Hello tumblr gainer community! I’ve been MIA for a while now and just wanted to give yall an update. Unfortunately I gave one of my “friends” access to my Gmail account and they had erased my tumblr account. I was trying for so long to get it back but there is nothing I could do. Hey everyone, just dropping a quick update on travel, bills, commissions etc.
The good news first: I've got most of my travel bills for the year covered by your previous commissions. Thanks so much! I haven't nailed down the details yet for my trip(s) but I think I'll likely be traveling for a couple weeks in October. I am hoping to fly to Chicago to visit friends, head to Connecticut to visit my sister and then fly to Florida to visit my parents but that's all up in the air right now (no pun). Once I finalize plans I will keep y'all posted on when I will be out of town. More under the cut...
The not so great news: I am facing a slew of huge vet bills for the cats so I will likely be opening more commissions soon. L'il Beebz is scheduled for surgery on Wednesday to remove an ear polyp. This is not a procedure we can put off, he is already suffering from chronic infections and the polyp will only continue to grow over time. The estimate for this procedure is between $2500-$4500. That being said he does have pet insurance, I just don't know yet how much (if any) his insurance will cover for this procedure. I will keep you all informed. On top of that Spooky has been sick (weight loss) and the vet thinks this may be infection caused by his gum inflammation so he's scheduled for a dental on Wednesday. This dental is estimated to cost between $1700-$2000. Spooky does also have pet insurance but from my previous experience with the insurance is that they don't really cover dental stuff (despite saying they do) claiming that it's caused by a pre-exisiting condition so maybe I'll get lucky and they'll cover something? But I'm not holding my breath on that one. Spinner is also scheduled for a dental next month, he needs most of his teeth removed. This is actually the second dental procedure because they didn't want to take out all the teeth in one go. His previous dental was earlier this month and cost around $2000 and this next one will be about the same, he is not covered by insurance. These bills were large and unexpected so I will definitely be working my darndest to cover them with commission sales. If you've been wanting one, please keep an eye out for my commission posts.
I think I'll likely be opening some commissions next week but admittedly my mental health has been pretty abysmal for the past two months so it may take me a little longer to open them. But I will keep you all informed along the way. Thank you all so much for your support and patience! And please put out some good vibes for my kitties. I am stressed and I hope they will all do okay.
