He raises an eyebrow, “I’m afraid not. I heard quite a few people got invited.” He turns his attention back to his drink, “You wouldn’t happen to know the identity of our host would you?”
She was a bit surprised by that and raised her eyebrows, “Well, X seems to be getting around,” she said, “Sadly, I don’t. I wish I did. It would make things much easier.”

Ivy began to get nervous as she entered where she saw people crowded around, laughing. She knew there was a party, and despite everything. She knew she needed to go, despite everything that told her no. When she saw the other already talking about alcohol she had to take a slight moment to breathe, “yeah, i definitely saw a few people with some.”
She grinned at that excitedly. She really needed some if she really wanted to enjoy the party and pretend like X wasn’t there, “Great!” she exclaimed, “You want to get some with me?”

He was quiet for a moment. He hadn’t realized who he was talking to when he had first approached them. It was dark and he’d only seen them from behind. He frowned, knowing that he couldn’t just ignore her with so many people around, “I’d rather just leave.”
“Aw, come on,” she said, putting an arm around his shoulder and grinning at him as if it was just like old times, “Don’t be such a downer. Have some fun. Want me to go get you some firewhiskey? That’ll be sure to calm you down.”

“Well, I would hope not.” Teddy said, raising one eyebrow at his little brother’s girlfriend, “Don’t let me see you with any. Students in the forbidden forest is bad enough, we don’t need drunk students in the forbidden forest.”
“Oh, come on, Professor. It’s a party,” she said, a teasing smirk on her face, “Don’t pretend like you’re so innocent. I bet you did the same thing when you attended Hogwarts.”

She glances over at the other girl, eyebrows apparently permanently fixed together, “Mallory, I know we got off on the wrong foot the other day and I’m sorry about that. I’ve been…sick lately and it’s put me in a bad mood. That’s why I can’t stay. I just need to find Paddy, he has something that’s meant to help me.” Well, it wasn’t a total lie.
She frowned, a bit suspicious, and raised her eyebrows at the girl, “Oh,” she said, before smirking, “Are you and Paddy a thing? Is that why you’re trying to find him. Oh, juicy. You’ve got to tell me everything.”

Izabela bites her lip, folds her arms over her chest. She’d been hoping the other girl might have some idea where he is. “Yeah. Fair enough.” Comes her mumbled response, it’s obvious her thoughts are somewhere else. Finally, with a heavy sigh she looks at her, “sorry, I thought he’d be here. I need to talk to him.”
“Well, I’m sure he’s around her somewhere,” she said, shrugging a bit. Her eyes sparkled and she looked at the girl, suddenly interested, “What do you need to talk to him about?”
“This definitely sounds like fun. I’ve worn my best dress robes for this,” Mallory exclaimed cheerfully as she approached someone nearby. She wasn’t at all worried about what X would do. As long as she did what they said, she would simply try and have some fun, “Do they have any firewhiskey?”

“This sounds awfully a lot like someone is trying to mess with us,” Albus said with a frown, eyeing the presumed party with distrust, “Really? A party in the forbidden forest?”
“Oh, don’t worry about it, Al,” Mallory said with a wide grin, eager to talk to him since she hadn’t in a while, “Just have some fun!”

“Look,” she doesn’t mean to be so blunt with the other but she really needs to find Patrick and get the hell out of there before the moon hit it’s highest point. She can already feel the familiar, painful churning in her chest, “I’m in a really big hurry so unless whatever you have to say is of life or death importance I would really, really appreciate it if we could continue this conversation at some other time.”
“Oh, come on. What’s got you in such a hurry?” Mallory asked with a raised eyebrow, a smirk on her face. She shook her head and regarded her carefully, “Can’t you just stay a little longer? I’m sure things are going to be really fun soon, and I need someone to hang out with.”

“You haven’t seen Freddie Weasley, have you?” The question leaves her lips before she can really stop it, and she turns to face the person beside her, eyebrow raised expectantly. After being abandoned by Val for one reason or another she’s kind of just been wondering around in the hopes of bumping into her…boyfriend(?) - she’s still not quite sure what to call him - but she’s so far had no luck.
“Freddie Weasley? No, can’t say I’ve seen him. Not in a few days, at least,,” Mallory responded with a light shrug. She sent the girl a brief smile, “I don’t usually keep a look out for him, or anyone that he really hangs out with. I stick to a different group of people, you know.”

“So,” He drawls, turning to look at the person sitting next to him, “Did you get an invite to this…shindig, or did you just hear about it on the grapevine? I’ve heard a couple of different stories from people tonight.“
“An invite. Does that make me special?” Mallory asked with a light smirk on her face, tossing her hair behind her head.

Night time wanderings were seemingly becoming a habit for Alex. She’d been rudely awoken by one of the other girls in the dorm’s boyfriend as he snuck in, and instead of waiting around to hear them forget a silencing charm again, she decided to wander around the Hogwarts corridors instead. Her breath caught in her throat as she saw a shadow coming around the corner, and she braced herself for whoever it was.
Mallory was doing her rounds, an activity that she really did not enjoy. All she ever found out of bed was usually first-years, and the occasional prankster or distraught student. So, she was a bit surprised when she walked up to see an older year. She tilted her head and sent them a smile, never one for reprimanding those who were breaking the rules, “What are you doing out of bed?”

Scorpius was silent, stuffing more food into his mouth before he choked at the question. What was that, ten seconds? He coughed, taking a drink from his cup to help before clearing his throat and shaking his head. He couldn’t tell her he knew, but he wasn’t about to sit there and talk about Albus to her either. Especially not where she could find him. ‘’I thought you two were taking a break from each other,’’ he said carefully, eyes staying on his plate. Being mean wasn’t normal for Scorpius, he didn’t know how to be mean to people with feeling guilty about it right afterwards. But he could be mean to Mallory. He totally thought he could be mean to Mallory.
A small smirk appeared on her face when she obviously surprised him with the question and she quickly wiped it off of her face. She was still a bit worried. The more people who knew, the harder it would be to stay out of Azkaban. It was only supposed to be her and Albus... and Phoenix. She just smiled at him, however, “Is that what he’s been saying? Oh, he’s so silly. We had a little spat, that’s it. Nothing to warrant a break! I haven’t seen him in a while, though. I’m starting to miss him.”

Maya shook her head. ‘’He’s a Carrrow. Just because he got Hufflepuff, doesn’t make him any less of one. Just wait.’’
“Oh, he’s not that bad,” Mallory shook her head in disbelief, and let out a light laugh, “He’s a bit anti-social, sure, but he’s my friend.”

“Ah, Twitch is a nervous wreck without me.” Fred chuckled, rubbing the little owl’s head fondly. “Mum reckons it’s cause I babied him too much when he was little, but I think that’s the point of having a pet, yeah?” His head tilted to the side and he hummed thoughtfully. “I wonder how he gets out of your common room. If you want, I can help you look for him?” He was going to try his hardest to be nice to this girl, since he’d made such an arse out of himself last time.
“I got Socks after he was full grown,” Mallory said with a light nod, thoughtful, “It was definitely helpful to raise him, though. Keeps him from trying to escape like Socks,” she thought for a minute at his pondering, “He probably slips out whenever someone leaves. He’s a sneaky little thing,” she brightened up at the suggestion and nodded, definitely up for trying to get back on his good side, “That would be great.”

“Bug. It’s a nickname my dad gave me,” Rhylee answered but not wanting to go into the full story with a Slytherin. “And frogs eat bugs, so I thought it would work. So what does the cat look like?”
“That’s such a cute name!” Mallory exclaimed cheerfully, “Socks and Bug should meet. I’m sure they’d be great friends,” she let out a light laugh, “Socks is grey all around, except for his feet. They are white, hence the name.”

Scorpius shook his head, his hand coming up to rub at the back of his neck in a nervous tic. He couldn’t tell her he knew what she did. He’d promised Albus he wouldn’t say anything. And if she found out he knew, who knew what she’d do to Albus? She’d already hit him. But how was he supposed to sit and eat with her knowing what she was? He swallowed hard before sitting back down. He wasn’t going to risk anything happening to Albus. He cleared his throat and took a drink of his glass before giving her a weak smile. ‘’Sorry. It’s been a real off day, i guess,’’ he forced out. If he could just eat quick, he’d have an excuse to leave.
He was obviously nervous. She frowned as she observed him, trying to figure out what was up with him. She had always gotten the impression that he did not like her off of him, but never this... wariness. She couldn’t figure out what could have him this way, other than Albus having told him, even after promising that he wouldn’t. Still, she smiled at him, “I understand that,” she said cheerfully. She was quiet for a moment and then said, “Hey, have you seen Albus today?”
