ANYWAYS, I don’t know when I’ll be coming back to Gumillia more permanently, to be honest with you. I am SO CONFUSED by all this new information, and it’s a bit overwhelming. However, I have to admit, I miss rping with you guys!!! The Evillious Chronicles fandom was my first tumblr rp family, so you all mean a lot to me.
SOOOO, although this might go up in smoke (sure, Evillious feels, smack me in the face when I start school in a WEEK), I’m considering taking up another Evillious muse!! Right now I’m considering Riliane, Kayo, or Mariam. Any help deciding would be appreciated! I’m open to other suggestions, as well, but I tend to be more biased towards female muses, and I’m pretty confused by the Sloth, Greed, and End Arcs, so I should probably stay away from those muses.
I can’t WAIT to start rping with you guys again, so respond as quickly as you can, okay~?))

Desire ~ Closed RP with milky-8
"Eh—?" Milky wheeled around at the sound of a foreign accent.
Before her stood a young woman, yes, attractive, and maybe even exotic. Her accent… hard to place, but perhaps some form of Elphe…? If so, it was only a little risky for her to be here in the city where Sin lay, where the most devoted to Levia and Behemo gathered, as a young Elphe from what was formerly Eldohgort. Milky hadn’t been born yet when the country changed its name, but her family only thought that had been a gesture to cover up their continuing heresy.
Nevermind, noble parents. The girl didn’t even realize where she was— spell gone wrong. And some of those that had passed on the street had given her an eye after hearing her speak. Milky smiled.
"Why, yes~," Milky said. "I wouldn’t suppose that you’ve been tampering with magic, could I?"
Gumillia sighed, nodding her head in agreement. She never saw the point of hiding it, even in places where magic was never heard of.
"That is correct. I was practicing transportation spells with ... my mentor. I miscalculated and came here." She looked around, pressing her lips together. "In short, I am not even sure what year it is." It was a bit embarrassing to admit. However, she had done it enough times by this point to not be too concerned about what the other thought of her. Chances were high that they'd never meet again.
Usually, she'd say Elluka's name, but she decided that since this woman might know her mentor, it would be best to remain silent. "Perhaps you could give me that information?"
Meeting the Mentor ~ Closed Modern AU rp with clockworkerelluka
Elluka took a nibble of the cake, then a good sized bite. She grinned, enjoying the sweet flavour. Listened to Gumillia, lips pursed for a moment before parting so she could sip her tea.
"I really only work when inspired. If I’m not, I focus on other things. Speeches, clothing designs, so on. Since I have several things I have a hand in, I’m always able to do at least something. Uhh… Yeah. If I have a deadline to meet, I’ll do summaries and notes on the days I am not too inspired. Then, when I am, I can refine it into a chapter."
She gave a long pause, sipping her tea and thinking. Ate a bit of parfait, then spoke.
"Next question."
"... I believe I have more than enough for the assignment." Gumillia finished off her tea, setting the empty cup aside. "I like talking to you, though."
It was in her nature to be blunt, but even she recognized that the words might have been a bit sudden. She suddenly seemed very interested in her own parfait, staring at that instead of the woman across the table from her. "I'm sorry if that's ..." She paused for a moment, groping for the right word. "Inappropriate."
"Thank you so much for your time. You've gone above and beyond ... For a college student with an assignment that you've never met before." It was really baffling to her, that the Elluka Clockworker would take time out of her day to be interviewed for a student's assignment.

”Oh, danke,” he breathed, letting his head flop once more. He didn’t care how she’d do it, but he was overjoyed with the fact that she’d pry him off of this thing, and he’d finally be free, and he would run with her. He would run away and pay her millions to thank her, and— WELL, HE WAS NOT EXPECTING HER TO DO THAT.
He shrieked as she sent him into the air, and though, he realized, it was only a few feet above ground, he still had to clamp his hands over his mouth and writhe to get out his fear in a quiet manner. After she let him on the ground, he whipped around to face her.
”How the hell did you do that?!”
"Magic."
The answer was short and precise. She didn't have the energy for much more. She sat down heavily on the ground, breathing heavily. Muscles twitched and danced, and she tasted iron in the back of her throat. The only time she could remember being this tired was when she and Elluka were forced to run from Lucifenian soldiers during the Green Hunting.
And, yet, if given the opportunity, she would have made the same choice. Self-preservation was important, but she could not allow another human being to suffer in that way.
... Funny, she had never considered herself a "human being" before. That probably said something very interesting about how her state of mind had changed since getting this body, but now was not the proper time to dwell on it.
"I hope it didn't ... Cause you any more pain than necessary. I tried to avoid it."

Maybe it would be best to play along. At least, that way, she might get answers. And to slide into the role of the sorceress was not a hard feat by any means. Even made up, the words flowed with a natural tone that scared the woman herself. She paused to look back at the window, making a small waving gesture. Hopefully they would understand it meant to ignore her next lines. Turned back.
✐` “Gumillia, that is enough. You know I can’t understand you if you blabber on like that. We may be around others, but call me Hanne. That is an order.” Seemed like force would be used, so she shifted her body to a more imposing appearance. Eyes narrowed, cold, ready to strike. Her hand flowed along the paper, scrawling down their conversation with a feverent speed.
✐`”I missed you as well. But please play along with me. This is an important mission on the.. Orders… of Held.” Huh, where did that name pop up? Who knew. Having to hear the babbling words brought a strange feeling of dread and pity.
Had Gumillia ever felt such fantastic relief in her life? If so, she couldn't remember it. Elluka admitted to the truth. She didn't call her insane or tell her that her name was really Megumi. "You're here." Gumillia relaxed muscles she didn't even know were tightened, allowing herself a rare smile. "I knew it was you. I knew it and now you're here and I don't have to listen to you in the trees anymore because --"
Babbling again. She paused, retraining herself. "My apologies, Ellu-- Hanne-sama. This place, it ..." She shrugged. "The walls that hide the trees sometimes make it hard to think." She leaned forward as much as her restraints would allow, whispering lowly as if to confide a deep secret. "I think They think the walls are real. It's alright, though. Maybe they'll awaken someday."
She leaned back again, nodding. "I am prepared for the mission." Short, to the point. Perfectly in character. It was easy to pick up the role again, now that she had someone playing opposite her.

To hear her say such a thing… She would be insulted. She was not insane, no. Just mad. Mad with hunger and a desire to devour everything the world had to offer.
"Interesting…" Perhaps she could conjure up more food for her…? Oh, but why have her do that when she can just devour her instead? The girl is already here, and would be the perfect snack. Maybe her mentor would come too, and she could further satiate her hunger for flesh.
"You sound so very brave." the duke purred, smiling a small smile. She could read between the lines, and almost growled something that would have sounded threatening.
She didn’t doubt it. No one wanted to die, especially not in such a painful manner. But in every fight, there was always a victor, and a loser. Banica intended to come out the victor in this fight.
"I understand quite well…~" Banica wanted this meal, and it was clear from how she was fidgeting and drooling that she intended to strike soon. Especially now, she had little patience when it came to waiting for food.
Gumillia flexed her fingers, shifted her weight so that her feet were more firmly planted on the ground. In this sort of scenario, there could be only one kind of ending. A fight was inevitable, and Gumillia was going to do everything in her power to win it.
Of course, she couldn't kill the other woman. To do so could destroy the timeline. Escape was her only option, but she couldn't outrun the madwoman. So what could be done? She'd have to take a gamble on what remained of her magic, draining what was left after the failed transportation spell.
It made her uncomfortable. Her chances of survival were weak, but they were nonexistent if she didn't do it. She drew on all of the energy she had left, planning to make a shield ... But then quickly changed tactics, choosing to harden her skin instead. It took less energy, and the woman wouldn't be able to bite through her flesh like this.
Of course, that didn't help her if she decided to snap her neck or crush her bones.
"I'm glad ... That we have an understanding. And now, I will leave this place." She tried for an authoritative tone, slowly walking backwards, never taking her eyes off of the woman in front of her. "Thank you for your time." An insane thing to say, all things considered, but the words were out of her mouth before she had a chance to think about them.

Oh. Oh, this one was a funny gal, wasn’t she? He spat out a cruel laugh at her words, unable to help himself as a tide of bitterness tried to wash him away, a cruel, angry undertow nearly doing him in.
”Can I be of any assistance?" he mocked her, but hung his head again, guilt overtaking him for a moment. She did seem sincere, even if her question was out of place; of course she could, and would greatly appreciate it!
”Yes, liebling… Please help.” Sighing, he craned his head up as far as his feeble strength could muster it to crane, and managed to look at her. Little sparks ran up and down his arms, not enough to set the clothes on fire, yet… they almost seemed like some sort of artistic decoration. Maybe that quieting, yet still brassy, trombone-ish aural patter had something to do with it.
His fingers twitched, grasping at nothing but the dank air about him.
The mocking didn't phase Gumillia, nor did the abrupt change in emotion. She was used to such capricious ways with Elluka, and if anyone had a right to be ... out-of-sorts, it was the man dangling in front of her. She allowed him the time he needed to get around to a serious answer.
With the foreign word, she placed the accent that had sounded so familiar. He spoke with an Elphe accent, and used and Elphe term of endearment, but he was clearly not from Elphegort. Even in the dark, she could see that neither his hair nor his eyes were green. So, what, then? Was he from this universe's version of Elphegort? Many questions, but none appropriate to ask at this time. What mattered now was that he was asking for help.
With magic, it would be easy. Reach out, use a spell to strengthen her arms, and pull him off. It would be painful for him, but staying there would probably be equally as painful. She knew the spell, she knew what she had to do. All she had to do was reach out ... and t o u c h ...
But there was that brassy tune. But there were those sparks.
Still, he requested help, and how else could she respond? She hung her head, heaving a sigh. "Natürlich. I'll help you." Speaking as he did, a mix between Elphe and Marlon, attempting to put him at ease by speaking in a way familiar to him. "But I don't think I can use my hands. In your current condition, it would be ..." She gestured to him vaguely. "Unwise."
She gathered her strength, knowing that using only magic to get him down would most likely drain her of what little power she had left after the failed transporation spell. It couldn't be helped. "Please, prepare yourself." With no further warning, she gave a tremendous mental flex -- muttering incantations, trying to pull him from his perch with all of the energy she had.

"I can assure you that you are in no way imposing on me. I was… Quite lonely." And still is quite hungry. She had just devoured two bodies, but they were hardly filling, being no larger than children. But this one… This one was larger than they had been, and smelled so delectable.
"Your mentor…?" she questioned curiously, almost licking her lips at the thought of two more humans to stuff down her gullet, instead of just the one. It seemed that she did not really help her situation by revealing to Banica that she was meeting someone. It just made her more eager to find her too.
There were always repercussions if someone went missing. Those many people… But they were frightened of her. Too frightened to return again. Too frightened to find out what happened to all of her staff. Oh, they knew. Her servants had heard whispers of it in Gasto before… Talk of a necromancer and cannibal. And they were smart not to come after the monster.
Any thoughts of hunger were temporarily pushed from her mind as she watched the Elphe conjure up a rose, then turn it to ashes. Unfortunately no, the destruction did not frighten her off. She had never really been one to tuck her tail between her legs like a frightened puppy.
"Very impressive…" she smiled. So she had caught herself a magician. Almost immediately, the thoughts of hunger returned to her, wondering what a mage might taste like… Would she be able to taste the magic residing within her?
"What else can you do?"
Well, the woman didn't seem particularly frightened. Gumillia wondered who would win in a fight between the two. Conchita had the power of sin on her side, but she was also insane. Plus, Gumillia was forewarned about the woman, and that had to count for something. Most of her victims didn't go into such a thing expecting their demise. Gumillia was almost sure that it would come to that, eventually. It was in the woman's nature.
"I can do much." Actually, at the moment, she could do next to nothing. Probably better not to let the other woman know that. "I can cause creation ... Or destruction. As you can see." Gumillia looked down at the ashes for a moment, before dusting them off of her hands, as if she didn't care a bit about the fact that she was in a mansion smelling of death and decay with a woman who had dried blood staining her hands.
"I do not wish ... to cause destruction. However, sometimes it is inevitable. To protect the ones I care about ... Or myself. I'm not afraid to fight for such things." Hoping the other would read between the lines and see the message she was trying to convey: I'm not afraid to fight you. And she wasn't, not really. She wasn't particularly afraid of the fight itself, it was the outcome that disturbed her.
She never told a lie when she could afford to tell the truth.
Ah, but she didn't want to die. She didn't want to completely disappear from this world. She still had much work left to do, she wanted to help Elluka and keep her safe. She couldn't do that if she died. And so she squared her shoulders, knowing that turning her back on the dangerous woman was the last thing she wanted to do, and looked her in the eye.
"Do you understand?" Not quite provoking, but making it clear that she wouldn't go down without a fight. For Elluka's sake ... She would do everything she could to survive this encounter.
Hello, kind apprentice, I have come to bequeath to thee a boot to the head.

If the Emcee were to live again, with any memories of his past self, he would have to remember never to run into anything electric again. Because shit, that electric fence hurt.
Well, it got him out of the torment the Nazis would have planned for him—plus, the death was quick. Agonizing, but quick. Gassing would have been agonizing and slow, and he preferred the former far more to that option.
But… it didn’t feel like he was dead. Maybe something like a comatose, nearly-dead state, but not… not stone cold, dead-as-a-doornail dead. It felt like… like all he needed was a spark (what a pun to make in this day and age) and he would be set free, free to fly and laugh at the poor souls condemned to a worse death than his own, and, even better, free to sneer at the saluting bastards who put him in the ground in the first place.
Faintly, he heard the sound of someone coming closer, their footsteps light and swift, almost not there at all. And they—no, she, he realized—had decided to sing. (A song to soothe his poor, fried heart…)
Something in him, something that wasn’t really him, began to “sing” along, and his mind compared it to the Kit Kat Klub’s solo trombonist, if the pretty young lady had drank a few shots of gin beforehand. If he had the energy, he would have giggled wildly; let his head loll and eyes roll in its desperate hilarity.
He managed to crack his eyes open, hearing the song come closer. From his lips plopped a wet mockery of a cough, and he slowly lifted his head, still leaned against the wall, the current somehow keeping him awake and even energizing him (so it’s nice now, isn’t it funny)
”Who…?”
The man should not be alive. Even with her bad eyes in the dim light, she could see that. His poor, abused body was only held upright by the barbs of the fence, and yet still, he spoke to her. Even that single word should have been too much for him.
This was not the work of the Wine Glass Elluka had told her about. The corpses reanimated by that object could not speak. Still, some magic was at work here. Some sort of (electricity) something she didn't have the words for, and anyways, it wasn't important why the man was talking to her, or how. What was important was that he was. Luckily, Gumillia didn't think him to be much of a threat, suspended as he was.
"..." She supposed she should answer him. But she couldn't think of a single word to say. What could she possibly say to this poor, emaciated clad in tattered stripes?
At the very least, she could try to help him down. Between what limited magic she could do here and her own arms, she could probably manage that. But the idea of touching him was ... unnerving. Perhaps he would crumble to dust under her fingertips, or shatter into a million pieces, or simply fade from existence.
Except it wasn't him she was worried about, was it? Self-preservation was a main concern, as well. What could he do to hurt her? Nothing, perhaps. Then again, the agony his body sustained ... She didn't want it to stain her own hands, infect her.
Would it be better to steal away now?
... Her conscience wouldn't allow it.
"Can I ... offer you any assistance?" There was nothing but sincerity in her voice. If she recognized how ridiculous those words sounded, she didn't let on.

Again, she wrote. Wrote what the other said, feeling a bit disturbed. Perhaps it would be best to leave and have a different reporter come back?
The woman looked back at a mirror. Only, she knew it was a one-way and the people hidden behind it could see easily into the bright room.
Sighed, then turned back.
✐` “You are mistaken. We’ll start the interview now. The last book you wrote, Revolver and Pen… What was your inspiration for it? Having written it here, I don’t see much that could inspire such lovely writing.”
Hanne wrote more in her journal, glancing only momentarily at a sheet that had all her questions on it.
✐` “Well?”
Books? There were no books. Only actions. Words on a page weren't actions, which Gumillia had. She frowned at her lap, trying to answer the question. Elluka would get mad at her if she did't follow orders, wouldn't she? "Elluka-sama was not going by her proper name at that time. Revolver-and-pen-time. I know that time because I was there." There was a long stretch of silence, but before the other could break it, the green-haired girl spoke up again.
"I, too, was going by a different name then. Not Megumi, though, never that name. It was Heide like hide, like the trees hide sometimes behind the walls. And there weren't trees there, though, because we weren't in the forest then. We got separated but met up, like we met up again now Imissedyou." The final statement was tacked on as a breathless whisper, hurried. She looked up at Elluka, and there was something in her eyes, hidden beneath the stoicism.
"Waiting ... I was waiting for you for a long time. The sun cycled again and again. Trees became walls became trees became walls and you were singing somewhere in the trees and sometimes in the walls, because the trees were always there even when I couldn't see them. I knew because I could hear your song." She nodded to herself, as if confirming something. "I could hear your song."
