's apartment.
"What is that? I've never seen anything like it."

Caspian whined. Actually he did sorta have a pack? The king was silent for a moment. He wanted to find a good way to explain this. Caspian looked down at his feet then back at the man. “ I am actually a royal, king caspian, and well i guess i have my own pack, kingdom i suppose.” he says. The Lupine king didn’t know how this man will respond. He sounded like he was speaking nonsense but it was the truth. He really was a king. A king from an island of wolves called Lupos.
He tilted his head at the sound of the whine, partially to listen and make sure it wasn't his daughter, who was almost a year and a half by now. It only took him a second or two to realise it was the man, no the king in front of him. "Having a kingdom, I would believe is not the same as having a pack. Or rather, I'd assume your pack is not as close knit as the one I belong to." Addison said as he tried to piece things together. He had heard about royalty who were werewolves, but he had thought they had only been rumours. He had never met one before, and didn't know if he would ever meet another. "You are more than welcome here King Caspian, but do not expect my pack to know you're royal or treat you as such." He was not trying to be rude, he just knew what the members of his pack were like. They usually avoided outsiders and only treated them kindly if he himself did.

Life was far from normal for Aurora, being far into the future, without any living family was overwhelming for her. It was why when she had found an art event in a nearby park, she attended it. It felt normal for her, and it allowed her to feel normal, and not completely out of place. Especially since the modern language for art was still similar enough to whence she came from, that it was normalcy for her. Albeit, her clothing was much more modern. Something she had grown used to much faster than anything else. Especially since the clothes were softer, and easier to get in and out of. However, she still chose to wear dresses most of the time, because she felt more comfortable in them.
She listened to the person who had arranged the whole painting event, and how there would be a contest one could participate in to win. Something Aurora wasn't particularly interested in, mainly because she wasn't fond of attracting attention. Humming to herself she continue to paint the scene before her, two models sat on a blanket, picnicking.

"Well, do you want to try to go shopping again? We can get some money from Theo's mom, maybe, we can find something softer and more to your liking." He offered. He made himself a sandwich, mostly fish with some lettuce and cheese, before turning back to the living room. Rosie snuffled in her bed, happily teething on her lamb chop toy.
"No, I would prefer it if we did not go there. Others tend to stare. I do not like it," Aurora spoke softly going between reading and looking over at August. "What are you eating, it smells... less appetising." Her werewolf sense were making themselves more and more known as she got more comfortable around Theo and August, and learned to trust them.
@thelovelymuses asked: Aurora was sat with her nose in one of the books she'd found in the living room, wearing one of August sweaters. Mostly because she had gotten cold and it was close by.
"Is that comfortable?" August asked, pulling open the fridge. They had tried to keep it stocked more with stuff she presumably could like, rather than the uber-bland and soft food he and Theo would routinely eat. The sweater looked fine enough on her - probably fit better than anything Theo would own.
She glanced up from the book and smiled. "Yes. It is warm, and very soft, unlike some of the other shirts," Aurora said as she watched August move around the small kitchen. She turned her attention back to the book. It was one detailing some modern inventions, and it helped her understand this strange world.
"It's okay. Look, Theo and I talked about it. We could get you a less ... well, weird phone, but it would make you stick out even more." August said. He stood, sighing, and reached out.
"Okay. Okay. You're right, it's too much. I guess we were lucky..." August frowned, trying to think of a plan. "What if I I taught you how to use the voice commands? Just the basic ones for start."
"No... This one will do just fine. I just... need more time learning how to use it," she said, dead set on actually figuring the phone out. Even though it was extremely foreign to her. Some of the modern things, she had gotten used to, like the difference in clothes. But the technology, that was something much harder for Aurora to grasp.
"Voice commands?" she frowned and narrowed her eyes as she looked at the device that was called a phone. "As in I talk to it and it will do things?"

"Nope, not how it's done," August piped up from the couch. Rosie shook her head roughly, the toy in her mouth squeaking happily each time she did. August sighed, and finally turned to look at Aurora. "The call icon is in green, with a kind of U-Shaped white symbol. The text icon has the white envelope. You're getting better, though, I mean, you were like, 99% of the way there."
She frowned down at the so called telephone in her hands. The corners of her lips turning down all of their own. "I still do not quite understand how it works. I appreciate the effort, but it is still too foreign," Aurora sighed as she put the phone back down on the table next to her.

"That seems logical," Theo nodded. He did know a slight bit more than her on how to be safe in these parts. "How have you been feeling?"
"Confused. Sad. The world is so different from what I am used to.," Aurora spoke softly, the sadness visible in her features. She mourned the loss of the life she had had, and she mourned the loss of her parents, even though she hadn't get to see them die. They had died in the past, long ago, a past which was supposed to be her future. Except she had ended up in the actual future, hundreds of years into the future.
"The weirdest thing to adapt to, are the clothes. So very different from what I am used to."
