Nobody is pushing a pro genocide agenda. We’re picking the lesser of two evils. Also Roe v Wade was appealed by Supreme Court Justices appointed by Trump, which wouldn’t have happened if he was never elected. Democrats aren’t perfect, but they are a hell of a lot better.

I’m not a comic expert, but apparently DC use to believe apes were big sellers during the silver age. It was because an issue of Strange Adventures featuring a gorilla sold well so DC was like “ more gorillas!”

The Paldea Pokédex is mid it’s like 90% variants of existing Pokémon and just not a lot going on in terms of anything new. Maybe we should’ve kept our mouths shut about liking regional variants because now GF has realized they can just cut corners by making a bunch of regional variants instead of actually making a fully new Pokédex.

There are 22 regional forms in this game out of 108 new pokemon. That is 20.37%. There are also 5 new evolutions which is something pokemon gave us since gen 2. Pessimistic pokemon fan don’t know how to do math.

I’m looking through the tag because I want to see the leaks. I only responded to two people. One was the really dumb “It doesn’t look like a pokemon” criticism and the second was yours because your complaint was just objectively wrong. It’s pretty clear you’re just a cynical person. Hopefully you can grow up one day.

Ok buddy. Let’s treat your criticism as hyperbole. It’s still bad criticism. Let us remove all the regional forms from the dex. After we do that, we still have 86 new Pokémon. 90 if we add back the regional fakes since those are actually new Pokémon. Paldea would add more new Pokémon than X and Y & Sword and Shield (before DLC) and added almost as much Pokémon as  Sun and Moon. I don’t think that’s too bad. There’s really only 4 Paldean Regional Pokemon (which are only two different species) and the rest are Paradox Pokémon which is a new gimmick. Your criticism is invalid.

It’s nice. I haven’t played any of those games. I’m not really much of a JRPG person (though maybe I should try getting into them again.) The only experience with that franchise is Smash Bros and I only played Shulk a couple times. I never could figure out how to use him well. I do remember not being the biggest fan of the stage based on Xenoblade.

Ok, but what the hell does a pokemon even look like? Pokemon has had a variety of designs over the years. Even in generation 1 you had really simplistic designs like Diglett or really complicated designs like Rhyhorn.

It's funny to me how so many people ignore the part of the Lindsay Ellis disk horse that showed several Asian fans politely explaining why her comments were off to them, but instead of acknowledging them and apologizing, she and her fans brushed everyone in a single stroke, called them "crazy," and THEN made herself a victim.

Like, apparently, she's been active in the past month and everyone is STILL on that bullshit. Why do white women and their enablers want to make themselves the victim when it's easier to just say, "Hey, I'm sorry!"

She acknowledge that there was probably legitimate criticism being made towards her, but it was drowned out by hyperbolic ramblings from white “allies” and insults. Expecting her to scroll through dozens of abusive tweets to find the polite explanations, is asking her not to be a human being. It’s clear that the majority of people trying to cancel her were what I call “Confirmation Cancellers”, people who find someone they already don’t like and try their hardest to paint them as a terrible human being. It would be lying to say that all the people going after her were criticizing her in good faith. It makes more sense that people were exploiting the “Stop Asian Hate” movement to bury someone they already didn’t like. It stopped being about supporting asians when people were bringing up unrelated shit she did years ago and claiming that they’re going after her friends next. Why aren’t you going after those people, they were the ones that ruined everything. If those people just stayed out of it, then she probably would have responded to the polite criticism. You should be mad at those people if you really cared about stopping Asian hate! 

As for whether her original tweet, saying it’s racist is such a stretch. Many people, including some Asian people, have pointed out plot similarities between Raya and Avatar. Also if she was really saying that there should be a genre for YA material that inspired by Asian Culture, then that’s not really racist. There are ton of specific genre names for stories that came from a certain region or culture. Afrofuturism is the name for speculative fiction and art that is mixed with African Culture (I.E. Black Panther.) Blacksploitation is the name of exploitation films that revolve around black people. Hell, we have specific genre name for Animation that comes from Japan! 

Now to be fair, I’m not Asian so I’m not the best judge of whether or not her tweet was racist towards Asians. I will say that according to your bio your not Asian either! So you’re just as unqualified to decide. I did notice you were a dceu/ Snyder Stan and Lindsay Ellis is not a fan of Zack Snyder’s work. I also found this post from you. 

“I’ve had a bad feeling about her for awhile”. So you already didn’t like her, but now you can say you have moral reasons not to like her! I also notice that you only had one “Stop Asian Hate” post on your blog (which was a photoset of an actress), yet you have multiple post about hating Lindsay Ellis. I think it’s safe to assume that you joining the dog pile isn’t because you care about Asian people, but because you already hated Lindsay (Probably because she said something negative about Zack Snyder). You’re so clearly a confirmation canceller. I hope I’m wrong though, because using a movement that sprouted up because of violence against asians as an excuse to shit on a Youtuber you didn’t like, is truly despicable.
