Here's a little animation practice I did for class! It was fun practice and experimentation- but I def want to tackle something more visually dynamic for the go-around!

long time no post! Here's a 3-piece set I created this semester! I created a series of pieces based on a sacred item, which I chose as a childhood necklace of mine!

From top to bottom: We have a carved and stained poplar trinket dish- then a simple white oak standing cabinet (the patterning and rays are GORGEOUS)- and then finally, we have a mixed cherry and walnut tea tray with a laser-etched design!

This was my (second) first time working with wood as a medium, and it was so much fun! Hopefully I will be able to post more woodworking projects in the future!

Anyways, this is my silk/night hybrid and she is very sweet and will get her and her friends in trouble. Most nightwings regard her of being ‘too silk-like to be a nightwing’ but it’s nary a bother to her- since she knows most of their feelings about it don’t go too deep.
